You have both choices to use a techie part or an easy drag and drop part. You can always have the freedom of choice so it's a nice software. It offers a variety of services which makes it a powerful software for online marketing. Pros I like the part where you can use their template in making newsletters. Also if you want to go very technical you can use the coding option to code directly your preference or you can use the drag and drop feature which can give you lots of options or make your job faster. Get a response not only to send a newsletter but can also to host webinars and creating landing pages. This is really a powerful online marketing tool for companies. In my experience, I mainly use it to send newsletters for a birthday greeting to my colleagues or even or clients' birthday. It also has scheduled send featured which is very helpful since you can just create the newsletter very early and set the date to be send and your good to go! Cons So far I didn't have encountered a bad part of the software. Getresponse is very easy to use and doesn't need too much-complicated knowledge to operate it. The user interface and statistics features along with autoresponder makes it a good email app overall. Pros GetResponse is easy to use. It has various features such as landing page, and autoresponder which helps in email automation. Cons The email subscribers needs to increased from 1000 subscribers to more for basic users. With this tool, I am able to see the big picture and handle every step of my client's path separately, but on one place. I can link landing pages to campaigns and pace the flow of my system in whatever way I like best. So, no need to put together many tools = more practicality. The workflow and the live tracking of the email openings. Cons Doing the first month when I was still on the trial package, I lost my workflow just because I upgraded to the standard package instead of the Pro package, I was told I used some Pro elements in my workflow. It is a real step up from Mailchimp and I am getting great value out of it in my inbound marketing. The price is also fantastic. Cons I would say the only con is that you would want to have all of the features, which obviously aren't included in the cheaper plans. You will need to budget (depending on your list size) to get the best value. I do love the built-in responsive template, you may never need to create a custom template for your emails. If you are moving from one email marketing site, you can easily import your existing lists. You will get value for money if you are starting up and need quality not quantity Cons The pricing structure is a bite confusing and not user friendly, the free trial is also waste of time. July 31, 2018 3.0 Pros The thing that initially drew me to GetResponse was it's broad range of features. In-depth user segmentation features, landing page software, popups, etc... However after a few months of using this software, I'm a bit torn (you can read my cons below). Let me focus on the pros of GetResponse. It's a powerful email marketing tool. It allows for supplement companies to use it, which was important to me. It has many different features, which are great. Cons The user interface is not great with Get Response. This makes it very difficult to get around the software and find settings. Also, it doesn't integrate into Shopify (my e-com platform) very easily. For instance, I can't track my sales from Get Response into my store, which is a badly needed feature. Get Response also makes it difficult to do more complex segmenting. It allows for user flows, but you can't track to on-website events (such as sales). October 9, 2018 5.0 I have used GR as a funnel tool as well as a program to help me with my Shopify store. I can send emails to my customers that look great right out of the "box". Pros I was just about to spend $97.00 per month for a way to create affiliate funnels when I tried GetResponse. This application gives you so much for your money I was surprised. I am able to do so much for so little per month. GetResponse support is also very good. They have some really nice support people who are experts and help me out all the time. Great program!! Landing Pages are very Professional and High Converting, many to choose from and many categories to even build it from scratch. Pros It has Landing Pages, More Contacts and $4 cheaper than AWeber alone. I love AWeber too but GetResponse has taught me a great deal and it is working better professionally and financially! Cons I didn't like that I have to replace all the gif links in the HTML editor with the new link that gets a response assigned to my images, is very manual and you have to be extra careful because if you delete something the e-mail mess up. I had high hopes for the platform but unfortunately it was just to difficult to learn and not very intuitive. The customer service is impeccable just wasn't a good fit for what I needed.
