Pros: Invoices and customer notifications are quite impressive and make for good business transactions. Gets everyone on same page.

Cons: Doesn't track mileage or drive time once omw is activated. Also possibly a notifications or reminder to press start job when arriving

Pros: I liked being able to call and schedule an appointment with this software. I found that it was easy to do. And easy for a beginner or company who is starting with a service like this.

Cons: I didn't see many options that we didn¿t like about this program. But, if I had to point one out it would be that as other users stated that your can't see the history seamlessly. Being able to see the previous work done is beneficial to hvac business.

Pros: Before switching over from pen and paper to take down notes for our AC calls, we were not very organized. As soon as we started using this software it is so simple to find customers and create bills for them as well.

Cons: A built in copy and past feature may be beneficial for the times when customers move and we need to copy over their old address or information that has stayed the same.

Overall: Wonderful software!

Pros: Simplicity, dashboard invoicing. The customer communications is especially nice! Tracking work is much easier

Cons: I can only have 6 users month which is expensive but to allow unlimited users for a month just is nuts!

The customer support is excellent. I can't say enough about this program and the team!

Cons: Would like monthly statements. I like the invoices, but for clients I see several times a month. A statement would be a better alternative,

Pros: Scheduling and invoicing jobs, automatic text reminders to employees and customers about upcoming work, email and postcard follow up with customers, Online booking for website and FB pages, invoice tracking, earnings tracking, etc, etc, etc, all kinds of tracking. HouseCall Pro customer service is fantastic. Ease of use. There's almost zero learning curve. You just dive right in and start using it! And if you can't figure out something, help is generally only seconds away, at the most a few minutes. And they speak real English, not Geekspeak! They have a great Facebook group. I've learned so much about business tips and strategies from other members all over the country it's unbelievable. It's like I've been introduced to a whole group of people who share the same struggles in operating a business and everybody on the group helps everybody else. HouseCall Pro is always adding more improvements and integrations with other services. The people at HouseCall Pro listen to their members and are constantly making it better and better. I own a plumbing business and have invested in hundreds of great tools for doing my work, but I'd have to say HouseCall Pro is the best tool I've ever invested in. For the first time, I'm in control of and working on my business. It no longer controls me. I've added one new truck and service tech this year and looking at an additional cost at least, in receipts this year. Couldn't have done it without HouseCall Pro.

Cons: I really can't think of anything. I really can't thing of anything. I really can't think of anything.

Housecall Pro is a great tool for scheduling clients. It makes it convenient for us and the client.

Pros: I like being able to schedule a call, doing an invoice, and receiving payment all within one app. HCP also has great and interactive customer service.

Cons: It's not HCP's fault, but I wish quickbooks would transfer over past receipts instead of just invoices. To see a customers history I have to go to another app to see their history if we wrote them a receipt instead of an invoice.

Great product, saves us so much time. People always ask us what app we use and how great it is.

Pros: What I like most about the software is - Stores customer info and past history. Sends customers notifications IE on the way, invoice etc.

Cons: Here is a con - Freezes sometimes, if switching apps back and forth on the phone when entering in new customer information - IE switching from sms to hcp. Other than that no issues.

This software has enable me work smarter instead of harder!!! Love it!

Pros: Everything my techs need in the field is just a click away! Everything I need is right in front of me, all the time!

Cons: I still have so much to learn!! That's a good thing! The software does so much more than I was expecting!

Pros: The overall ease of use is great. My customers love the on my way notifications and are generally impressed with it. The support is above and beyond. I have never had a problem getting any help. The support staff's dedication to responding to people is nothing shy of amazing.

Cons: The thing idle least is the lack of ability to add multiple cell numbers with custom names. This is a severe shortcoming of HCP. Also, the calendar isn't nearly as responsive to scroll through as I calendar is.

Pros: Versatile and easy to work with, when you work with the site daily it can be very efficient. Enjoy the fact that it is so user friendly.

Cons: The set up of the printing of invoices and payouts, when you have to click and save the click again this can be too time consuming. The payouts especially are annoying to retrieve.

Housecall Pro has really taken our business to the next level and has helped us be organized!

Pros: It is very user friendly and I am able to get my use out of it. If i ever stumble across a feature that I do not understand, I can easily get on live chat and somebody will answer my question.

Cons: I wish we could have more than three customized texts to send out to people. I like the pre set texts, but I wish we had the option of adding more

Overall: Our business has grown quite a bit and we give a lot of that credit to they system we have been using. It has given us the ability to stay organized and be able to communicate with out clients in a very professional and efficient manner. Definitely worth the money.

