### "Vagaro is still my go to!"

Pros

It's actually quite easy to use, and if you have a question, someone always seems to be available through phone support to walk you through it. The reports on services done, and average cost, client retention, etc is also pretty cool to have. My clients that don't pre-book their appointments find it easy to book online as well, I can approve or reject the appointments as I see fit, and of course the reminders for your clients! Emails and text messages. No show/missed appointment rates are much lower because of this feature, you can choose to send a few reminders!

Cons

Cost for me is huge. 420$/year to have your appointment book digitalized.... I considered switching to a new booking system, as my debit machine company offers one free online appointment booking, but I really like vagaro and would hate to lose all of my detailed reports. I wish you could just pay a one time software fee, or a yearly membership at a reduced rate.

It's gotten the Job done not much but I've been satisfied.

Pros

User-friendly interface with Customizable online booking. It Integrates with various payment methods and Automated appointment reminders with Detailed reporting and analytics. Mobile app for on-the-go management it has the Option for online gift card sales

Cons

Limited integration options with other business tools. With Additional fees for certain features. Some users report customer service responsiveness and technical support to be lacking. Limited customization options with Some features may be unnecessary for some businesses.It's worth noting that these are general pros and cons, and the specific benefits and drawbacks of using Vagaro will depend on the needs and preferences of your business.

Vagaro has been good to me. from the system to the customer service.

Pros

I love all that Vagaro has to offer its literally everything you need to run a business whether you're a small business just starting or a large company you can do it all with this booking site.

Cons

honestly the only thing I don't like about Vagaro is how expensive it is. were charged for eveeryyy thing from using the payment system, the monthly fee to have the service, every single upgrade within the system, I don't see any perks.

AMAZING! I wouldn't trade it for any other one. I tried multiple apps before this & they were very pricey for the same thing Vagaro has to offer for an even lower price (:

The staff is super friendly, easy to use after you explore the app for a few days to a week, great price for what all you get, & how you can literally customize the app to your own liking!! JUST TRY IT OUT! You will NOT regret it!!

The financial tracking and break downs are very simple and easy.

Pros

I really love that with this software, everything is pretty much in one place. The POS is relatively easy to use and I havent had many issues at all. The customization adds a nice flair as well.

Cons

There are only TWO things that come to mind. 1. I wish I could set certain days through out the month and not necessarily certain weekly hours. I am a part time worker and I work a random three days every week. My clients are not allowed to book through the online part because I cant pick the days I will be available without it being a reoccurring weekly schedule. If it is, I havent figured it out and would love to know how to do so! 2. Fridays/ weekends it takes FOREVER to get my transfer into my bank. Its very frustrating at times due to the fact that I am a very small business and don't have large transactions frequently.

My coworker uses it and she told me that it made doing her taxes easier to accomplish without the stress and that is right up my ally!

I love how they regularly update with new features. I also bought the double screen computer and gives the front desk an upscale look.

Cons

Unfortunately the one thing I don't like is that they still charge u a chargeback fee of $20 even if chargeback are resolved with customer directly

I used Vagaro for over 2 years and then when my spa made the leap from day spa to medical spa, I had to find a software that offered virtual charts, and I had to cancel :( Well, 7 months later, I AM BACK! This has been the best software. So I am now paying for 2 software systems and that SUCKS! But Vagaro has such an incredible interface, the online booking, the marketing, everything makes life easier. I look forward to the day VAGARO adds virtual charting and then this will be a one stop shop and I can drop the charting system that I will not name, but HATE using.

Pros

Hands down the most USER friendly for providers and clients

Cons

doesn't offer virtual charting PLEASE ADD VIRTUAL CHARTING

The layout, user friendly, easy marketing, easy point of sale, everything is just amazing. Having to leave Vagaro to find a charting system was hard, and as soon as I switched I instantly hated it, stuck it out for 7 months, and now I'm back! (( please please add virtually charting))

Poor. Not recommended. Customer service was not responsive until they were reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Pros

Initially easy to use. I thought it would be all inclusive as they market but this was not the case.

