They made a stressful task for me bearable and quite honestly, fun. You should use them as your vendor- you will be glad you did . Pros The most attractive features of Contract Safe are the people who work there and the program- it is easy to implement, use and understand. Cons The least favorite feature is that you need frontload all of the agreements and tag them but that is with every comparable software program. The best part is that ContractSafe helps with it. " September 23, 2025 5.0 Investing in ContractSafe has been transformational to our organization. Previously we had no CLM system and was relying on folders on a shared site. It was very difficult to know what we had agreed to in any of our contracts. ContracSafe has brought all of our data points together in one spot. The site is very intuitive and easy to use. The ability to customize the meta data fields to suit our agreements as well as the easily configurable reports is also a huge plus. Pros For our organization we feel that the ease of use and ease of being able to customize the format was a huge plus. The customer support has been outstanding, ContractSafe wants you to get what you paid for, and they are always available to help. Overall, this product is great value for money! Cons Sometimes the documents when resized can be blurry, however if you switch to the document only view it usually rectifies itself. It occurs very infrequently. He answered all of my many questions and provided me with the needed technical supporting documentation. After joining ContractSafe, my next contact was a Customer Success Manager and she has gone above and beyond in helping me navigate the system. There is always help around the corner when it is needed, which is not needed that much because this system if fairly straight forward and easy to use. Pros There are several factors why ContractSafe was chosen over all of the other contract systems. Ease of use was the primary reason (as well as easy to install), while the other factor was the lower cost of use. Also, both of my contacts at ContractSafe have been very helpful. Cons There have not been any negatives in using ContractSafe. On rare occasions, the system will freeze up while I am updating an agreement, but I can simply unfreeze it by clicking on the refresh icon. June 24, 2024 5.0 I met with \[sensitive content hidden\] to do a demo, and I was impressed with the features, especially the AI function that automatically identifies the start and expiration dates, the company, counterparties, and any other important information you need to identify. You can even set up notifications to alert you to upcoming expiration dates. ContractSafe is one of the most intuitive services I've ever used. I signed up about a month ago, and I've already uploaded over 150 documents. I especially love the ability to tag each document, create links, and set up folders and subfolders to organize our documents easily. The onboarding process was easy, and I had all the support I needed. Their security is top-notch as well. Pros ContractSafe is one of the most intuitive services I've ever used. Cons So far, no issues. I like the features of the service. The AI module continues to learn and becomes more and more accurate overtime, which saves time with initial load and setup of documents. Setting up and viewing based upon easy to build custom fields and tags is flexible and fast. Overall, extremely easy to adapt to our existing business processes and easily modified once set when requirements change Cons Any software can be improved. Native API level integration with reporting tool suites is my number one request as an add on to the product. They are working on an API and we are anxious to get that deployed so we can easily integrate with our enterprise wide reporting. We have gone from housing PDFs to being a true project management powerhouse. We are able to store vendor contracts, utilities, vehicle registration, and insurance details for our properties. I appreciate being able to customize views for each of these areas, capturing the unique data points. She helped us build reports, understand the platform, and exceed our expectations for this platform. Cons The AI still has some room to grow. As I have been pushing the limits, using it for utility bill storage alongside contracts, there are certain datapoints a standard contract picks up but not the invoices. I feel that the platform is continuing to improve and customer service has been great about asking for features that I would like to see. It may lack a few bells and whistles of some much pricier platforms, I didn't feel that I would need those features and/or not worth the price difference. This platform has worked great for us so far. Cons I wish that drag and drop was a feature to add contracts. Additionally, while there are way to customize the view, I wish there was a way to automatically have a certain view be associated with different folders. ContractSafe has solved that problem for us and now it's extremely rare that our legal team has to resort to asking around for a contract. Pros We have been very pleased with ContractSafe and have watched it grow and improve over time. The customer service has been great and any time we encounter a bug or spot an area for potential improvement we can tell our feedback is heard. ContractSafe is clearly designed for legal teams. The fields that are mapped to metadata are exactly what legal teams want to know and track. The ability to search anywhere within a document is excellent. It integrates well with DocuSign. The permissions and reminder functions are well set up. Cons ContractSafe is rapidly trying to roll out an AI feature that will read your contracts for you and pull out some of the metadata reducing the need for manual entry. While a laudable goal, right now the feature is still weak. Also a con is the fact that this is not a full lifecycle contract management solution, but it never pretends to be and doesn't charge as if it is. Review Source SC Shawn C. Other “solutions” are too big, expensive and cumbersome. Customizing ContractSafe is so simple and I get just what I need the moment I need it. I no longer need budget dollars and months to make a change that improves efficacy, visibility, or compliance. I’ve been a professional contract administrator for nearly 20 years, implemented at least 6 other contract management systems, and I’m always impressed by ContractSafe’s ease of use and immediate and helpful customer service (which is rarely needed.) Cons Unaware of an email repository; it could be helpful.
