Pros: I love how user friendly it is to use. Job tracking and invoicing are definitely important but setting up the program was definitely easy. The setup takes time but once your line items were entered everything fell right in to place.

Cons: I did not like that the invoice date changed every time you accessed it. In true accounting the original invoice date does not change. I also did not like that it did not automatically calculate the due date based on NET terms.

Overall: Running a business is challenging but with Housecall Pro, things fell right into place.

Pros: Easy to use. Customer Service is top-notch. When I'm stressed out and chat with the tech people, they usually send me an entertaining GIF that makes me feel better (Carlton from Fresh Prince, Scooby Doo, etc. Cons: Little interface quirks, and that it keeps changing. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it) Wish you could upload multiple attachments at once.

Pros: Its All in One and all at your fingertips , The Best software i have used in a long time. Only thing they would need to work on is to integrate into payroll this would make it even better!

Cons: No live person but this is the way of our new world, us old school people still like the old fashion customer service way...lol

Pros: All the text messages that the customers receives. The customers love it! Getting paid on the spot with a credit card is wonderful plus they can leave a tip!

Cons: The cost for a new business to get all the feature is a little much. The software does not do email blast.

Pros: Scheduling ability and how we can communicate with our clients via email and text about appointments. Also like how we can send invoices directly to them.

Cons: It's not very functional for our own inner office scheduling needs in regards to reminders and contacting customers directly.

Pros: Practical, nice color to view since I look at it all day, good communication with customers. Love it!

Cons: Would be nice if I could talk on the phone to a person when I need a little help. Would like to be able to just talk to someone.

I like the user interface on both the desktop and mobile versions.

Pros: Ease of use, accepting payment via credit card, user interface, sync with Google calendar, dashboard for viewing important items

Cons: No offline capability is a major issue; calendar defaults back to the current week no matter what you are doing.

Overall: enables me to manage my appointments, customers and payments. Also nice that it tracks total time on the job

Pros: User-friendly software for office and field staff. Very affordable. Our customers appreciate the notification of when we are on the way instead of a several hour time window. Good accountability of techs re: job start and finish times. Immediate payment notifications. Even when away, 24/7 accessibility to customer's projects and previous service calls. Can upload photos and product brochures that can be attached to customer estimates or invoices. Time saving - has greatly reduced paperwork and streamlined procedures.

Cons: Would like the ability to upload and use forms for checklists, rebates, and report templates that will save time in the field, yet communicate clearly and track the status of our customer's equipment.

Pros: Housecall Pro makes it super easy to merge your clients into their software. The map feature makes routing easy and the address suggestions enables you to quickly add new clients. Tags enable you to organize your clients effectively.

Cons: The only thing I don¿t love about this software is that you are unable to create a pool of clients.

Pros: Everything I need in 1 AP. Customer info, service fees, and calendar. Makes great invoices! love it

Cons: It might be nice to be able to see a whole week at a time in the calendar. That's the only kind I can possibly imagine.

HCP has saved me an enormous amount of time away from my office/computer writing estimates/billing .

Pros: I enjoy the simple software that allows me to do everything from keeping customer portfolios, to scheduling and dispatching, to invoicing. It makes day to day life of running a business so much easier.

Cons: I wish that there was a section to enter information of the units, like model number, serial number, tonnage, voltage, refrigerant type, etc.

Pros: Calendar and customer set up is awesome. Price list is an ease. The app on phone is awesome as well.

Cons: It notifies customers for everything. I update an invoice by adding notes it tells them. I try to give myself a reminder or add old jobs n tells them

Comments: The support and continued integrations from the team at HouseCall Pro have been exceptional!

Pros: It's simple to use yet powerful. Our customers love the notifications they receive letting them know we are on the way. We love the ability to set tags and see job and payment status. The chat support from HouseCall Pro has been wonderful. And, their team is always responsive and creative in helping us come up with solutions to our specific business needs.

Cons: We have an extensive inventory list. This took us a while to set up. However, we knew this before making our decision to transition to HouseCall Pro. In the end we're getting a custom catalog. So, it's been well worth the effort.

Pros: - The dispatch system
- Notifying clients of jobs status
- Dashboard is great
- Ability for Field Techs to manage a job end to end (scheduled, work completed, accept payment), etc.
- Customer Service is incredible by via chat and phone.
- Training Videos are so helpful.

Cons: - It is only a one way push to QuickBooks Online. Would be nice it was a two-way sync.
- Need a pause button for a job which I hear is coming.
- Somethings can only be done on Web portal and somethings are only on the mobile device. All options should be available every where

Pros: I do like being able to set up a schedule and change it when needed. It is good to have the knowledge of where the technician is if needed.
I like being able to see who has not paid and when.
Being able to see when the job was started, finished, changes made and submission to client is a big help.
The ability to capture a signature is one of our favorite features.
It is very easy to use once you have mastered the basics. There are a few things that were challenging to discover how to do it and needed some explanations.
Over all it is a really great program.

