### "Vagaro is a great software"

My overall experience is great.

Pros

I like the automated system, easy to use and neat.

Cons

The rescheduling system is not so good, I believe it's limited to three body parts ( in our case, laser hair removal treatments). It's a little complicated because we have to schedule twice or more for the same client. Also, the client receives a few confirmation e-mails. I believe it would make our job much easier if we could reschedule all the sessions, for the same client, altogether.

Because it suites my business better, it's more specific for my niche.

This system is extremely easy to get to know and use. Ive used several other systems over my 25 yrs in my business and this system has done everything I need it to do and more

Cons

Pros

Cost of the service compared to others on the market, such as MindBody.

Vagaro Support is the worst I've ever worked with. We have been working on getting our small business on Vagaro's platform since April. It is now Aug, & we are still not up and running. Everything we are doing is Out-of-the-Box. No customization. However, support has not been able to complete our import, so we've been paying a monthly fee since April for a service we cannot use. They are horrible at responding to requests for status updates. I'll email support multiple times and they don't respond for weeks, if at all. The only time I can make any headway on our import is if I work on it myself, or when I start calling them daily (sometimes 2x/day). Then we make a little progress only to begin the cycle again a few days later with me being ghosted. If you're looking to use Vagaro for your business, don't. We are at the point where we are willing to take the sunk cost on the money & significant amount of time we have put into this and start over with one of Vagaro's competitors, such as MindBody.

We apologize for your experience; we take matters like this very seriously and want to let you know we are committed to providing excellent customer service. The import process exists to quickly onboard customers coming from other software, in this case the files you sent were custom, so it did not work with any of our (out of the box) automated processes. We provided a Sample File to show the required format, but we never received the data in the correct format. Despite this, our team began making adjustments on your behalf, in an effort to get the data in the proper format. While typical responses occurred next business day, a change of management occurred on your end which did cause some additional delays. Delays could have been avoided entirely had we been provided data in the supplied format; management changes had not occurred, and updates to your terminology were not regularly changed between responses from your business.

I've had several issues with feature options and deposits / numbers not being accurate which is a massive issue

Pros

There's a lot to figure out with the system but once you have it figured out it's fairly easy to operate. There are some hiccups though.

The deposits are charged when it is not set up that way. BUT, customer service is so easy to access and they always try to make things better with the software

Working with Vagaro has been very enjoyable. I like how I was checked in on when deciding what program to use. That made the difference for me.

Pros

I enjoy the fact that everything is all put together in one place. All the forms I need are here and customizable to what I need.

Cons

I have yet to see anything that I don't like about the program.

It has benefited me greatly with the ease of the program both for myself and my customers. And having access on the website or an app, I can make any changes necessary. I love that the app is now completely the same as the desktop version! GREAT JOB VAGARO!!!

Pros

Super easy to use. I like the color coded services, the ease of scheduling on any device. Integrates with other media with ease. The websites we can create are professional and super easy to create! Add ons like shopping cart to your website are inexpensive and easy to turn on/off at any time...I have done so, many times. LOVE the COVID CLEAN CHECKOUT!! Clients are SO impressed by my business because of that. Whenever the software is updated, it usually doesn't have any major issues. If it's minor..it's fixed immediately! This company is ALWAYS on their game! Numerous more features are a blessing...just can't name or remember them all!!

Cons

I'm still waiting to be able to check out a client paying with 2 or more different credit cards on one checkout instead of adding their service again with the remaining balance etc..I have to make another appointment basically, to use each additional card...:-(

Vagaro saved us days out of a year of communication hands on with customers. Our small business used to email and collect info and booking details from each customer individually, and now Vagaro handles so much of this that our bridal alterations business is growing exponentially.

Pros

Streamlined front end and back end business operations as a whole. Provided us and our customers services that we did not even know we needed. Vagaro changed the trajectory of our bridal alteration business.

Cons

Some actions can not be done singularly. When color coating appointments you can only change the grouping as a whole not individual services. The system freezes semi frequently. When creating a series, options of days are limited, its something like everyday until X date but you are unable to specify, weekdays only etc.

GREAT! like I said before customer service is 12/10. switching your whole system to another one is never easy, but Vagaro really helped make the transition smooth. The whole platform is pretty self explanatory, and the free trail really helped me make my decision.

Pros

The reports section is amazing. I really do like to see everything in one place! Also, if and when I have questions the customer service text box is the greatest thing ever! they are so quick to answer my questions and get me moving right along.

Cons

hmm, that's a tough one. I guess I have not came across something yet that has aggravated me enough to worry about.

Pros

I loved the trial month and was hooked. It is so easy to use. I love that my clients can schedule appointments when they need them. The appointment reminders have saved me time and money!! Clients are reminded of their appointments and my no-shows have dropped to nearly zero!

Cons

Setting up the types of services offered was what took me the longest to figure out. I wish I could adjust the time in the calender to only the times I set. I personally don't like seeing or scrolling down on my phone when the day is booked out.

