April 24, 2018 5.0 I benefited GetResponse because unlike other platforms, this has given me a better comfort to have Email Marketing within my company, the stay within this platform is a more advanced stay. Pros I like that GetResponse is a software that has nothing complex, that all its functions, absolutely all, are easy to use and have no risk of something going wrong in the configuration of Email Marketing. Cons It is not good that GetResponse has such bad customer service, this affects recurrently in the use that is given, since it would not be comfortable to be configuring the platform, and that has a poor support to address the customer's doubts. Pros What I like most about GetResponse is that it allows you to create mailing lists of visitors to your blog, website or business, helping you to develop solid relationships with them through email. Cons The problem with GetResponse, is the price, in this way, having an automation of GetResponse, it turns out to be something very expensive, and I would like it to be something cheaper and accessible for most people. Pros I am pleased that GetResponse is a software with a quite innovative design, with colors that really please and give life to the platform, make it much more reliable and secure with respect to the stored data. Cons I do not like that GetResponse has such high prices, however, I consider that it does not have other errors, it is a very automated software and the only negative detail that I see is that of the high prices it has. Pros What I like most about GetResponse is the excellent way in which you can work from any device and carry out a campaign using a simple mobile phone, it is very practical software. Cons I do not like that GetResponse has such high prices, obviously its functions make it quite expensive software, but I would like some prices to go down some plans for better accessibility when buying plans. Pros I like GetResponse because it is a platform where you do not need to read instructions, it is one of the few marketing platforms that are easy to use, because here you can adapt services too quickly. Cons I have not had complaints about the services offered by GetResponse, and I hope it continues like this for a long time as I see that it is a stable platform capable of completely satisfying the client. They lie about a free trail it's only available for start ups and not established buisnesses I spent 580 to try for 5 days don't waste time or money here they will not refund they will take your money they lie. I went with GetResponse because of the lower end pricing tier and what it offered and am very happy. Don't have any issues with email going to junk so far and it has done everything I've wanted it to. Pros The pricing tiers. If you are brand new or dealing with relatively smaller email lists, this is the budget friendly option that gives you the most value. Others will charge double at the lowest tier for the same thing. Autoresponder worked well and other features like landing pages and multiple send from addresses are great. Cons The interface. The software is quite advanced but I couldn't help but feel the UI needs some updating. It does everything very well, it should just be easier to use especially from a visual standpoint in seeing exactly how each autoresponder/ particular list is treated in your account Review Source PC Pamela C. Online Digital Marketer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "It is A Great Email Marketing Tool for Beginners" September 28, 2022 5.0 Pros There are so many reasons why I would easily recommend GetResponse to anyone online; they offer very competitive prices, and I adore being able to send broadcasts at the optimal moments for each recipient to read them. Additionally, you can send follow up emails based on the contacts' behavior and resend emails on autopilot if the initial one is not opened after few days. Above all, it comes with a free plan that allows up to 500 subscribers which allowed me to get acquainted with the system and how it works as a beginner back then. If you have a small budget and are limited on design skill, it would be a good option for you. Pros GetResponse offers a good amount of features for what you pay. Landing pages and email marketing are easy to use and design. Segmenting contacts and the use of sign up sheets really helps keep things organized as well as automatic emails for sign ups. For small businesses or independent creatives, GetReponse would offer good value for your budget. There is a bit of a learning curve but is easy once you get the hang of it. Cons I wish GetResponse would offer more elements for both email and landing page designs for more flexibility in design. It sometimes will take longer amounts of time to implement a design I want due to having to play around with different features and sizes to get the look I want. Pros With a help of a tutorial, it was really fast to set up my account, email list and landing page. Cons Most of the emails I sent using this tool end up in spam or trash box. Most of my leads didn't confirm the subscription email, and I know (because I test it with some friends) that they did not confirm it because they did not see the email. There are superior products in the marketplace for the same price. The biggest issue is their business practice - they are offering a FREE trial so they can get you in and bank on you forgetting - they should send an email - Hey, we charged your CC again... Bad business. Pros The free trial - but after testing, we quickly realized that it isn't very good. The system is weak compared to other similarly priced platforms in the market. Cons The free trial that auto-renews. This is a scam business model. We didn't catch the CC statements for 6 months. So basically - they don't email you, don't send any updates or notices, etc. they essentially go radio silent in hopes you don't remember. When you are running through a number of systems it is easy to forget... with hundreds of transactions on our CC - it is easy to gloss over it. Finally caught it and cancelled account. Alternatives considered [Campaign Monitor by Marigold](https://www.capterra.com/p/76928/Campaign-Monitor/)[Mailchimp](https://www.capterra.com/p/110228/MailChimp/) Reason for choosing GetResponse No - we ultimately moved forward with Campaign Monitor. Get Response just kept billing our CC even though we had ZERO account activity after the original test. Unfortunately I ended up getting out of the projects I had got it for and ended up cancelling my subscription. But it was one of the better autoresponders I have used. Pros I liked how professional it looks and it wasn't really too hard to set up both the auto-response and the opt-in box. Also I appreciated how it could be used as a newsletter sender. Pardot, Constant Contact seem easier to use and more powerful and with better support. Pros It does the job most of the time. It can send to large groups and it can include some dynamic fields. Cons It seems very b2b focused...so b2c recipients with Gmail or Yahoo addresses get blocked. They seem very worried about getting shut down if they allow users to include emails with a hint of concern. Didn't find ability to personalize subject lines. So long as you are happy to use one of the entry-level 'Email' plans, Getresponse is on the whole a better option than many of its key competitors, particularly if you have a relatively large number of email addresses on your database.
