Pros The user interface is super intuitive. The product is great for managing responsibilities and ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner Cons I cannot think of any at this time. The customer service is excellent and there are very quick responses. They also have implemented many of our suggestions. As we grow, it makes tracking ownership so easy and keeps the entire team on track to meet close deadlines. Pros FloQast makes it incredibly easy to track tasks, deadlines, and ownership. It also clearly links workpapers to tasks, and then further links workpapers to your integrated GL to easily tie out/reconcile account balances. April 4, 2019 5.0 We started as a small team of me and two others, where I was doing the main account recs. We were not able to reconcile all the balance sheet accounts and the month-end close process was loose. Implementing Floqast forced us to put together a formal close checklist and allowed me to easily assign tasks to the others on the team and hold them accountable. We're now a team of six people in two countries and the visibility of Floqast across entities allows me to know exactly where we are in the close process and at what step we're running into issues. Pros I love the ease of use and ability to quickly add new users and entities. The user interface is well thought out and allows users to quickly learn the software. FloQast helps us manage workflows, properly allocate tasks among team members, and monitor progress. It is simple to use and easy to modify. We are happy with the system. Cons For someone assigned as a "Preparer" for some tasks, and as a "Reviewer" for other tasks, it would be nice to have the ability to filter the Check list just as a preparer or just as a reviewer. If any balance changes there is a notification to ensure it is reconciled again. Pros Floqast helps ensure reconciliations and checklist items are complete on a monthly basis and flags any out of balance errors. This is incredibly helpful when doing an audit as the auditors already have all relevant schedules. Cons The daily alerts can be slightly annoying but this is customizable. Within that time frame, we've had a major company infrastructure change and I was able to work with Lilith to help maintain the smooth transition. She's been with us from implementation, and I'm glad she's provided continued support to this day. I cannot speak for all customers, but the support we received is well above avg. in response and resolution. The FQ team is constantly trying to improve their product and ask for feedback on anything. Features we asked about when we implemented are now a standard feature, which shows they are listening and are actively testing new features to bring to the standard product. Admins require some computer knowledge, mostly for setup, but FQ will help you every step of the way. Pros great support, easy to learn as admin, via internet Cons We use Box.com for our storage, and the issue we run into is our admins from implementation deleted folders because they didn't like that folder structure, so they decide to make changes, which FQ makes those folders unique, so when we deleted, it took a function away from us. Cons It does not provide any notification if the previous month reconciliation is out of balance. Pros \* We had Floqast add the "Reconciling Items" field to the B/S Recon screen to see at a glance what issues are open in the Balance Sheet. \* Quick Filters in the B/S Recon screen make it easy to move between views \* Internal auditors can depend on the Checklist and B/S Reconciliations for SOX Cons Floqast has a great opportunity to train or reinforce with their new (and existing) users what a B/S recon is. " May 1, 2017 4.0 Pros The customer support team is fantastic- very helpful and the response time is instantaneous. The tool is also pretty user friendly and intuitive to use, this has allowed minimal downtime when adding new users and cut down on training time. Cons We experienced some minor road bumps with google syncing up on a delay but that was resolved. We look forward to all the updates and additional functionalities the developers are making. Numbers appearing in the books are automatically updated on real time basis as a result chances of errors are very less. With floqast dependency on others get reduced as all reconciliation are at one place in the floqast tool.Infact we can set up a deadline for the reconciliation to be updated on floqast and pop-ups are received accordingly in the email so that timeline is never missed. Snapshot of completeness is also available for ease of checking." Pros Automtated updation of numbers in the tool so that any alteration in the reconciliation uploaded are checked and closed than and there. November 1, 2017 5.0 Pros Sign offs, everything you need for review is in one spot. Integration with Intacct and box.com. High quality customer service. Cons This has more to do with cloud storage providers than FQ. We would like to be able to sync box.com (or another provider) with our server rather than having to save files directly, but have been unable to find a solution for this. Additionally, it has helped us to organize and streamline our balance sheet reconciliations while eliminating wasteful processes. Pros I love the hash-tag feature because it provides the user with the flexibility and computational power of Excel with the robustness of a reconciliation data warehouse. Additionally, the checklist feature is a great way to plan out your month and your financial close. We also use FloQast to capture audit evidence surrounding review and approvals. This has been paramount to our success in both internal and external audits. Used the software for: ### "Great Product and Customer Service!" April 26, 2017 5.0 This software has sufficiently helped and improved our close process. Prior to FloQast we were using excel timelines and calendars that we would forget to update. FloQast sends us daily reminders and updates each month to keep us up to date with the status of the close and how we can close the books faster in future months. The General Ledger connection to NetSuite has been a huge help to our process as well. This feature has allowed us to monitor and know when a balance changes in NetSuite and make sure we update our reconciliations and supporting documents accordingly. Aside from how much we are utilizing the product, we also have had the pleasure of working with a great team at FloQast who have provided excellent customer service. Pros \- Simple and easy-to-use interface - I love being able to continue to utilize excel, while still having an organized and defined close and checklist process -Helpful customer service Cons We have not been able to automate our trial balances to upload directly into Floqast. Pros I love the Reconciliation flow of FloQast. It saves time and money on actions that used to take longer to preform. Cons AutoRec on the Prepaid account is my favorite item at this time. It has really transformed our review process. Cons Dashboard view is limited at the summary level. Cannot filter notes by who I have assigned them to. Used the software for: ### "The holy grail of financial closing process management" April 25, 2017 5.0 Closing the books is like herding gnats unless you take a very systematic, measured approach and are able to effectively measure progress. Closing the books accurately, requires analysis of the various balance sheets "as" the books are closed (not as a post closing task). Many accountants try to argue that, due to time constraints, this is just not possible. Many accountants are wrong. Floqast addresses all of these issues and does with ease. It's simple and it works. Hands down, one of the best applications I have ever used.
