Poor.

Pros

I didn’t like it. Just wasn’t up to par with any other systems I’ve used.

Cons

They were supposed to onboard all our information, that didn’t happen. Client appointments didn’t transfer. Well not all of them. None of our clients points transferred. Which many had earned a ton of points to use for money off later. Customer service is a webchat service that you wait forever for an answer. They need a phone line that has help immediately.

Overall, I enjoy Vagaro and think it is easy to navigate and user friendly.

Pros

Very self explanatory and you can easily navigate around the app, even for someone who is not tech savvy. Clients have told me it is very simple to book an appointment online as well, even better!

Cons

Sometimes Vagaro pro on mobile will take a while to load, or will lag. Sometimes it doesn't always save my information when products are updated.

Excellent experience! Confirmation calls, cancelation notifications, consent forms, and intake forms can be quite time consuming. Vagaro has automatic confirmation calls and the cancelation policies are automatically stated at time of booking. Consent and intake forms are sent via email to customers at time of booking so they can fill out and send right back. extremely efficient in time managment!

Pros

Easy to navigate, extremely friendly and helpful service!

Cons

Not being able to pull consent forms and intake forms from my previous Vagaro business account. It would be nice to be able to pull the forms and upload them into my current Vagaro business account so I wouldn't have to recreate the forms. Very time consuming.

My experience has been positive so far but it does have some problems that need to be worked on so the system can be the best on the market Ever!

Pros

I love the fact that I can easily book a client and rebook a client. The calendar is set up very nicely and organized. I have used a lot of systems in the past and this one is the best I have used. I love that I can also easily move a client's appointment to a different day and time without cancelling and rescheduling it.

Cons

I do not like that the software has some problem when a client is searching (anytime) for a service in vagaro and my page does not show up because (anytime) doesn't mean (anytime) it means at that moment. Which is very frustrating because anytime should mean search anytime. With covid and hours changing that is causing us to lose business because our company is only by appointment. This needs to be fixed. I also do not like that you can't add time in for cleaning. With covid happening I should be able to have a time slot that is for cleaning 30 minutes so a client cannot book during that time. Another flaw.

I love Vagaro and have been using you guys for almost 10 years

Pros

I love that they take over as my receptionist. I don't have the means of hiring an extra person. Vagaro, does all the work. It always me to schedule all my appointment. Reminds my customers/clients of up coming appointments. Reports are easy to run, for my commission employees.

Cons

Online Scheduling. I know it works well for most people, but it does not work well for my company.

Excellent! Over the years I left Vagaro and tried 2 other booking systems but found them complicated. And one didn't have a phone app. So I'm sticking with Vagaro. Our clients love the ease of using the Vagaro phone app.

Ease of use for desktop and phone app. I also like how easy it is to do reports, especially payroll.

Cons

I hate when it goes down for a long period of time.

I live my business life on Vagaro. I love that it has an app for me to use and one for my guests to use. I always have my work schedule with me anywhere I go.

Pros

I love the online booking features, the ease of moving appointments, and how customizable it is. I have had Vagaro since the day I opened 9 years ago at the suggestion of a trusted friend who is also a salon owner. I have never regretted it.

Cons

There a few cons. The difference between how the app works on your phone, your Ipad and your laptop are all different. Some are easier than others.

Pros

I absolutely love this software because it takes alot of stress out of my day to day operation. It gives my customers the freedom they need to be independent and schedule at their on pace on their own time without having to get me on the phone to do it for them. I love the way I can pull up my reports to see how my money is looking as well as see where I can improve through their analytics. Vagaro has been especially helpful to me because it allows me to spend quality Time with my family without having to take time out on my leisure hours to handle customer questions and appointment requests because everything is already there such as appointment reminders, service history and costs! I love it !!!! I highly recommend to help keep your business organized and to give yourself a peace of mind.

Cons

I would like it if they had a text back feature for the clients that receive my text message campaigns. Sometime they text back the automated number and the message goes to oblivion and I never knew they were trying to reply. I think it would be helpful to at least have a message center.

