Many systems are not equipped to be a global solution. Being able to store our company wide data in one place is crucial for our business. Pros The customization and support. If it doesn't exist they build it for us. If I need help they respond immediately. I am so grateful for all of the assistance. Cons Not the most intuitive setup. I am always learning new funcitionalites and tools but it's overall obvious on how things work which can be frustrating. Reporting customization and filtering is so limited for users. Always have to have custom reports built and then we have a ton that need to be removed as we redefine what is required. With the HR software, we set up automated reminders and review cycles. Last quarter, for the first time, 100% of reviews were completed on time. This boosted employee morale and saved HR countless hours of chasing managers. Centralized Employee Records We previously maintained files in different folders and spreadsheets. During audits, HR had to scramble to pull out data. Now, everything from offer letters to training certificates is stored in one place. It’s a great system and it’s an ongoing relationship. We still meet with our Account Manager monthly (it moves to weekly when we are busy with implementation), and that level of support, even three years in, is a big reason why we're still with them. Pros After reviewing a number of HR systems, ClayHR stood out as the easiest to use, both for us in HR setting it up and for our employees actually using it. Rolling out the different modules has been incredibly smooth and our Account Manager has been amazing throughout the process. She really holds our hand through each implementation and takes the time to walk us through new features, which is great because ClayHR is constantly adding useful updates that actually improve how we do HR. The workflows and approval processes have been a huge time-saver too, it's so much easier to get input and sign-offs from the right people without anything slipping through the cracks. Cons Honestly, there aren’t really any major cons. What’s been great is that even if the system doesn’t currently do something we need, our Account Manager always takes our feedback to the engineers and more often than not, they’re able to customize or tweak the system to suit our needs. The entire application is super easy to navigate. We use the Slack integration very extensively and the PTO approvers approve/reject the leave requests from Slack directly. Hiring automation is pretty smooth as the positions show up in Indeed, and we get a ton of candidates for free from Indeed. (Other systems were trying to charge us money for this very feature.) Mobile apps are very comprehensive Cons Since the system is quite configurable, you have to sometimes play with the settings to get exactly the right behavior. Pros I mostly use Clay HR for performance evaluation and it's overall great at it. The tool is very easy to use and intuitive allowing me to optimize my time while working on collaborators review. This tool is also quite agile and can be easily extended to help companies manage a lot of HR tasks efficiently if implemented properly. We have used the software to do our first performance appraisal for 2021. Even though there are small areas of touch ups, we are almost there. Pros The bio data feature The Performance reviews The Group Survey Integration with our current software is currently being worked on and that would bring it to finality as data capturing has to be done twice, into our software and then to Bizmerlin Cons Integration is the next level to cross. Onboarded employee can easily, step by step understand, what else needs to be done. Also for employees good to have all personal information in one place. Cons Buttons in ToDo list (inProgress, Submitted, etc) are clickable, but user don't know about it. On Button hoover mouse cursor not changing to "finger", so users do not click on them usually (HR girls told to me). It's need to be fixed! Also user see many notifications on buttons about the same toDo list. I see in 6 (!) places red bubble with number about unfinished tasks, but that's all about the SAME toDo list!
