Pros It's an okay system for timecards, however, you have access to everyone's timecard in this system. It also doesn't allow you to sign your timecard daily. Cons I stored my signature on file however I get an email notice every week to review and sign my timecard, however, it does not allow me to just insert my stored signature so I have to write it every time. Pros Raken's support is second to none. They are always responsive, patient and knowledgeable. The software speaks for itself. Most of my field staff is not tech savy and they fought me every step of the way until they actually had to use Raken for the first time, now I get calls if the project is not set up in Raken. I would have never believed it if I didn't see it for myself. Cons One criticism is the need to have reports emailed instead of being able to just view them. Customer service was on point Cons Was tough starting from scratch but with the team we worked out issues easy. It was a bit of an issue to connect with our accounting software. It provides logging and "eyes in the field" from the office. Pros I like the ease of use, training tool and data logging options. Cons I do not like that I have to contact Tech Support if one of the Techs has found themselves locked out of the app. It would be quicker/easier if I had the option to reset the password link for them. Especially the little improvements that happen within the software. It is obvious that the team at Raken listens to the feedback of its customers. Pros Ease of tracking job progress for manpower and progress. Cons Some times it is difficult to find exactly what you are looking for, but it gets easier as you navigate through more and more. Pros I have used Field Wire and Procore extensively. Neither allow the collaboration, and interaction of a large agency like HDR implements with Raken. Al the others have their high points, but communication together is more important daily than the recording of events. Good Job! Cons I have not used any of the drawing interactive features. Once connected it was a very fast transition. Team was super helpfull in trying to get the program installed and ready. Pros Once the setup was completed. the ease at which we can upload pay hours and gather reports was amazing and most workers have adjusted to it quite well. Cons Equipment tracking is currently the worst feature. you can only add equipment by hours. you can' separate it into different segments. and when you are working on and off a project each time you move the equipment it creates an entry and make it really hard to track/ has too many entires. Pros Raken allows for easily uploading field notes and progress photos. We also have created customized checklists that we use for project initiation, preconstruction and progress meetings and punch list. Cons It would be better if the checklists were available right from the main screen where the daily report is listed. I think that would help team members remember. I think it is adequate but could have a few more features where you can customize tabs. It doesn't seem like it is not that easy to filter and search topics (but i'm not completely familiar with all features). Pros Raken is fairly simple to use. Its feature are not complex or convoluted, and it covers enough to reflect accurate daley activities. I use the software mostly through my phone, but you have the option to do it from a PC. Cons Depending on network coverage using from your phone can be negative. When you go into the photo app you can't see the dates photos were taking making it difficult to select correct date range. If sub contractors are inputting info, it would be nice if it showed within specific area (subs work log) real time, so that it can be integrated within licensed users Log (not separate) Review Source Response from RAKEN March 15, 2019 Thanks for your feedback, Skip!