Pros: It takes away the unknown. You know what jobs are open and who has paid. I have always been crazy busy and would forget to bill people. This makes billing easy and just the people I would not bill before that I currently bill and collect pays for the service. It also create a level of communication with the customer that just impresses the customer and sets an edge to separate you and the competition.

Cons: It does not communicate counties to QuickBooks. When I do my sales tax I have to individually go through every job and manually break it down....big bummer

Overall: Efficiency

Nice to set up appointments and have my schedule prepared and ready to go everyday.

Pros: Overall Everything! Download the app and your employee's have full access to their schedule. The dashboard is perfect for monitoring all aspect of the company and easy to modify

Cons: No CRM functionality to manage email campaigns and follow ups. If you added Crm Functionality in your management system you would be One of a Kind!

Pros: It's been good for me because I'm building a better customer list than i have ever before in 30 some odd years I've been in business customers really appreciate the text that I'm on my way and they're getting a notice that they're scheduled I have a couple of the other contractors I deal with know how this is been working for me which is good trying to get them to sign on. I appreciate the fact that I can send a invoice from my phone.

Cons: Computer version has job numbers but currently phone app appears not to see them. Some features must be done with computer only such as connecting customer to bill for customer.

Pros: The schedule is really easy to use. I really like the drag and drop feature. Also, the payment portal it easy to use.

Cons: No CRM system for me to use to set up follow up dates and reminders. Also how estimates dont delete after being turned into jobs.

Pros: Saves me time, and time is money, In a fast pace world you need to run your business from everywhere.

Cons: It's Internet base and sometimes I can't get a signal in bad spots, so I can't work with the app....

Pros: Pretty complete platform for a delivery business. I like that invoicing is automated to deduct if any deposits are made. Like having scheduling and invoicing all in one spot

Cons: Would like for separate customer business address. We have many customers but jobs are in different locations as we deliver to contractors. Would like for one contact and all jobs under each contact.

Pros: Keeps things organized. I like letting the customers know when we will arrive to the job with this app so they know when to expect us and that we are on the way. I also like that it keeps track of the jobs that we have estimates on so that it is easier to follow up with them.

Cons: I wish to see the accumulation of accounts receivables to a particular referral source as a bulk lump sum. It would also be nice to see some task management or a to do list that we can send to our employees or a particular contact.

Pros: very user-friendly, able to keep track of jobs easily, like the fact that it lets our customers know when they are set up for an appt and when we are on our way

Pros: Easy to navigate the website and scheduling at a glance is a very nice feature. Would recommend to any smaller company specializing in residential work.

Cons: Very limited in tracking history on multiple pieces of equipment in the same account. Too many work arounds that time consuming for commercial accounts.

Pros: Very well configured out of the box to start using immediately. Additional functionality is easy to add in the fly. Very important for a small HVAC company like mine.
The best part is their staff and user community. The company is very responsive to customer requests and have a very active user network with a dedicated forum for communication. Love it!

Cons: Would like to see the ability to have recurring automatic billing for service plan customers. Other than that, a better system for tracking service plans, but they're already planning to roll that out in a couple of months.

Overall: My business runs on this software. As a one man show, I needed to have efficient workflows and. HCP accomplished it for me.

Pros: Super easy to use! I can't believe I was able to run my business before housecall pro! Between scheduling and tracking my employees I am saving so much of my valuable time.

Cons: So far I haven't found any negatives.
This software is amazing! I will update if anything changes but as of now I am very pleased.

Easy flowing and only took a few days to get completely up and going.

Pros: Online booking is my favorite. We didn't hesitate with the online booking. I like that you can place the link on Facebook and yelp and our web page.

Cons: I wish it had better reports to pull and that it offered some type of inventory tracking. Either parts used or something to track

Overall: easy work flow. The techs in the field love it. I like that the payment are all in one app. No need to leave the app to collect the app.

Seems to be working ok but needs more options when setting up costumers.

Pros: Customer service !! You guys have awesome customer service !! All the features that is offered works very well and works every time.

Cons: Does not Display invoice numbers in customer history, for my customers with multiple invoices on the mobile app . Technician has to go through an open every invoice searching for a particular invoice . Would also like to see a place where they can mark invoices complete or incomplete . Will not allow me to shut off tax function per customer. Has to be shut off every time we create an invoice for my tax exempt customers .

Top notch, nothing else compares.