Cons

I purchased the website builder. The designer reached out immediately with an automated questionnaire. Then crickets. 3 weeks later still no response to customer service. I went back and forth several times and then designed it myself. The website designer changed the front page and then became despondent again. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Bottom line is I was not refunded for the money I spent on the website they never produced. I recommend GoDaddy. They are professional and have great service. MyAesthetics Pro offers better integrated services than Vagaro.

F'n fantastic! Literally got my business up and running for me. With out it I dont know that I would have been able to put all the pieces together.

Pros

The ease of integration of Facebook and instagram were very nice. The thing I liked the most was the reliability of the product to do what it says its going to do. I found it very easy to configure, check out, schedule customers is very easy!

Cons

The menu system between the Account Settings and the Business account settings confused me a bit aft first. I'd also like to see the Merchant account options under the main calendar settings page.

### "Important busy time of year? Prepare for the system to crash"

I liked that my clients could clearly see our day to day schedule

Cons

Vagaro has crashed on me during not only just one or two busy times of year but this past year was around Easter, Mothers Day, Local Graduations, multiple times during Back to School rush, Thanksgiving, and now the week before Christmas. How freaking cool to have 20-30 calls where you can't book, can't check someone out, run a credit card, and loose business. Because whenever I've needed this site to work I've lost business due to them. Once the new year is here I'm leaving this company and never looking back. When I originally signed up it was $45 a month for me and my staff. Now with the same staff and their add ons they love to do and update basically weekly is now $65. It would be great if the site actually worked when it was most needed.

Hello Tim, The increase in your monthly bill is due to two factors - the first being that you added an employee to your account at $10/month, and the second being a $10 fee which applies to the use of the credit card capture feature that now requires the online shopping cart to be enabled. Vagaro has not raised its subscription fee since we came to market 10 years ago, and we pride ourselves on the value our product delivers to customers when comparing the features and functionality of the software to its price point. With regard to your comment on service outages - our engineering team have prioritized the security, stability and reliability of our network, following an unfortunate string of incidents which resulted in temporary service degradation. ### "Work Smarter, Not Harder!"

My growing home-based nail business was using text message to book hundreds of clients. Switching to automated online booking was THE BEST BUSINESS DECISION I have ever made! It saves me from answering 600+ texts/week at all hours of the day/night so I can better focus my time and energy to providing a quality nail service. Automated booking removes the human errors of miscommunication and mistakes while providing each client ownership of their appointment, thus reducing no-shows. VAGARO online booking was a smooth transition and the App's simple user interface has made clients confident to book/rebook/cancel appointments any hour of the day. Clients can see all available appointments and compare against their schedule, as well as receive reminder emails that could include pertinent details, such as where to park or methods of accepted payment. I searched online and at beauty conventions for the perfect online booking system that could grow with my business needs, and VAGARO is the best value and service available on the market. It was a catalyst to my business development and the very definition of learning how to work smarter, not harder.

Pros

\-so far, EVERYTHING! -incredibly easy transition of hundreds of clients over the span of a month; the app is user friendly and self-explanatory -clients of all ages and backgrounds have eagerly accepted the integration of automated booking -easy to book off personal days without clients privy to days off -easy to edit all aspects of the business (clients, hours of operation, services, etc) -no major software bugs; my business operations have never been hampered by software glitches

Cons

After using this software for almost 1 year, I still haven't taken the time yet to explore the fullest capabilities of the software. However, I'm hoping it will be compatible with my Canadian Moneris account in respect to accounting and reporting through the client database and service totals, especially as I add staff to my growing business and move into a management role. The Vagaro name took a while for clients to adapt to - we still don't know how to properly pronounce it!

What attracted me to Vagaro was the fact that my clients could have their own booking app. It was the convince for clients and less stress for me. I use Vagaro Multiple times per day from my phone mainly. I like the fact that it is very cell phone friendly since my laptop broke. I love the compliments I receive from my clients because the ease of use and all the information I can provide to better prepare clients for their appointments.