Pros

Vagaro is very user-friendly. Features and functions can be learned and understood by novice computer users quickly. It truly is an all-in-one system that makes running our business easier because I don't need to worry that it will do its job correctly. The integrations are helpful and again make things easier for me as an owner. The website builder is awesome making changes is fast and error free.

Cons

I've had issues with the Gusto integration however, customer support has been fantastic in helping trouble shoot and am confident that we will correct the issue

Before we chose Vagaro we looked at several comparable systems but they did not have the complete package. One of the biggest selling points for us was the Pay Desk. This is the central point of running our business on a daily basis and has made managing our business easier

Not the best. Development is not designed for real business processes in the health and wellness industry. Explaining to customer service what issues are is NOT productive. Customer Service reps are NOT trained, but learn on the job, most calls are put on hold while CS rep confirms with experienced personel, sometimes as long as 15 min. Hold and wait times are extremely ong

Pkg use is not based on value, rather on total paid divided by # used Monthly subscription is not user friendly, 6 month subscription should ONLY renew every 6 months vs each month which confuses customer Emails should NOT be sent for every change to calendaring as sometimes rebooking, re re booking is needed and even though during rebooking I can select NOT to send to customer, Vagaro sends ANYWAY based on customer being signed up to ever receive email/text/sms. To compensate, the work around is customer are NEVER set up to receive emails or text or SMS and all confirmations are done manually via NON AUTOMATED text Package totals cannot be modified after purchase. Ex: Owner policy is late cancel (48 hr notice required) or no show is full charge to customer. If client cancels same day and another client wants that appt time, both have to be booked on the same day at the same time in order to reduce package by 1 for no show client and charge package (or credit card) for client that really came and used that time slot. Although the user interface is titled modify # of remaining in package, the change DOES NOT change number remaining it changes total of package and thus all appts are repriced by the software, confusing both the accountant and the customer No reporting or "view" of client visits and charges from client account Owner has to go to a separate function called reports, run transaction report (memorize when the client was at the shop..eg last 6 months) AND the repo

Their customer-service department seems to be filled with condescending 20 somethings who enjoy attempting to make users feel inadequate. The last 3 times I've had to call-in and ask a question or have voice a concern about the product, I've been spoken down to by someone half my age.

Pros

The calendar is easy and self explanatory. It seems easy to use Even for people with no computer experience . If you're still using pencil and paper , this is way better than that . Probably a great product for both renters. Clients like notification system.

Cons

If you've used any other salon softwares that are in a high performance category as far as reporting and/or user experience this will not suit your needs . It is very rudimentary in its performance . It does not allow for any customization in reports or in applications . Many features are archaic and need updating. The feature to logout users after a certain amount of time can't recognize the difference between idle and not idle so it will log you out and lose your work in the middle of a session . The "marketing" section is mediocre at best . IF you've already been running a computerized operation for 5 yrs or more, you will find the software completely inefficient . It does not save your work if you're in the middle of procedures when it logs out . It cannot tell the difference between tasks in progress and idleness . If you leave the program wide-open and it doesn't log anybody out automatically, then your separate users have no recognition within the system, Unless they individually and manually log themselves in-and-out every time . SO MANY SILLY TIME WASTING things that MUST be done manually every session. Yuck.

Pros

It is completely the most wide variety software for salon users to run your business. Between the clients getting the appointment reminders and keeping track of their appointments.. It is the easiest software with complete realtime actions.

Cons

NOTHING! If I have an issue with anything and suggestions they have actually work with all the users to change or add new features. Absolutely Love this App...

Extremely poor service. I was told that the technical team doesn't work during the weekends. Had the work anxiety as the app was not working and my clients couldn't sign in.

Pros

It's comparatively reasonable but horrible service.

Cons

App didn't work for 5 days. Lost income. No help from the management.

Because it was cheaper. Worst mistake. The customer service is okey but not very helpful. If app is not working and clients can't sign in, you are on your own .

We have had no problems so far with our Vagaro software. They have always been timely in helping us with problems we have with setting things up we have not used yet on our software.

Pros

The top things we like about the software is the ease of use, the simple face that we all can have our schedules in one place and we can all keep up with what each other has going on during the day. We also love the fact that we have the app on our phones so we have the ease of having our schedules no matter where we are during the day.