Cons: We have had a few problems learning the software. Most of the support staff and very good and extremely helpful. There are a couple that need further training or something. The easiest thing is to wait and then contact them later. Sometimes you need to ask for someone in particular. If I am working on the app late at night or after hours then I will need to wait but that has worked out so far.
I hope that maybe they will be able to program it to be able to add segments to a recurring job. I have a job that always takes at least 3-5 days. That means it needs to have segments and that of course means I can't make it recurring every 2 months.
We had a little trouble switching over to a different phone but we got it worked out and now everything is fine.

Overall: We are able to eliminate the paper invoices and show when the tech arrived and finished if needed. This helps in a lot of areas. It also has helped us to see which invoices have not been received and /or paid as the case may be. Having a signature that we can email with the invoice is so helpful!

It has helped my business go paperless. My customers also love it.

Pros: Has job and customer tracking. intuitive and simple. Also the estimates can be templated so it saves me time. I like the drag down way I can fill my estimate quickly with an item list I set up in advance. Also tracks my estimate landed ratio and tracks payments. Nice.

Cons: the email templated has to be customized every time I send a bid! So annoying when I can template the entire bid not to be able to template the intro email! Also there are many steps to get to an invoice. Only customers are able to be searched on header and not estimates or invoices . So all my customers need to be sorted through to get to their estimate. Much easier if I could open estimate or invoice directly.

Pros: The software is easy to use on a desk top and mobile app. I started to use it for scheduling only and found out that it is much more than that. We are a small company that is growing and house call is an easy way to help manage my schedule and my growing crew. The ability to send invoices and have the customer pay is amazing. There are many features that I'm discovering and there is probably much more to come, because the software is constantly improving.

Cons: sometimes the page take a little long to load when used on mobile app. sometimes I have to restart the app.

Wonderful. Great support. Runs my day everyday.

Pros: The software is very intuitive. Implementation was reasonable and relatively painless; communications with Quickbooks is best I could find in research process.

Cons: You have to use their credit card processing if you want the QB relationship to work properly. Pricing is competitive but not least.

Pros: Easy to work with, but all my techs have to continually sign in and out of the app to refresh the jobs which is annoying.

Cons: That I'm not able to incorporate my credit card company that I use now. You are almost be forced to use your company which I'm not happy about.

Pros: Pros: Multiple user input availability, with management oversight. Loved that you can see homeowner and management instructions right on screen so nothing gets missed.

Cons: Cons: Originally the timekeeping was really difficult to work with but it has gotten much better.
It's been a few month's since I've been using the app so I'm sure it has improved since.

Overall: I was able to gather payroll data without interrupting the team or management to get the data I needed to do my job.

I have enjoyed my experience integrating Housecall Pro with our plumbing service business.

Pros: I like the fact that using this software is very user friendly. The support staff is responsive and provides excellent customer service. It is easy to enter customers and jobs in the system. I have not utilized all the features such as dispatch, taking customer credit cards, marketing campaigns, and integration with Quickbooks but I know these features are there should we decide to implement them.

Cons: I wish the software was a little faster when I access it, but the speed at which I access the database could be a function of slower internet speeds rather than the software itself.

Overall: Easy to use CRM and enter customers and jobs into the system.

Looked at and tried many... This one is affordable for any size business and fairly easy to use.

Pros: The recurring job feature and the ability to sync with QB. If you have recurring clients such as we do in lawn care, then you can set you weekly or Bi-Weekly services up for the entire year and adjust them as needed based on grass growth. Still working on snow removal part of it.

Cons: Doesn't sync with QB Desktop(much cheaper than online) and still can't figure out how to schedule bulk jobs all at once...such as when a snow storm hits and we have to quickly start sending people out to clear 100 different locations within hours. This is a challenge so I still have to use Excel Spreadsheet to get it done. Could just be I haven't been able to figure out how to easily do it within the system.

Overall: Scheduling was made easy.

Pros: The scheduling portion is extremely helpful Being able to set up repeating events is great. Also the photo of the home and being able to jump between navigation and the app is easy.

Cons: Learning how to take a payment with having to copy (or duplicate) a job was a little weird at first but I've gotten used to it.

I have never missed or been late to an appointment ever since I began using HouseCall Pro.

Pros: This software is so simple to use and so meaningful to my business practices. I used to schedule appointments straight through Outlook which was good but Housecall Pro is on another level of good. I can schedule my appointments easily.

Cons: I would be ashamed to say anything bad about this software. However, a voice command feature similar to Alexa would be a dream come true.