Currently we have been able to streamline our scheduling and payments with Vagaro. Recently we integrated zoom so that we could work our way through the COVID-19 crisis. It was one of the best and easiest to use additions vagaro has added.

Pros

Vagaro is extremely easy to use I love how they truly listen to the customers and are constantly evolving their software. They have done and continue to do so much for small business. Amazing bang for your buck!

Cons

The only feature that I do not like about the software is the ability to past date payments. For example someone pays with a check and you do not input that payment the day of then you can not back date the payment date.

It was very easy to set up with excellent customer service. It is user friendly. they give excellent customer service.

Cons

difficult time card management for employees.they should improve their clock in capability for employees. It should be as easy as clicking "clock In/ out". however, you have to buy cards and the card scanner they sell.

Overall I am happy and would recommend it.

Pros

Vagrao gives me the tools to make running my business a lot easier. I can book appointments, take payments and keep up with my bookkeeping for taxes. It also allows clients to book on their own so I don't have to be called all the time. I love it and so do my clients.

Cons

There are a lot of features on Vargaro but everything costs more. I feel like there should be more package deals instead of nickel and diming each item.

I like vagaro because it is very easy to use. There are many other apps that you can use for free so that you can do many things for free but some functions are only available in this app which makes it more time-consuming. Vagaro is very important for the team because they can always use it to see and check their time.

Pros

Vagaro is the best application because you can free transfer all your data from any software for free. You can send more than 1000 emails per month for free. It also has many amazing features like online store marketing, payment process, and everything you need for product delivery, live stream, marketplace, forms, payments, calendar, online booking, etc.

Cons

I have no complaints about Vagaro, but I think their customer service could improve.

So far works great for our nail salon with 3 full-time employees and 2 part time employees. Everyone is staying on top of the schedule and its easy for employees and clients. There are so mani other report and dashboard you can run to be on track.

Pros

Easy to use, able to do online booking and scheduling for multiple artists at the time. Each artist views the most resent schedule and any last min cancelations.Easy check out.

Cons

I would love to see more customized features when sending a confirmation message, or reminders.

My exposure to Vagaro as a pharmaceutical product development and research intern was minimal because it had little to do with my line of work. But I was able to see how salon and spa companies used Vagaro in their daily operations. Client involvement was made easier and customer satisfaction increased because to Vagaro's client database and automated communication solutions. Although I just used Vagaro for observational purposes, my experience demonstrated how well the program can manage salon and spa operations.

Overall pleasant experience. I have the app on my phone, and it's often the first place I check when needing to schedule an appointment with a salon, acupuncturist, and so forth.

Pros

I can schedule appointments at any time, day or night, without having to block time in my calendar to make phone calls. I tend to get appointments in weeks earlier than I would otherwise due to the ease of use.

Cons

Finding the correct service provider could be more efficient. I often have to go into my previous appointments to locate a regularly used provider. It would be nice to have a "favorites" tab or something similar.

I used Vagaro for a couple years but got rid of it because of how often their site would crash or freeze. I gave it another try after years with a desktop software because I was looking for a cloud based booking company . It was catostrophic to my salon . They didn’t transfer most of what was promised ( that I paid for) . I spend 3 days transferring all of my own things ( services products etc) then when I ran my payroll was all calculated wrong by hundreds of dollars . No one could tell me why . If is impossible to get a hold of anyone to speak to when you need help and when how do finally they act like they could care less. The functionality and detail just is not there ,

Pros

It was very easy to use and figure out without and specific training . I also like the online booking features and website they give you.

Cons

There is no ability to void any transaction when a mistake is made . Also their customer service is awful . Also I was led to believe they had a time clock when in actuality their do not unless you make an additional purchase of cards and a swipe machine .

That I can’t set up 1099 as class instructors and some of the pricing set ups are extensive to learn and use.

Poor.

Pros

I didn’t like it. Just wasn’t up to par with any other systems I’ve used.

Cons

They were supposed to onboard all our information, that didn’t happen. Client appointments didn’t transfer. Well not all of them. None of our clients points transferred. Which many had earned a ton of points to use for money off later. Customer service is a webchat service that you wait forever for an answer. They need a phone line that has help immediately.

Overall, I enjoy Vagaro and think it is easy to navigate and user friendly.

Pros

Very self explanatory and you can easily navigate around the app, even for someone who is not tech savvy. Clients have told me it is very simple to book an appointment online as well, even better!

Cons

Sometimes Vagaro pro on mobile will take a while to load, or will lag. Sometimes it doesn't always save my information when products are updated.

Excellent experience! Confirmation calls, cancelation notifications, consent forms, and intake forms can be quite time consuming. Vagaro has automatic confirmation calls and the cancelation policies are automatically stated at time of booking. Consent and intake forms are sent via email to customers at time of booking so they can fill out and send right back. extremely efficient in time managment!

Pros

Easy to navigate, extremely friendly and helpful service!

Cons

Not being able to pull consent forms and intake forms from my previous Vagaro business account. It would be nice to be able to pull the forms and upload them into my current Vagaro business account so I wouldn't have to recreate the forms. Very time consuming.