Pros: Calendar, scheduling, invoicing, customization, and the reporting! You can track all your customers, tag them as you see fit, and create basically any report as you see fit.

Cons: The only con, which is a current con and I'm sure they will fix this in the future, is they only offer this for 1 business. For instance, I am the sole operator for both businesses and I would like to look at one calendar when checking my available.

Overall: It is literally the only software you need to run your service business.

Housecall is a good vision, not always well executed.

Cons: 1. The mobile app feels like an afterthought. Minimal functionality and doesn't even feel the same as the website. It's like the website had a good amount of time put in, and then the mobile app was coded by somebody who has no idea what they are doing. It's errors and glitches are numerous and I have yet to see any updates in the past two years of using the software.
2. I feel like the company is a little "spammy", always nagging me for reviews and such with no option to opt out.
3. No option for customers to keep their credit card info on file.

Overall: It allows me to dispatch for my contractors

Amazing app that saves me time and keeps my customers well informed. Very professional!

Pros: I love how easy it is to organize your customers and send out estimates, invoices, schedule confirmations and text alerts, all with a push of a button! Love how it links to QuickBooks too!

Cons: it Only works if you have an internet connection, which isn't always available, but I get why. Saving all that info would be crazy. If only there was a way to temporarily store your jobs for the day on your phone so you don't have to rely on the internet.

Overall: Saves me time wasted creating and sending out invoices, receipts, schedule confirmations and reminders. With this product, it is all automated, it also links to QuickBooks which saves time logging everything one by one!

I love the software and your staff is always kind and helpful!

Pros: It's great and I love it. I love the table column settings and filtering. I think it's a great software!

Cons: Since not all customers have email, it would be nice to have a check mark or something to alert you that you've sent the invoice,. Sometimes I forget to put in private notes.

Pros: The ease of use and well integrated planning in the steps from lead to final payment directly to QuickBooks

Cons: Not being able to easily add an attachment and send through the mobile app version and lack of integration with Google Drive.

Pros: Fairly simple! Looks clean and offers some neat ways to schedule and dispatch. I also like the tag options for reporting.

Cons: Chat support!!! The platform needs a call center with broader hours for us out here in the eastern US. Also, there needs to be a way to link sub accounts of a contractor (owner) on tags for a job so that you can run reports or send marketing to them. If you can't understand what I am talking about, then this is confirmation that you need verbal interaction with your clients. There are a couple of other things that I could see improving on but honestly I haven't been able to dig into the platform 100% yet

Pros: I like that you can schedule two people to one job. I like the calendar and notifications in general.

Cons: I don't like that I can't schedule multiple jobs in one screen. Copying takes a long time. If I could have a calendar and select days to book cleanings, that would be great.

Pros: It's a team of people who care about what YOU want and does their best to fit that, even if they don't technically provide that exact service, they do whatever they can to benefit you.

Pros: I do like the employees can see their jobs and put notes in system. The alert system hives an hour w/o Dow before job.

Cons: I don't like how when I'm ln the field I cannot look at entire schedule for the week. Makes it very hard to add other jobs on the fly from phone. Would be real nice to see another week and all jobs to plan accordingly

Pros: I love how easy it is to use this software it is very easy on your phone to add people and schedule them or just do a quick estimate

Pros: Consumer Friendly easy to use. Great for scheduling techs and its an all in one software Love the new look - keep up the good work - Add Payroll!!!

Cons: No terms on invoices. Cant run reports... Maybe soon house call will add these features. Also you keep updating the software which frustrate you!

Pros: Pretty much everything. The customer service is great! I love how I can keep track of the crew's hours and schedule, dispatch and invoice all in one place.

Cons: I would love there to be a place to take notes and have a to-do list handy but that is just icing on the cake. In general, i really like the product.

Pros: The best part of the software is the communication it allows us to provide to the customers. Using their "scheduled, on my way, start, and finish" features as well as, the email campaigns- helps develop relationships with our customers!

All the features have been really great and the support from HousecallPro staff has been phenomenal!

Cons: I don't have any cons at the moment. Maybe if I had to say something it would be that the estimates do not currently sync up with google calendar.

Great customer service, everyone I have come in contact with has been helpful and kind!

Pros: I like that the software is simple and easy to use, everything seems to be self explanatory and that makes working easier!

Cons: There should be more specifications as far as invoicing and reoccurring billing. I have yet to find a way to set SPECIFIC dates for reoccurring billing/invoicing/scheduling.

