Pros Really straightforward UX allows for quick creation and setup of webinars. Frictionless registration process with good customization options. Seamless performance during webinars. Cons Just not-picking, but resolution of shared presentations could be a bit higher. But only needed for small details (which anyway usually should not have a place in presentations). I only have the one issue with the service, which I am hoping they will fix and expect they will. The team is responsive and the product is easy to customize. The deployment is great and the data tracking is better than I have experienced with other solutions. Pros Outside of a Chrome browser there is no need for additional software, this is a major plus in my opinion and the ability to add participants to the "Stage" for more interactivity is excellent. Cons The "Follow Up Survey" in this software does not exist. The user is forced to an external survey which loses 100% of the user tracking data making the follow up very weak. If the tool is to be used in any way to drive biz dev, this is likely a bad option. It is surprising actually, because the coding and product itself shows that there is talent behind the programming so the additional of a simple survey should be a no-brainer. We deliver our own webinars plus webinars for clients. With up to 6 video streams we can have panels which have been great. We can also profile the panelists (guest speakers) on the registration page which is nice. Our clients also really appreciate the user data we can given them afterwards using the analytics and data export functions of LiveStorm. Cons The support hours are slightly different to Australian business hours. Although there online user guides are very comprehensive. Owner / CTO Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Solid performance" September 4, 2020 5.0 We had been looking for the right combination of performance and toolsets for hosting live and recorded webinars for our IT business, and many laid big claims but did not deliver on reproduction quality or latency. The results we received on Livestorm were exactly what we were expecting - minimal delay, low latency, no buffering, smooth audio quality which allowed us to put together a very professional production. Pros The ease of getting our first webinar off the ground was a delight. Having trial ran several other contenders, we found that getting up and running out of the box was rather intuitive, and did not result in any significant headaches. No lag in the audio/video were seen in our test/trial production, and no reports from viewers on our live webinar or recorded version. The marketing tools are decent (could use a bit more ability to customize email templates - or perhaps I just haven't found the keys to that part of the castle yet. All-in-all, a very stable platform with outstanding performance where it matters most, delivery of product. Cons Nothing that really stood out as a major detractor - I could ask for an easier way to distribute in-webinar resources (downloadable PDF aids) without requiring the use of 3rd party file sharing sites such as DropBox. Email template editor is a bit sparse. Would like to have the option to upload an HTML email template so that full corporate branding could accomplished. We use OBS to perform scene overlays - and found that using OBS-Camera required us to mirror the output so that viewers saw things in the correct orientation. No deal breakers, certainly. June 28, 2017 5.0 It allows us to create live webcasts that feature experts from our community in a way that connects them with more people and drives real value to both parties. Pros It's so easy to setup and is basically on autopilot to the event. I love the landing pages (they convert like crazy), the emails are beautiful, and the reminders are perfect. It's got the right amount of customizations and just about anyone can learn to use it quickly. Our customers have been delighted with the experience - the video is stream is smooth, audio is clear, and chat/polls/questions works perfect. It's also very affordable compared to other products. Cons Right now it has a limited capacity of 500 attendees and we'd like to host more. I understand they're working on it, so it's not that big of an issue. Pros No software to install and update. It's a real SaaS even on mobile. Our international clients have always been able to connect hassle-free. The logic of the sessions (on the same topic) is a plus for those who have recurring content. I like the uploaded content-sharing tool. It makes it easy to broadcast PDF, video, etc. We are trying to make the API work with our CRM. Should be done soon. Cons The "team member" status is a bit weird. If a colleague wants to attend an event of your company, the admin has to invite him/her as a team member (a kind of co-host). Otherwise, he/she can't subscribe. It does all the tricks that you mostly have in mind but customization-wise, there's still some room to go. I like that for a fixed amount of €€ per month, the platform still does a variety of things for you. Cons I only miss some additional features for advanced streaming, i.e. RTP output, but there's a worqaround in case you want to use an external streaming platform. Cons Not sure if is least, but I would like if there was an option to send a recording of a live session for only 24 hrs or an expiry date. Also your lesson on how to connect livestorm to eventbright through zappier was a bit outdated, maybe the zappier version changed since because I had a hard time figuring some points out. Before COVID-19, we were using a different webinar platform that gave us constant headaches. Since we switched over to Livestorm (luckily right before the pandemic hit), we are averaging about a webinar a day. While there have been occasional stability issues and some bumps in the road, Livestorm has more often than not been up to the task. They also have a fantastic customer service team. Pros Easy to use and intuitive. We've had very little trouble training our team of Outreach Managers on how to use this software. All the in-webinar features are useful and appreciated. Cons Limited capacity for webinars is not an issue for us most of the time, but has occasionally been a problem. We would also love to see an integration for Livestorm with Salesforce. Whenever we have guest speakers on our webinars it takes less than 5 minutes to teach them how to use it because it's just so easy. Before Livestorm we were using another programme that had constant issues and I'm pleased to say we've never had an issue with our live broadcasts in Livestorm. I also like that your recordings are available instantly. Cons We've only ever had one issue with the embedded code but the support staff were quick to jump on and get it sorted. For this we don’t need to install any software on our local system. All the things stays inside the browser so it will save user system memory. They has good customer service because of the frequent updates they provide. While conferencing you can record the video. Audience can poll and ask questions. It will also gives you the reminders about the event or conference. So it is a good software to do webinar. Cons Sometimes I faced connectivity issue but else it is fine to use because we can ignore some disadvantages in front of many advantages. The whole subscription based on active contacts per month, instead of number of participants per session, makes this tool a bit pricey. Pros It's really easy to set up, email templates and registration page all look really professional. Design-wise, it looks great, as well as works great. Cons I wish I could name each session within an event with individual names. For this reason, I've had to create several different registration pages for webinars with different contents - It would be better to use the same registration page, and display different sessions with its own descriptive webinar name. I have asked a lot of questions and they are able to quickly point me to an answer. Overall very happy. I an in the US. We just did a webinar where our moderator was in Germany, presenter was in Switzerland and audience was all around the world. Worked flawlessly! Pros Ease of use for both our team and for people viewing our webinars was very important. It checks that box. No downloads required and lots of nice automations and integrations. Also like the modern design. Other's we looked at just seemed clunky. Cons If you asked me 3 weeks ago I would have said that I did not like that the recording feature did not record uploaded videos unless using screen capture. That is not an issue because they have introduced this capability. Seems like they have added new functionality every week. Reason for choosing Livestorm We evaluated a bunch of different products.