Comments: Our previous system was outdated and offered no customization or detailed history so this makes a big difference. This hit all of our major needs as well as many of our wants. It's simple enough that someone without a lot of tech/app experience can jump right into using it. Their are useful video tutorials if they want more assistance.

Pros: Being able to see customer history is a big thing for us - I can go to the customer and see all of the times we've been out. Seeing real time updates is a huge plus - I can see photos from the job site and notes immediately after our tech submits them in the field which means we can start ordering parts or anything else we need to do right away. Scheduling is easy and our techs get updates on their phone with all of the info they need right away. I like customizing employees photos and colors so visually the schedule is easy to tell who is scheduled before even clicking to get detail. The start and finish button are fantastic. One of the most useful features beyond basic scheduling is job tags and the ability to run reports. I can export our appointment data and sort it so we can really see where our time is being spend and how. Customer support/chat is really helpful.

Cons: There are a few features and functions that we would like that are not currently offered - fortunately they welcome feedback and do take our requests as considerations for future updates

Cons: Still can be improved
I would like to have the option to have to charge link into on email removed.
I would like to have email campaigns not only card campaigns.
I would like to have the option to customize the lines of estimate in the amount area. It is still just one option there.

The representatives are supper helpful and knowledgeable about the program and features.

Pros: Detailed reports. Financial overviews and automated invoices. I like the fact that you can pay online via the emailed invoice, and the approval/decline process for estimates.

Cons: Credit card fees are high. Needs more integrations. I was also promised a half off installation fee, but didn't get one. And when I saw the month plan was the same as the free, I canceled. The month plan said it had email marketing, but it was unavailable.

After 3 years of use, we consistently rely on HCP to make our home service business run smoothly.

Pros: The interface is so intuitive and Apple-esque in its design both in the web/admin application and the technician app. It makes training field personnel so easy and our customers are constantly in awe of the clean presentation and high level of communication. We are perceived as being a high level, structured franchise and not the owner-operator business that we actually are.

Overall: It makes us run smoothly and keeps our records in order. It also impresses our clients and simplifies our scheduling and day to day operations.
It is highly focused on acquiring consumer users into its ecosystem. To keep them engaged and familiar with the platform for finding other service professionals, it requires your company to fit into their business model. So, the customization that we rely on to help differentiate ourself in the market can sometimes get buried under the "Housecall Way"

House Call Pro frees my time and eliminates all the extra paper filing so I can tend to other tasks.

Pros: Being able to schedule the technicians with different colors and see the schedule for a day, week, & month along .

Cons: I answer more than one telephone line & I often have to search for another customer's name or info while in the middle of recording a different customer's job. If I hit the back arrow it throws my current customer to unscheduled. Is there a way to look at a customer's info & the schedule calendar at the same time?
I have certain customers that have Net 30 Days payment arrangements with us. I often forget to change each of their invoices to this status. It would be helpful if there was an option to make Net 30 Days as a default for my "certain customers" without making ALL the customers the same default.

Pros: I like the how easy it is to enter customer information add attachments, create multiple segments and quote options. I also like the calendar view and the fact that I can customize messages and color code technicians.

Cons: I dislike the face that it takes 3 clicks to get to a date on the calendar from the customer window. It should be when I click on scheduling the calendar drops down so I can pick the date I need to go to.
I also don't like that I have to to the dashboard to look up customers by address or invoice number. I should be able to do that from the customer look up, not switch screens. This takes up valuable time with our customers.

Pros: The ease of use and the client interaction. Our customers love to get updates on where the technician is and when they complete the job. We also love the Quickbooks online integration.

Cons: We wish there was a feature for monthly contract jobs. The workaround is pretty frustrating to bill a customer a flat rate once a month. Also a focus on employee scheduling conflicts, time off request, and availability would be a tremendous addition to this software.

Pros: I like the reporting capabilities and the insight it provides for my business. It also allows me to manage my technician's hours.

Cons: Some of the features are somewhat limited, and it feels clunky sometimes. My biggest complaint about this software is it doesn't have the proper tools to handle large accounts that have many different service address. For example, we do facility maintenance for Family Dollar, Wal-Mart, Petsmart, etc. in the state of Indiana and obviously there are many service locations, but one parent account. I wish they would implement some tools that would make it easier to handle our large clients.

Overall: The ability to dispatch service orders to technicians, and track their hours simultaneously in one app.

Overall the software works great. If we ever have an issue the customer service is fantastic.

Pros: The software is pretty easy to use. My techs like it and so do our customers. Being able to email our customers as soon as the job is finished is a big plus/

Overall: This software really cuts down on paperwork. Since it merges with QuickBooks - hand logging in our jobs is now less than 1%. We would most definitely recommend this product to other carpet cleaners - however we like being the only one in our area that has it.