Pros: Scheduling and how easy it is to use it. Zillow profiling is very useful as well. It gives me size of the house and number of room, making it easier to price the job. Invoices can be sent within seconds of job completion.

Cons: Dashboard is a bit complicated to understand. I wish I could select what and how I can see the company growth.

Overall: No mistake in recurring schedules. It's perfect for my growing company.

Pros: Easy to enter a new customer and put them on the schedule. Helpful that employees are color coded and can put more than 1 on each job. Really like the technology to email and text customers and provide them with receipts, updates, etc. Like that you can take payments and link CC payments to bank.

Cons: It does not flow the way it should. Notes should have auto date & time and a way to view them better. When you copy estimate to a job, the estimate should be archived. Very confusing when you have several estimates that are still showing. Also should be able to archive customers. Huge problems trying to coordinate with QB Pro due to the numerous jobs that are created and do not get auto deleted once you copy to a job. Very, very confusing.

Pros: Helps me and my field techs keep organized with jobs, parts needed, rescheduling. Google maps view helps us to see the house we are about to go to and have an idea of the job that may be needed.

Cons: Zestimate of house price is visible on invoice.
Discount can only be applied to the entire job, cannot apply discount directly to a part or service.
There is a glitch when scheduling a customer with multiple addresses using the app

Pros: Functionality and ease of use; customer support is great and fast when needed. I love the option to use the app and a desktop version. We were able to save money because it saved us from hiring additional personnel to perform the functions that HouseCall Pro did. I definitely recommend it.

Cons: I wouldn't change anything about HouseCall Pro. The system was well designed with the user experience in mind. Little training was required to get us up and running on the software.

Pros: The Transition from quote to Job and the Customer Support at the click of a bubble. They also took my entire customer list and uploaded it to the new software in only a couple days.

Cons: Doesn't have a place to add my personal message or a place to put my link to give my company a review like my old software did

Overall: I can do everything with one program. Schedule, quote, invoice and take payment including Credit cards without having to use multiple other programs. They have many other added on options but none are conducive to my company at this time but I am very happy with the program overall

This software is great too because, it allows us to consolidate a lot of our work into one quick click of a button!

Pros: Easy to get used to. Easy to customize to stay almost exactly how my old calendar was. Can't wait to see it go live.

Cons: The calendar brings you back to the current day when you make changes past the current week.
Example if I schedule an appointment for 2 weeks out when I click out the calendar automatically brings m back to the current week. If I need to continue working on that new appointment for some reason I now need to remember where I scheduled it and then click through to get back to what I was just working on.

Overall: everything all in one -- calendar-invoicing- estimate -payment tracker

Pros: I like the email follow up that my customers receive as well as the reminders they get before the job, letting know I'm on my way. The support team is awsome as well. Whenever I need help or have a question, they answer within minutes.

Pros: Ok so my partner and I started a new business together and I was using Joist which, for free, is a sweet app but I quickly realized that a serious business needed a serious software to help with logistics. Demo ensued and... Long story short our sales person was really cool and answered all of my difficult questions with ease. And trust me I am an office gorilla. And if you are trying to bamboozle me, well, I have those maternal instincts that can smell bamboozling a mile away. the program was easy to use and easy to learn. It has a real-time app that my tech in the field uses, it is partnered with zillow so the service address shows up with all the juicy details, bed/bathroom, sq ft, price it sold for . my tech uses the map function so he doesn't have to call me for directions. you can search specific date ranges and tag customers with specific tags for ROI data. It keeps a graph display dashboard of all the business vitals. Unlike other programs this one lets you pick the level you want to pay and for more you can get extra services. the lowest level still gives you plenty to run a successful business. I LOVE house call Sparky, the virtual text concierge, that reminds clients when their appointment is, confirms appt, tells them when the tech is en route and when a job is finished. There is a pay online feature, a "bill to separate address" feature, and the customer service is the BEST I've ever dealt with. they even take suggestions.

Cons: when you use the payment box to run a credit card it pops up in the center of the screen and you cant move it to see what the billing zip is on the screen below it.
I don't know if it's me but sometimes it takes a few seconds longer than I like to load between screens. There might be a toggle feature I am missing.
I work hard and I expect my technology to do the same.
I would like to see a little more flexibility in the price list feature. It should operate faster with the line item selection. If I pick something I know is in our saved price list it takes a minute for it to populate the selection box.
When you are inputting the prices of line items by hand the cursor goes to weird places in the price. drives me bonkers

Overall: it makes my job way easier AND we were able to have a paperless office.

