There are many features to use on it. Cons If Vagaros system goes down I can’t access my clients stuff therefore I am Unable to work. It has thankfully only happened a few times. Customer service was amazing with any and all questions I had. There was no sales pressure. Vagaro had everything I needed in one app which was important to me. It’s not only easy for me to use but also super easy for my clients to use and make or reschedule appointments. Pros Super easy to use. Forms, booking and payments all in one app and I love that. My clients always say how easy it is to book on Vagaro. Also, when I thinking of using Vagaro, customer service was amazing. I got so much help without the sales pressure. Cons I’m just a one person shop so I have no issues and it does what I need. April 20, 2026 5.0 Amazing! I’ve had little hiccups here’s and there but it’s been the best booking app that I’ve ever used! Pros I really love how easy and salon/business friendly Vagaro is to use! It truly has all the bells and whistles that an esthetician needs for her business. Client management and customer support has never been better! It truly is worth the money! Cons Just that we don’t have the option to close a day for specific weeks. It gives us the option to select hours but not close the day. So we have to block it off completely. But it’s not a big deal and there’s ways around it. I am about to complete my setup for two different companies under one login, on one platform, streamlined with Vagaro's payment processing. Pros What I like most as a business owner is the value for money. While most other platforms charge large fees, Vagaro does not. Their customer support is amazing! While most other EMR customer support teams struggled to understand the obligations I have regarding patient care, they were more than willing to reschedule appointments. Their system's ease of use is beyond comparison. I struggled setting up my own webspace with other products, but their University and help videos, as well as other features such as their payment processing, API, and other technical items, helped save time. So, for $23.99, I get a base plan, but I can add on and delete as my company's needs change! Most of their add-ons are just $10.00. I can use the domain that I have already purchased. Their widgets and links, as well as the software's look and feel, are very professional. They have helped me to create a trusted and branded look and feel for my services and products! Cons Nothing. I have not encountered anything that they aren't willing to work on or help me with. I asked that they help me set up SOAP notes, and they were more than willing to walk me through "another" FREE tutorial class! Pros Scheduling and appointment management are the best features of this platform. As a new booth owner, I’ve been able to start slowly which has meant frequent changes to my daily schedule. It’s so easy to block of times throughout the day or week. Additionally, my customers love that they can change their time quickly online and also that they receive quick reminders. The value for the money is on top so I can start my business without having huge expenses for an online booking platform. Cons I’ve had some challenges using the EMV reader and pairing it on my phone every day. Although I think it’s worked out now, it’s been a challenge. Customer support is always available and thorough in helping whenneeded. Cons I wish it had the ability to set up KPI'S for goals. I also don't like the new way of character counting for text message promotions. I also love the ease of it all. We tend to overthink the app but really, if you look at it as "what is it that is so easy for me today" you can see that everything has been thought out well for you. Cons There is nothing I dislike! Everything is there for me, ready to use and no overthinking anymore! It's like they know what I need. No one rings my cell phone during dinner either, which is great. Using Stripe for payment processing makes sense too, so I don’t have to constantly be chasing after my clients for their money. Pros It didn’t delete all of my appointments for Tuesdays like it did when I was using my previous application. My clients can now log into their own scheduling account to book their own hair or massage sessions, rather than call me every minute of every hour of the day. And to date, the mobile app has not crashed on me which is kind of freakishly amazing. Cons However exporting your data from the system is a complete pain. If you attempt to export more than 3 weeks worth of records, it will freeze up your entire screen. Why is customizing so difficult? Pros I like the new update for the home page, it has helpful information. Also I like how easy it is for clients to book. Almost every new client tells me they’re happy I’m on vagaro. Some even find me on here and I love that. Cons Charging for each thing we want to upgrade. Maybe there should have a bundled pricing for a few upgrades you have available. Cons The main drawback is that the app can not work at times, and certain features like the waitlist could be easier to use. Occasional glitches make managing my schedule a bit frustrating.