Pros

I am a hairstylist and new business owner with no knowledge of running a business. Vagaro's features gave me insight on things I can add to my business to help me grow. I have been using Vagaro for 2 years now and I wouldn't use any other booking site!

Cons

I didn't like that every thing is an add on price but I guess that's how to keep business growing however this is not a deal breaker for me. With the growth of my business I am able to afford more features offered by Vagaro

The biggest advantage I have noticed is the ease of running multiple locations using one software. While on the phone with a customer it is very simple to check multiple locations for availability. Which secures more appointments than ever before.

Pros

The ease of creating appointments in the office or on the go is a game changer. The ability for each of my therapists to manage their own schedule has taken more off my plate. The reason I chose Vagaro was that it had everything I needed in one scheduling software. Noother scheduling software that I found had what I needed.

Cons

I would like to have the option to use Square as my payment processor. I would like better integrations with email marketing companies, so I can make my email marketing campaign branded and more customizable. I would really like to have the capability to ask for a tip from those paying $0 or using a Gift card or credit through the COVID clean checkout. I would like to have preset tip amounts vs preset percentages at checkout as an option for specific services.

### "Impressive software with all the features"

I switched from Booker paying much more monthly with less features and very poor customer service. I am really pleased with vagaro

Pros

There are many features that vagaro has already included in the software that I love, the automated reminders, touch free checkout, etc... I really love also that the customer support is responsive and listens to suggestions for new features as well as responding quickly

Cons

I don't like that I get logged out of my system throughout the day, it's a minor nuisance and I'm sure necessary for security in more open spa situations

Every since your last update in June of 2016 your program has not worked properly! Very very disappointed. For the price you charge.. it's defiantly not worth it. =(

Confirmations text do not work half the time. Services seem to go missing. The program doesn't always send of the confirmation texts. Clients click the confirmation link on their end... but does not show up on the computer. Sometimes when booking a client.. the program will book the client every single day throughout the whole schedule to the end of time... the only way to fix it.. is to reboot the program. Occasionally the program will send out text after text to the same clients notifying them that they have an appointment. One of my clients received 14 text right after another. Talk about being a pain in the butt. The Do Not Notify client tab does not work. When changing a clients appointment around... there is a choice to notify the client or do not notify client. This function dos not work. It always notifies the client either way. When choosing to No Show a client.. it shows up the almost the same color as the booking color, very difficult to see the difference. It should be a totally different color not associated with the booking color. The Red and Orange is almost the same shade. Maybe No shows should have a black strip.. just a suggestion. Beware that Vagaro fees are in USD funds.. NOT CANADIAN. FYI... Since the last June update, I have had to contact customer support DAILY! sometimes twice a day! UGH'''' Vagaro seems to go offline a few times a month, such an inconvenience. Their updates are done in the middle of a work day. =(

Our first Pay Desk would freeze and run slowly, vagaro sent us a second Pay Desk which is no different than the first. We have to close the Vagaro app or restart the entire Pay Desk multiple times each day. Other software options appear to be more user-friendly, better developed and that have better features. For the cost, Vagaro does not feel worth it. Make sure you fully explore Vagaro during any trial period to make sure it fits your needs before fully committing to it.

Pros

• Notes categories & forms/releases are easily added and edited

Cons

• Automated gratuity percentages do not include the cost of services zeroed out with packages or memberships. For example, during checkout for a client with a monthly membership who got an airbrush tan (worth $40.00) + a $3.00 add on service, the 20% tip the client can select results in the tan tech getting a $0.60 tip. There is no option to only have clients input a custom tip. You must select at least one Vagaro preset percentage or not have a tip option at all. For employees who do not receive a part of monthly member fees, this GREATLY affects income. • The Vagaro Pay Desk frequently freezes and runs incredibly slowly. • There are not individual web links available through which clients can directly book with a specific service provider (Only links to the business’s general booking page where a provider must be selected)