Pros: I love that so much can be done from a phone. I no longer have to be at my desktop to view/create invoices. I also like that I can see when a customer has opened emails from me.

Cons: There isn't much customization with the invoices. I would like to be able to make more adjustments. It's very basic but it gets the job done.

Cons: We like to make notes under customers, for example a phone conversation. We like to date/time stamp everything, so we just have to do that manually.

Cons: The scheduling/calendar functionality. It's tough to gauge tech availability (especially if you have more than 5) without extensive review of each tech's schedule, especially when you have multi-day jobs. Pros: It has consolidated my calendar, customer data base, accounting and marketing into one program. My customers LOVE this (all except one that I'm aware of) with the notification of appointments and when I'm headed to the job. The invoices look extremely professional and I can take credit cards all with the same program!

Cons: The calendar on the computer version of HCP on my Mac can be a pain to work with sometimes and I end up grabbing my iPhone to make appointments and create events. It would also be nice to have notifications for events that are on the calendar as well. PLEASE make the calendar easier to use!

Pros: My favorite part is the automated messaging and all my booking. When customers can go on and look for their time slot they want that's unbelievable. The invoicing is insane it's perfect.

Pros: We are able to put the schedule on our website, being able to watch what the field technicians are doing and the time it takes them to do a job. Also, the technicians are able to let the customer know that they are on there way.

Cons: I have quite figured out on how to get our customers to review us. I would love for them to make a user-friendly link like they have with the scheduling button that we have on our website, that way our customers can have that button next to our schedule button.

Great package that is constantly growing and making updates. Listen to user input daily!

Pros: The software is extremely user friendly and responsive. It supported on Multi-Platform. Their business is growing with ours! Updates and features are constantly being added to cater to all service industries. Input from the users dives their progression and it's very hand on via 'blue bubble' or the FaceBook community designated for HouseCall Prod users.

Cons: You can't be too mad about anything because they're willing to work on it if the community collectively wants it!

I love this app. I recommend it all of the time!

Pros: easy scheduling and communication with customers. I also love auto invoice. Housecall pro helped me become more professional . Making my customers trust my services even more

Cons: I don't like that it takes 2 days to get paid. I would like to be able to add tasks to each job. Also when techs press start and finish business owner should receive notification of job finished and include location.

Pros: It puts my business almost in complete auto pilot . It keeps my schedule clean and helps with organizing and disbatching the workers . Be able to communicate with employees and customers through an app. Allowing our customers to know who is coming and that there on there way. I can't speaking more highly of this company or its software

There isn't anything that I have to say that I don't like. I knew signing up that they were a growing company and everything wasn't going to be perfect. However, just in a little over a year they have added so many new helpful features and continue to make it better.

Cons: No fields for equipment model and serial numbers, a place to store service contract information, would like the schedule screen to show at a glance what the tech is doing at the call

Pros: The scheduling and invoicing is set up nicely and is very easy to us. I like the calendar integrations as well as the quick books.

Cons: It doesn't have a feature for maintenance agreements. I would like it where I can add a customer to a maintenance agreement program and auto bill them monthly and have a reminder set for them when it's close to the time for their maintenance.

Pros: Only been using HouseCall Pro for 1-1/2 weeks. It is very user friendly, easy to figure out on my own. I love the webinar training.

Cons: Since I have been using it only 1-1/2 weeks, there are things that come up on a daily basis that needs to be addressed.

Overall: Still on a learning curve.

Use it to schedule jobs and dispatch guys for my handyman/home repair business

Pros: That everything is all together in one single program, scheduling, customer database, notes, pix, estimates, invoices, etc.

Cons: That I pay amount/month to use the program, then an additional 2.9% for card transaction AND have to wait TWO DAYS to see my money hit the bank. There is no monthly fee to use Square and I see my money the next day! This is getting close to being a deal breaker for me.

Pros: The customer service is terrific! Also i like the simplicity that this offers. It's just very easy to get the feel for the software.

Cons: The mobile app and the desktop version are so different. It actually did take me some a little time to learn how to properly use the app.

Pros: Features are rich. Support is always a call away and very responsive. They take feedback and seem to implement changes. Hard to find in a software management app.

Cons: Does not have a live search.
Search engine in app could be improved. Sometimes servers seem to be slow, although it may be my cell service.

Pros: You can do the invoicing right from the program, see all of the history of the customer. The functionality is very easy.

Cons: That it sends notifications to the homeowner every time you change something. You have to make sure you uncheck the notifications box.
