Very frustrating. Schedulicity was so much better.I had used Schedulicity for almost 20 years, I believe, and was very happy.

Pros

The option to charge clients if they cancel within a specific time frame. Also booking recurring appointments for an entire year is very easy .

Cons

Almost everything. I was forced to switch from Schedulicity. Everything is way more complicated on my end and the clients end. The amount of clicks needed to checkout an appointment is ridiculous , it takes so much longer, they dont give you a dollar amount up front for the upcoming week, you have to dig deep to get it. I won't get my money deposited until almost noon the next day! And I cant see the amount being deposited once its in process. My clients are connstantly textimg me because something isn't working when trying to book online. It lets people book outside my hours when cleanup time is added to an appointment. There are so many things, these are just a few.

I like a lot of the features. Ease of use with the checkout. The systems support needs work. The people are great with support but it kicks me out of the chat when I go through different pages and I have to restart sometimes

Pros

It’s easy to navigate for checkout but the back end of stuff feels disorganized and confusing. The features like business cost is nice

Cons

The reports and settings and how things are in multiple places is difficult. Like I should be able to view all members on one page to edit the membership and not go into each individual customer

It helped me grow my business by being affordable and accessible. It’s easy to use, the customer service is excellent, and the price point makes the glitches tolerable

Pros

Customer support is unmatched. Always friendly. Always helpful. And the price is great. I also like that it has an email function to send letters out

Cons

The client experience is clunky. It’s not easy for them to cancel and sessions often get lost in the cart. The hard part is if I try to fix it on the biz end, Vagaro needs the client to call. I’m not having my clients call the software company… Also, not being able to manage the auto emails they send to clients. Like asking for reviews. I should be able to control that.

Very good. The transition was definitely made easy for me. I was dreading importing my old info myself. And editing/updating it all has been an easy to continue.

Pros

I love how easy vagaro makes it to switch. Someone walks you through options and features. As well as they transfer your prior clients/services/etc from your prior system for you.

Cons

I don’t think I haven’t anything I don’t like yet. I haven’t used all of the features in the past month. It’s more than my last system had. So I’m still kind of learning. But it’s not too difficult. And there is customer service for what I can’t quite figure out on my own.

Absolutely incredible! As a first time business owner, Vagaro has been Indispensable for me. There are so many valuable reports to help keep your business on track. It is easy to navigate

Pros

The customer support is phenomenal!! I cannot stress this enough. The onboarding is professional and really helps a new customer navigate the site with ease. Although the site itself is super intuitive, there are some great tips, tricks and resources available in any one on one session you may need for your business. The online booking is a breeze. Even my clients in their advanced years have been able to book services seemlessly. And as far as client management is concerned, it’s easy to query information and statistics that help to grow your business. Scheduling and appointment management is a breeze! I love that using Vagaro on your phone is easier than in a tablet or traditional desktop computer. I don’t use the shift management options.

Cons

The inventory can be clunky. I wish there was a way to merge products if they have been duplicated. Also I’d like an easier way to subtract products. Sometimes the count is incorrect and when I go back to amend it it doesn’t have a toggle for mistaken count.

### "All in one "

I love having a system that fits all of my needs. It is hippa compliant, easy to use, and has every option I need.

Pros

I’ve been using Vagaro for over 6 years. The customer support is amazing and they follow up with you and go over your help request. When I first started I used it solely on my own, but now I have multiple independent contractors that use it under my account and they are able to generate their reports and schedule clients for themselves.

Cons

My only concern is the limited amount of texts and emails in the purchased packages. It goes fast when you have a special or daily deal that you want to share. One other thing is the very high cost of the lines of credit (loans) that they offer thru Liberis. I am glad they exist, but it is extremely expensive.

My overall experience is good because I definitely needed to get out of Booksey. The price is slightly cheaper as well. I haven’t gained any new clients that are Vagaro clients so I am still waiting for that.

Pros

The thing I like most about Vagaro is that when I needed to change from Booksey, they transferred over all of my clients. And notified my clients.

