It's truly a shame because the product can actually be very cool and helpful. But the lack of support and terrible customer service means that it's more trouble than it's worth. As we signed our contract we had high hopes to expand our business with them into their other products like employee engagement and video interviewing, but that is never going to happen now after our implementation and support experience.

Pros

Phenom does deliver an amazing career site with the ability to capture Leads and Partial applications. We have seen our application skyrocket since implementation. The CRM is easy to use for simple campaigns and sourcing.

Cons

The implementation with Phenom was a mess. Their third party implementation partner was clueless and had little to no knowledge of how to properly connect Phenom to our ATS. When we went live with the career site, it took MONTHS to fix all the bugs. This is not an experience unique to us- many of their largest clients do not use the Phenom integrated apply flow. You can see for yourself by starting to apply for a job on their clients pages. Support: Customers do not get a dedicated Success Manager since they switched to a "Global Support Model". All items are tickets, which are never resolved within contract SLAs. The average time of resolution of any ticket, no matter how small, is about 3 weeks. Tickets are often passed from support desk to support desk, with no actions or resolutions. It don't seem like Support has a good understanding of how their product works. I've had a tickets open for 3 weeks for them to tell me, "this is expected behavior".Training/User adoption: Phenom provides a training database, which is useful at times, but it takes 6+ months to become a power user- not even an expert. Because all training is self guided and support tis non existent, you will need a full time employee to manage Phenom. Complicated: The abilities inside Phenom are truly remarkable- if you can get them to work. Without support or guidance provided from Phenom, it feels like you are thrown in there and told "good luck!"

Overall my experience with phenom is good but I would say if they can implement some more changes then this product is fantastic.

Pros

I really like the campaign management feature which allows us to target our all candidates at once+ it gives us all the information about bounced emails, responded, opened, etc which I feel is very unique.

Cons

There are multiple things which I don't like:-We can not delete multiple candidates from the project, we need to delete every candidate one by one.we can not change the status in bulk.

Switched from

we switched from workday to phenom because we were not able to run an email campaigns for our candidates.

This is great software to manage large number of applicants and manage the Talent pipeline. software is being used in many mid level companies so it can be an advantage for someone who knows how to use it.

Cons

nothing specifically as this is not a go through software for many small companies so it is not as frequent.

Pros

The ability to create talent pools, create live events and source passive candidates, makes for an excellent system. From a performance perspective, the ability to pull of live reports from the dashboard helps greatly when assessing and driving team performance.

Cons

At times the reports can take some time to pull off; however, this is a minor detail and I have yet to see any major faults.

Overall i have found Phenom to be extremely helpful in finding and identify candidates for troublesome roles that have been a challenge in the past. Keen to see how it can improve and become even better in the future.

Pros

I find this to be a very user friendly system which was easy to pick up from the start. It always generates a great pool off candidates and the ability to use it for the full end to end process is great.

Cons

The only con for me is the time it takes between screens which may be a system issue and not software issue.

Pros

Phenom is an excellent add-on to our Recruiting tool kit. Phenom is integrated into our ATS (Workday) and not only does it pick up all current applications, it's AI also picks up online impressions and links them to LinkedIN profiles - basically doing the talent sourcing for you. It's intuitive and a tech-savvy recruiter can create dynamic lists to talent pipeline for all kinds of roles.

Cons

For a user that is very new to talent sourcing tools, this can feel quite daunting and hard to use.
