Pros I like the ease of uploading contracts and the fact that a majority of terms can be auto-filled. Being able to name files whatever you want without restrictions is very convenient. It may lack a few bells and whistles of some much pricier platforms, I didn't feel that I would need those features and/or not worth the price difference. You can even set up notifications to alert you to upcoming expiration dates. is one of the most intuitive services I've ever used. I signed up about a month ago, and I've already uploaded over 150 documents. I especially love the ability to tag each document, create links, and set up folders and subfolders to organize our documents easily. The onboarding process was easy, and I had all the support I needed. Their security is top-notch as well. Pros is one of the most intuitive services I've ever used. Cons So far, no issues. Documents are automatically OCR'ed and the search features are also very user friendly, reliable and accurate. We also appreciate the always friendly, informed, and responsive support team, and the resources made available for troubleshooting questions. Cons There is a lot of manual updating and tracking involved in using as a full CLM tool vs. as a basic repository. There are lots of manual steps required to update contract status, add and update custom fields, capture attachments and approvals, etc. This leaves more room for human error than is ideal. There are lots of trainings available and the support team is very responsive if I ever have a question. I'll be interested to see how the rest of the team feels after rolling out, but I anticipate a smooth transition as the product is fairly intuitive. Pros What attracts me most to this system is the intuitive user interface for each individual user. In addition to providing a user-friendly and logical contract storage system, it is easy as an admin to control what any given user can see and do in the system. It’s also really easy to track all key dates/contract terms and to send out customizable reminders for specific individuals of your choosing. On top of all that, it has features for sending out contracts for signature and UNLIMITED storage for related documents (like redlines) among other things. The other systems I looked at were either way more robust (and thus more complicated) than we needed or alternatively they provided most of what we needed but were much less intuitive for the way we process things. I could go on, but at the end of the day it has everything we are looking for (plus a little bit more) in a system that seems very user-friendly and easy to use. Cons Like any software, it is not without certain flaws. The \[AI\]ssistant has it's limits and there is a bit of a learning curve to use it most effectively. Probably what annoys me the most is the contract list, but that is probably a learning curve issue as well. In less than 10 minutes I had my first contract uploaded, tagged and had created two custom fields in my dashboard to capture the data I needed. I thought I would really dislike not having a folder structure to organize my contracts, but this tool has Optical Character Recognition (OCR) - just like Google - which means I can search any word or phrase - or type in some of the information I created in one of my fields - and the contract(s) pop right up. WOW. The other thing I want to comment on is the fantastic customer service provided by the Team. They actually want feedback, and they actually want to address customer concerns - and yes, you get an actual person on the phone when you call them. We looked at 4 other platforms and each of them felt like a high-pressure sales job to get us to sign-up in that moment without any discussion about how we would be supported on the back-end. Potential for "IF - THEN" statements in the software would be beneficial, but not strictly necessary. Coding for summary pages is unfortunately restricted to a certain formatting. For companies attempting to manage a larger number of contracts and granting access, there are are some pain points that a smaller company may not necessarily encounter. It would be nice if the User Access Settings would list more information for the user than just their email address: such as the user's first and last name, access granted date, an identifying region or area that links them to a potential "group" within ContractSafe would make it easier to apply bulk action changes. Pros There is an increasing acceptance of digital signatures and it makes sense to utilize digital storage of contracts for easy access and retrieval by my key staff. I find very easy to use to: 1. Set reminders about contract anniversary dates. I find a lot of companies who I deal with as a consumer only contact me annually when it's time to pay my subscription. Setting multiple reminders before the contract anniversary acts as another reminder that you should contact your customers well in advance of their anniversary, even if you think things are going well. I also use the key dates area of the ContractSafe dashboard to act as a visual reminder. 2. Always have access to the current contract and previous versions on demand. My clients often lose their contract and I can easily retrieve and email a copy to them within minutes. 3. ContractSafe is intuitive and very easy to set up and use. 4.
