Cons

The User Interface could use a little tweak: sometimes, it feels like there's too much information for a specific feature (e.g.: Leave Management, Goals/Objectives).

As an employee at KEK Insurance Brokers, my overall experience with ClayHR has been positive. The platform provides a centralized space for managing key HR activities such as leave applications, performance tracking, and accessing personal records, which has improved efficiency and transparency. I especially appreciate how easy it is to submit requests and view approvals in real time. While some parts of the system can be a bit complex at first, once you get familiar with it, navigation becomes smooth. Overall, ClayHR has made HR processes more streamlined and accessible for staff across the company.

BizMerlin is our global HRIS, Time Tracking, Performance Mgmt, & ATS. Many systems are not equipped to be a global solution. Being able to store our company wide data in one place is crucial for our business.

Pros

The customization and support. If it doesn't exist they build it for us. If I need help they respond immediately. I am so grateful for all of the assistance.

Cons

Not the most intuitive setup. I am always learning new funcitionalites and tools but it's overall obvious on how things work which can be frustrating. Reporting customization and filtering is so limited for users. Always have to have custom reports built and then we have a ton that need to be removed as we redefine what is required.

Overall, the software has significantly streamlined our HR processes. I found ClayHR as User-Friendly HR Software with Powerful Features

Pros

Automated Performance Reviews Earlier, managers used to forget deadlines for employee appraisals, leading to frustration from staff and delays in increments. With the HR software, we set up automated reminders and review cycles. Last quarter, for the first time, 100% of reviews were completed on time. This boosted employee morale and saved HR countless hours of chasing managers. Centralized Employee Records We previously maintained files in different folders and spreadsheets. During audits, HR had to scramble to pull out data. Now, everything from offer letters to training certificates is stored in one place. When the labor inspector visited last month, we retrieved documents in minutes instead of hours. It created a very professional impression for the company.

Cons

Some employees, especially those not tech-savvy, struggled in the first few weeks. For example, a senior manager accidentally approved leave requests without reviewing properly because he was unfamiliar with the interface. After a short training session, he’s fine now, but it shows the importance of user training.

Currently operating seven networked branches across two regions, New Crystal has been recognized four times by the prestigious Ghana Club 100 (2012, 2014, 2015, and 2019). We are proud to provide high-quality, safe, and effective care to the populations we serve. We launched ClayHR in 2023 and are currently using the Leave Management, Performance Review, and Roster Management modules. The Leave Management system has been particularly helpful for both managers and employees to view and manage PTO in one centralized location. Managers appreciate having a shared calendar view of team absences, eliminating the need for individual tracking. Our Performance Reviews, which are conducted quarterly, have also become more efficient. The module has enabled us to streamline the process, allowing our managers and employees to engage in more meaningful career development conversations without being bogged down by administrative tasks. Roster Management has also been a valuable addition, making it significantly easier to schedule and manage employee shifts. ### "Great Experience-Streamlined HR Processes"

It's user-friendly and we are able to track expiration of licenses, engagement and aligning in our HR processes. Now, the ATS sends automated acknowledgment emails and interview reminders. Just last month, one applicant thanked us for the clear communication and smooth process, even though they weren’t selected. It leaves a positive impression of our brand.

Currently using it for recruitment, onboarding, records management-helps efficiency in the organization.

Cons

While the system allows job posting templates and workflows to be customized, setting them up initially took longer than expected.

I like how it makes my work seamless, and makes our operations very effective. Task Management: The ability to create, assign, and prioritize tasks is robust. Users can set deadlines and receive notifications, which helps keep projects on track. Collaboration Tools: Integrated chat and file-sharing features facilitate real-time communication among team members. This is particularly useful for our teams. Reporting: The reporting tools are comprehensive, allowing users to generate insights into productivity and project status. Customizable reports can be tailored to specific needs.

Cons

Is a Cloud-based systems that requires a stable internet connection. Any downtime or connectivity issues can severely impact accessibility.

It is phenomenal, ClayHR has the potential to do more, sometimes you just need to speak to your representatives and they’ll help you unlock lots of capabilities.

Ability to assign and take test and learning on ClayHR, payroll, employee performance, leaves, security, Goal setting, and having a document library

Cons

HR are not able to print out certificates after the user has passed a test assigned, it’s only the user who is able to print certificates.

It is good. I think the advantages are worth more than the disadvantages. It is user friendly. Superiors are able to know when subordinates are not around

Pros

It is not complicated to use. It is easy to see your leave days, the ones used and the ones left. It is confidential. The bosses are able to review the performance of the the subordinates. Payrolls are being worked on easily. It is worth the money put into it

Cons

You are unable to attach alot of documents at a time. It only allows for one document at a time. You cannot request for different stationeries at a time

ClayHR offers various helpful functions & tools necessary for our business portal, such as the workflows and performance evaluations. They also have a quick response turnaround time so we are able to receive help in a timely matter!

I would say the one con I have is having to manually update PTOs for each tier and tenure, but this is not a deal breaker.

It's been a painless experience and a timesaver.

Pros

I mostly use Clay HR for performance evaluation and it's overall great at it. The tool is very easy to use and intuitive allowing me to optimize my time while working on collaborators review. This tool is also quite agile and can be easily extended to help companies manage a lot of HR tasks efficiently if implemented properly.

Cons

The UI can still be perfected so it can be even more intuitive to use (exemple: allow the user to click on the assignement status icon to go to the performance evaluation page).

We now have our personal file soft into the software. Report can be generated. We have used the software to do our first performance appraisal for 2021. Even though there are small areas of touch ups, we are almost there. The other area to experience is training tracking and finally how to use the software to generate various HR report for the Board.

Pros

The bio data feature The Performance reviews The Group Survey Integration with our current software is currently being worked on and that would bring it to finality as data capturing has to be done twice, into our software and then to Bizmerlin

Cons

Integration is the next level to cross. The Performance Reviews, how the system converts the relative weights and the summation at the end of the year to populate the overall scores.

Reason for choosing ClayHR

The demonstration went well and a lot of the features fits into our current needs.

IT has all the feature which is required and my favorite is performance management feature as it has vast function which solve you all the problem. Yes I think you can go for it as it has free trial version so if you have doubt you can go for trial version what I did but I am sure after that you will go for paid version like me.

Pros

Best feature of this first it has trial version so you can try it yourself and then go for paid version and also it has Certified HR Consultant who help you to improve your existing HR process. It give you perfect and effective solution for performance management as it has feature like 360 feedback , analysis of feedback and others so you can easily track the performance of employee and the result also help you in R&R. It has HR features which is required for a mid and large cap business.

Cons

Sometime I have to refresh multiple time but other then that it didn't have any cons. you can go for it.

It is a new HR system newly implemented by our HR service. I haven' got a chance to test all fonctions, but so far so good.

Pros

simple presentation, easy operating, several functions in one system to save time for work

Cons

I'm based in France, sometimes it shows the fields in French sometimes it shows in English, despite I set English as preference language.

Pros

I like Workflow with Tasks. Onboarded employee can easily, step by step understand, what else needs to be done. Also for employees good to have all personal information in one place.

Cons

Buttons in ToDo list (inProgress, Submitted, etc) are clickable, but user don't know about it. On Button hoover mouse cursor not changing to "finger", so users do not click on them usually (HR girls told to me). It's need to be fixed! Also user see many notifications on buttons about the same toDo list. I see in 6 (!) places red bubble with number about unfinished tasks, but that's all about the SAME toDo list!

main problem is that users can not choose or control who can view their wall of fame. somtimes searching filter does not work properly using text search.