Pros: I love the ability of keeping the customer "in the loop". They know when their appointment is, they also get notification that our tech is on the way (along with his name). Pros: Once you customize the services/prices to your company, the scheduling is pretty quick and easy. the online tech support is excellent and responsive. After comparing many similar products, HCP offered the best value for the money and gave us most of the options we were looking for.

Cons: This software relies very heavily on Quickbooks online for its customer integration. If you don't use QB online, many of the tasks are redundant and time consuming. There is no way to maintain a customer credit card on file. My tech-savvy techs have had no problem implementing this software using an iPad in the field. My lass tech savvy techs have struggled with customizing invoices in the field, converting estimates to job, and seeing customer history. Plan to spend time acclimating your crew to the software.

Overall: Being able to have customer information typed out instead of trying to read a technician's handwriting. The ease of moving appointments through drag/drop. Our customers love the automatic On My Way text notification.

Pros: The thing that I like the most is being able to drag and drop the appointments right into the schedule. As a dispatcher this made it really easy. I also really like that the tech is able to send the homeowner a text when they are on the way.

Cons: I do not like that you are not able to see a map for multiple days. That makes it hard to know where you are placing techs if you aren't familiar with the area or zip codes.

Pros: All the functions from texting customers to the support. The staff from the sign up crew to the support team is just outstanding. Anthony took his time to show every detail of the process from inputting customers to closing out a invoice. Cust support rep texts just to make sure we don't need any help. She has walked me through setting the business up to exporting price list from other companies overall very helpful thanks every from house call pro

Pros: It makes keeps track of invoices, customers, and productivity very well. I love that a text can be shot to the customer and let them know we are on our way and when we are done. Invoicing is easy and the credit card processing works smoothly. It integrates with Quickbooks very well. I love the automatic send out of a Thank You post card to my closed invoices.

Cons: The way customers with multiple address and how you can track what you have done at that address is very difficult and frustrating.

Pros: Able to control everything from the field and syncs up with quick books.
Easy to train and easy to go paperless.
Real time schedule editing
Great for keeping up with contacts.

Housecall Pro app is easy to use. And their staff are very helpful.

Pros: That I can schedule my appointments invoice my clients and get paid. Love the fact that I can do all three things and one app

Cons: Still trying to learn how everything works. Would like to see more options for postcard. Easier way to upload pictures for your own design but other than that everything is good

Overall: Easy to keep track of my client payments and scheduling. Excited to how this software is going to improve my return client.

I have been using this for a year now and the customer support has been phenomenal.

Pros: The ability to notify customers when your on the way, the easy tracking of invoicing, proposals, and customer data. I also enjoy their fantastic customer support.

Cons: The office end is lacking features that the app has. I have been told that this issue is being resolved by there support staff so after this everything will be functioning well.

Doing business is much easyier

Comments: A feature i think would be help full is duplicate invoicing or estamtes also alarms so if some people dont want to give us there email an alarm for us to call them personaly and track it thru the house call

Pros: I like being able to send invoives from my phone i also like my data base being ar my fingertips when in the field

Cons: The thing that frustrates me is Not being able to correct adress from phone i have to wait till i get back to my pc

Pros: It is easy to use! Everything that I need to run my business is done through this app without any confusion!

Cons: There isn't anything that I don't like! I must say though email marketing would be great if the cost was lowered to send out the email!

Overall: The ease of invoicing my clients!

Pros: Automates all of my customer related tasks. Customer database, billing, scheduling and marketing are all within a few clicks of a mouse.

Cons: Mobile app has a few minor glitches but I feel like I'm complaining about a great Christmas present when Indy that. It's still a ton better off then I was without it.

Pros: The customer service is second to none - like really - I am unsatisfied with every other customer experience I have because I compare it to them now. Its east to use, they take your feedback and actually do something with it and its wildly helpful for our small moving company.

Cons: The mobile app has some funny glitches every now and then but other then that all my other issues are super minor.

Pros: It keeps me organized and it's like having an extra employee or two for almost no cost compared to that kind of performance.

Cons: Not much, I still don't really know all the in's and out's, but everything so far has been very smooth. I do wish there was a way to integrate the New Flat Rate into the program.

HCP is very user friendly.

Pros: I really like how easy it is to use and the real time updates. This is really helpful when updating the tech's customer list without them having to call the office or come back to the shop.

Overall: There are some features I would like to see added in future releases. HPC has made it very easy to give suggestions.

Pros: Easy to use. Love the automatic texts alerts. easy for my techs to learn and use.

Cons: it is horrible with my Quickbooks. My books are all jacked up. I also really do not like the fact that I cannot change the amount paid to exceed what is owed.

Pros: Fairly simple to use.

Cons: It's a scheduling software for service jobs but has no ability to do work orders only invoices. I would think the number one priority for scheduling would be the work order and invoicing an add on or optional feature