Cons

The one thing I feel like they could improve on is the way you reach a person for customer support.

Online booking features, Salon personnel management features, integrated social and email marketing tools

Cons

No 3rd party integration plugins for popular website CMS platforms such as Wordpress, no mobile responsive GUI for when online booking is integrated with salon websites outside of Vagaro. Vagaro forces you to build your website on their platform which is horrible compared to other solutions like Wordpress. They should get out of the website business and focus on enabling their customers to rather integrate their functionality into popular website platforms like Wordpress or other CMS solutions by developing plugin technology to leverage their customer data. Customers should easily be able to push the online booking from Vagaro through Wordpress and Vagaro's email marketing data through popular clients like Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc. This is not possible and their support site is full of bugs. They have a chat window on their main support page that constantly refreshes when you visit, so you can't even look anything up.

The Vagaro solution has really exceed our expectations, we needed a solution to schedule, update and follow up our consultants appointments and this tools has become a part of our day to day operations.

Pros

Excellent tool to book appointments online, very easy to use and implement. Saved us a lot of money increasing the efficiency from our consultants performance. Our \[sensitive content hidden\]receive confirmations and reminders, really supporting our business.

Cons

The main issue is the price, I believe it could be a little lower, they charge per user. A free version would be awesome!

### "Why I Love Vagaro Just As Much As You will"

I have had an amazing experience with Vagaro. It keeps my clients and I on perfect track with everything. From pricing, services detailed description's, and appointment confirmations. Vagaro makes it a bit easier for clients that prefer to not communicate back and fourth to figure out what time and date works best for one another. It also benefits clients so they do not feel intimidated and they could book straight through my link in my bio.

Pros

The features that are most impactful would have to be calendar and notifications. This software is very easy to navigate through and submit all the information/description for you clients access when booking. Clear communication is key and Vagaro software does exactly that. Integration flows great with other social medias and products allowing majority of them compatible.

Cons

Least favorite thing about software would only be is that at times it does get a bit glitchy, but that is about it.

### "Exactly what our salon has been looking for!"

Overall, Vagaro has saved me so much time as the salon coordinator. It has made things that used to be tedious, time-consuming, and ineffective so simplified. Our out-dated system had limited options on many things. The auto-texting for reminder's (previously we did all reminders by calling clients) saved out life. It has saved us on no-show appts, clients showing up at wrong times, etc. We have even saved $ on the amount of appt cards we use because client's just want the text message instead of a physical card.

Pros

SO USER FRIENDLY! Our stylist's were so intimidated by getting a new software, especially after using the same, outdated one for over 15 + years. Many of them aren't the most tech-savvy individuals, but it took hardly any time at all the train them on the system. They LOVE having the ability to see their schedules from the personal smart phone/ tablet when they aren't at work. Our client's LOVE their texting reminders.

Cons

One of the main things I do wish were able to be customized would be on the daily ticket sheets we print each day. I would like to edit the amount of history for each client that is shown so that multiple pages do not print out for each client. The font is small and so i have to print it to be larger and then it ends up printing multiple unnecessary pages out.

### "Exactly what I was looking for"

Before Vagaro, we had one system for point of sale, one system for booking and a third for customer information management. We wanted a system that would do all of that and move our business to the next level. Vagaro was the answer to that, bar none. To have everything in one software package eliminates errors we were making when entering in things in multiple places previously. The reporting is top notch and the ability to access everything remotely from our phones and see appointments and transactions in real-time is a great benefit.

Pros

We were looking for one single system that could do everything for our business. Point of sale, booking, inventory, online booking, excellent reporting, custom forms, email/text marketing, etc. Vagaro has it all. It's one complete package that we can access remotely and via our phones at any time.

Cons

While this software was made mostly for Salons with numerous Stylists (Service Providers), it took a big of tweaking and being creative when setting it up for us. With us being a Sauna Studio, clients don't book people, they book actual rooms. There was a little bit of a learning curve on how to set that up properly but it works brilliantly now. I wish there was a little more customization on some deep settings, but all in all, I can't complain at all.
