It is user friendly for both myself and my clients. Excited about a lot of the features, I am not even using them all yet! Pros The price to quality ratio is un-beatable. I used to use MindBody for 5 years and the customer service was terrible, software difficult to use and understand, as well as very expensive. Also, the last straw was them doubling my rate in January of 2020 without any warning. Vagaro is a much better product for a fraction of the price, how much better could it get. Also, the merchant processing has been nothing but good so far. Thanks VAGARO! Cons I do wish you could suspend memberships temporarily. That is the only downfall I have found so far in the software. Before moving to my last salon I looked and changing to the square appointments since I use square for credit card processing and they do not compare. They had less features and were not as easy to use for more money. I'm staying with vagaro. The customer service is also excellent. They are quick to respond to questions through email and I always get a person when I call the customer service number. Pros You and your clients have an app to use anywhere, anytime. It helps those clients that think about getting their hair done at random hours when I am not available to schedule for them. It sends reminders automatically which dramatically decreases no shows. It is very affordable for our little office and the customer service has been excellent so far. Pros I love how easy it is to use. I love all the features especially how it send a text to confirm appointments directly and immediately after booking the appointment , and our clients have loved it as well. Cons At our office we sell Botox as one of our main services , and so far we have charged per unit and not per area. i would really like it if this was possible to build us a custom service where we can calculate and charge for this service the same way we currently are per unit and not areas treated. I don't like all of the changes that they make to the appearance all the time. I need to come in each day and know what I'm facing. The people that you speak to for help can be a touch slow to understand my needs as someone who works for a regulated profession, but they've always helped me in the end. I'd prefer that future versions focused more on function and less on appearance. Pros I like the app for when I'm away from the office. I find booking cancelling and adding personal time easy. It is dependable and never down. Cons I'm not certain why, but many clients seem to have a hard time booking appointments for themselves, so I have to help them. I think it should display the times that are not available and grey them out. Software times out too quickly and I can't find where to adjust this. Too much tinkering with appearance. Don't need to call the service center hardly ever which is also amazing. I'm so happy I found Vagaro, I'm extremely satisfied with all their features and reliability, and would recommend it to anyone in the business. Pros Vagaro is a reliable system full of useful features that helps me run my business. Built in forms, email marketing, sms reminders, and more make everything easier. I've used similar software at other jobs previously, and Vagaro is hands down my favorite. They also have an amazing merchant system with good rates and quick deposits. Varago simply works, and works well. Cons I would like to see slightly faster loading speeds from time to time. Also would like to see improvements to the built-in website scheduling widget so the client doesn't have to leave our website. Didn't work the best for our Squarespace website for some reason as well as the pop-up booking widget. I was able to efficiently schedule appointments, manage both my client list and staff, and even create promotions and special offers to attract more clients. Cons I would like Vagaro to have more extensive integration with other platforms or marketing tools, such as Mailchimp or customer loyalty systems. It would be very beneficial to be able to handle these functions within the same platform, instead of having to use different services per separate.
