Pros Though it was the first time I was using a Webinar tool, Livestorm behaved exactly as I expcted it to. It has all the features I need, it's easy to find'em and work perfectly fine. Some of these features I expected and which worked perfectly were: Customizable email campaign before webinar, multi-host, screen-sharing, post-webinar email, and some other I'm forgetting right now. Cons As we started using it at the beginning of Covid, servers were slow for a couple days but they fixed the issue right on time for D-Day and it worked perfectly afterward. Bravo! Pros The automated emails before and after the webinar, the ability to invite a co-host that's not a user, the registration pages are very clean, adding more sessions to a pre-existing webinar is very easy, and you have the option to duplicate webinars. Pros We choose Livestorm because it is so easy to use and what is most important: Attendees don't have to install any software on their computers to join a webinar. They can simply join via a common browser. The helpdocs are really helpful and I haven't experienced such a good support before. Cons At first we struggled with some screen sharing issues but thanks to the great support everything is solved now. Livestorm was perfect. It does everything it says it will do. When I've run into problems or questions, customer support is great. Pros Attendees don't have to install software on their computer to attend our live classes. They can listen in from their cell or tablet if they're away from their computer. It's easy for us to use. Settings are saved from one event to another. Very flexible. The recording is clean and quickly available for download. The reports are detailed and helpful. Cons I there were a connection between our WooCommerce store and Livestorm without Zapier; otherwise, it's perfect. Overall it has been highly effective and easy to use. The browser compatibility is a big plus when the market for software is so competitive, the easy to use email system makes it much easier for all team members to run events, and the data analytics available are a big plus. Moreover, on the few occasions that they are required, the support team are always excellent. Cons Initially there were difficulties in securing mobile access for mobile users, particularly guest speakers. Livestorm was selected to run this webinar, and quickly became our go-to platform for the larger scale presenter-led events. The simplicity of use with Livestorm has been a real plus. Whenever implementing new systems, you don't want to have to be spending time learning how to use. Livestorm is really quick to pick up and show others how to use. Cons The system not working for presenters who usually use Edge/Explorer has proved challenging. We ask everyone to make sure they have Chrome already installed, but with many companies having IT security processes in place, it's not always easy to get installed in time for the event. Starting in March, our team was able to quickly learn and deploy Livestorm's webinar platform. Since then we've hosted over 25 webinar and have had a mostly positive experience. There have been a few connection errors and issues with loading media, but overall Livestorm has been an accessible and scalable system that allowed our team to efficiently manage several events. Pros The pros of Livestorm are: - Easy to use. Simple UI - Data collection system - Simplicity of recording and sharing the recording - Automated email system Cons Cons: - Can only have 6 people on the webinar stage - Limited design options and having certain features be compulsory (ex: mandatory filter color on banner image) - Can only share 1 media file at a time. We will add end-user training programs as experience develops. Pros Good quality downstream presentations. without the connectivity problems we've experienced with Team Viewer and Go To Meeting. I believe part of the improved quality is down to the presentation being received only as there is no video or audio back from the delegates taking up bandwidth. Delegates can type-in questions via a Chat box which works well. Cons The interface is not immediately intuative - trying to find which 'room' to do the things you needs does not at first pass seem to make sense. However, once established, like any piece of software once familiar the issues disappear. Whilst the customer support can be a little slow in response and live chat is only offered to Premium Customers, I have moved forward with the license based on the software capability for my Clients' specific needs. Pros For me, it is an end-to-end product that does not rely on downloading an app (web-browser based), complicated registration widgets and offers great analytics. The team offer a great, interactive live demo each week which gives great insights and offers you the opportunity to ask direct questions to the creators of the platform. Cons Hand up feature like zoom would be great. We would never concider other platform unless we will get out of the participants limit. It's a pity that it has limited participants and the limit is too low (1000 max). Support could be faster and more helpful, but the software is so easy to use that we didn't miss support (just at the beginning). Pros We really liked the ease of using this software. It has everything we actually needed - separate chat and Q&A tabs, enough 'places' for speakers, ease of sharing & showing media, ease of importing paid participants through Zapier. Cons The maximum of participants (atendees) is too small. It seems that soon we will outgrow the platform so we will have to search for new one. None of the other platforms seem as great as this one. I especially like the fact that they pulled our branding from outside sources so I didn't have to create registration pages from scratch. It was very seamless to get up and running. Cons The only caveat that I see at this point is when I shared my screen, but was still viewing the webinar controls, I got this "Inception" effect. Like a picture, within a picture, within a picture, and so on. It only happens when I am on the control viewer and showing my screen. It has been an incredible smooth experience not only for us staff but also for our event attendees. It allows us to have full control of the webinars and it is very easy to customize. Cons It would be handy to improve the squares of each presenter alongside presentations. As the presentation can take of the whole screen it minimizes out speakers quite a bit.