Cons

Some clients can’t book because they’re not being able to login. Some clients say that they can’t leave a review so I don’t know what that’s about. But at least vagaro doesn’t just take a percentage of my money from clients.

Overall it’s a good app and I don’t plan to use another one no time soon. Vagaro has helped us gain a few customers with online booking

Pros

Online scheduling and booking appointments are all chef kiss. Customer support handles your questions very efficiently.

Cons

The app needs to be updated a lot to the newer versions. It sometimes lags depending on the version you have.

The convenience for both myself and my clients. Everything you need for your finances, services, follow ups, reminders and user friendly.

Only when there is a glitch in the system and you're trying to check ppl out or book appointments can be frustrating

Overall, I am glad I made the switch to Vagaro and I can have everything I desire on one website. Vagaro gives me and my clients options. I love it. It is almost like I design it myself.

Pros

I love the options that I have with Vagaro. Vagaro is the combination of other systems into one system. I can send invoices with all of my info on them. One setup and everything you need and desire is there.

Cons

Vagaro does have a learning curve but it is worth it. There are not many cons with Vagaro that I can see right now. I have been using it for two months consistently.

I was automatically signed up after Vagaro acquired Schedulicity and I find it’s definitely more complex to use but I am getting used to it and enjoying all of the new features.

Pros

The customer support experience has been amazing. I call all the time to get help and everyone I have spoken with is lovely and knowable.

Cons

There’s a lot of information and sometimes it doesn’t feel super user friendly to find the pathway to do something I haven’t done before. My clients seems to have more difficulty than with Schedulicity, the site I used before it was acquired by Vagaro.

It has been wonderful. The check out process is fairly easy as well as booking Cilents for their appointments.

Pros

It allows me to have more than one profile for service providers. This is extremely important to growing our business

Cons

1\. It does not come with national holidays already incorporated in the calendar. 2. I would like the contactless option for all Cilents 3. It’s confusing how the Cilent has to sign before providing a card to process.

Overall good at and easy to use once you get the hang of all the features with great capabilities and customer service.

Pros

Overall, I Vagaro is amazing. To have email marketing, point of sale system, booking, no fees on transactions, and 24 hr assistance is valuable. Customer support is always helpful.

Cons

The reason I give it a 4 star is that there are no 40 minute options for a service. It can't be that hard to add that as an option. It would tremendously help out my business and the way barbers work with their clients. 30 minutes too short and 45 too long and messes up booking by creating less availability throughout the day. I ask at least monthly for this to happen. Please change this as this would be the only reason I depart from Vagaro.

### "5 years on Vagaro and counting!"

I always recommend vagaro to anyone starting out their own business or is salon or beauty based. It’s an easy way to track number and clients which I do love about the app.

Pros

I’ve been with vagaro since I started my business 5 years ago. Everyday I learn something new using vagaro and it’s easy to use tool. And it’s super easy for my clients to book online. I can block off my schedule or add service providers to my books. The system is friendly for almost anyone! It facilitates my life 90% without me having to worry about always booking or taking deposits manually.

Cons

I don’t have much I don’t like about it , sometimes I do feel like the pricing is a little high for some of the special features as a small business who’s income is based solely on booking. I do wish it had maybe features that helped get more local leads.

I love the extensive records that I can access for clients and for business. It keeps track of everything, it’s all available right at your finger tips. I started with Vagaro and then thought about switching to something cheaper but I hated it and quickly went back to using Vagaro.

Pros

I love the ease of scheduling. I not only use it for my work schedule, I also use it for personal scheduling too. I have never had any issue with using Vagaro.

Cons

I don’t really have any cons. I’ve enjoyed using Vagaro. It’s super easy for me and for clients booking online.

My experience has been really great! That means alot because I’m not very computer savvy. A lot of the options I can figure out on my own because it’s self explanatory but if I had trouble customer service walked me through it

Pros

I love that you can call and talk to knowledgeable techs in the customer service department the best. I find the website very easy to navigate and it offers everything you need to operate your business

Cons

Sometimes there is glitches in the software or slow operation, I don’t use the payment processor available because it seemed deposits were slightly delayed I think because of the west coast east coast time difference

I own a day spa and Vagaro has been great for us! Very affordable and offers lots of services. I especially love having my website through Vagaro! It was easy to design and is easy to modify when needed

Cons

I wish there was an easier way to move a client who has booked multiple appointments (example: underarm wax, bikini wax, leg wax) to another appointment time without having to move each individual appointment

Customer support is easy and accessible whenever I need them. Easy to use, online booking is nice and easy as well. Scheduling is easy to manage.

Cons

Wish clients could book easier, wish they did not remove the booking percentage where you can control how much booking you want to be displayed to clients. Wish when you activate forms it came with file uptown without having to pay extra for clients to send pictures through form.

it's functional enough not to encourage me to seek a different software, definitely room for improvement like with anything

Pricing compared to other platforms, HIPAA compliant, easy to navigate, easy to get a hold of support staff

Cons

One main issue is the marketing email "queue", if I want to pre plan an email campaign, odds are it won't go out at the time specified. I would also like to see more customizable booking options e.g. deposits on specific appointments above a certain dollar amount, (not deposits or no deposits), restrict the amount of specific service appointments booked by number per day or week or month e.g. only book 10 massages per week, only book 3 facials per day etc

Overall it’s very Easy to use on my end ,convenient for my clients ,very user friendly and priced fairly

Pros

I like that my Clients don’t need to have the app as well so makes it more convenient for them especially my senior clients

Cons

I don’t like that the app Lags a lot and force closes on me. Sometimes the date at the top will not match the actual calendar date

### "Very disappointing."

We really expected a lot of great things from Vagaro however the biggest complaint was due to the programs speed, (line-ups at the frontdesk waiting for screens to load) and not being able to "quickly" view a "full" receipt from a single client appointment.

Pros

Originally we liked the price and the online booking module. Also the look of the calendar. Customer support was quick and the support staff always very friendly and helpful.

Cons

Online program is very slow (line ups at front desk due to waiting on software pages to load. nothing to do with computer or internet speeds). Also crashed multiple times, especially when creating new appointments and changing pricing or service times. Beware... we had to get their free card reader for salon staff to clock in and out. We only subscribed to the program for 1 month. Upon cancelling our subscription we were charged and additional $140 (free card reader fee) I was told due to an early cancellation. Funny, I thought we could quit anytime. Apparently we found out we had to be with them for 1 year before you keep the card reader. They would not accept the reader and refund the fee if we returned it. The card reader is only listed as $69 new on shopify. Also, You can't see a report with the receipt total from a clients service. It can only be viewed as individual transactions. There are so many other problems to list. We switched to Mangomint only after using Vagaro for 1 month. Previous to this we've used Daysmart for the past 13 years and would have stayed however we needed a better platform for online booking. I would advise staying away from Vagaro. Mangomint has been spectacular.

Im very happy with Vagaro. From the ease of booking both from my phone and clients online at their convenience all the way to their support when i had questions.

Pros

Convenient booking, helpful live person customer service, helpful text support, easy to navigate the app, i feel like its well worth the money. I love that i can take the card reader to off site jobs.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a couple tries to connect to the card reader but that's due to the wifi not the reader itself

Pros

Easy to use and very manageable. My clients love it better than the site I was previously using and that makes me happy.

Cons

There is absolutely no cons that possibly come to mind when I think of vagaro. I am so happy with the switch.

Been using it for 10+yrs and have Mostly good experience with it. Only a couple times that the system went down and wasn’t able to access my clients info.

Pros

Easy to use, user friendly. Can keep all of my clients stuff organized in one spot. There are many features to use on it.

Cons

If Vagaros system goes down I can’t access my clients stuff therefore I am Unable to work. It has thankfully only happened a few times.

Pros

Cons

In general I have no complaints. I do wish the cost of mass text messages was more affordable for small scale messages.
