Recently they have evolved a lot by adding multiple features like CRM, landing pages and webinar hosting. It has wide range of pre-defined templates and automatic responder feature as well. Subscribers get e-newsletter after defined interval. Its plan are way cheaper then other apps if you are using email plan. It has 24/7 customer support. Cons Drag and drop interface needs to be improved. There are not multiple fonts options in e-newsletter. phone support is not provided. Review Source AM Amalia M. Used the software for: ### "Great value and reability" January 13, 2017 5.0 At first glance, it appears not immediately easy to use, but when comparing it to other autoresponders it is one of the most intuitive. It allows you to create endless lists and send Broadcast (Newsletter) and Follow Up. There are several ready-made templates, and you can import your own, then just insert the object and the text of the mail you want to send, choose whether to send it immediately or set a day and time in which we prefer to postpone the sending and it's done. It is also easy to create a sign-up form to include in your landing pages. Just choose from the various templates and customize it by changing the text. GetResponse will provide the HTML code to include in the website or page. Reliability ------------- This is the most important thing to consider when you choose an autoresponder. GetResponse from this point of view is second to none, the reliability is its strong point. It uses powerful latest-generation strategies to circumvent spam filters and to reach the email receiver. They have a funnel feature that helps visually and a great price to start on. Pros I switched over from Flodesk because of one functionality and the cheaper price. So far it's been a learning curve. Cons A bit overwhelming when you look at the dashboard at first, it takes a while to get used to where all the links are. Marketing Director Used the software for: ### "Very disappointing" August 19, 2014 2.0 Where to start - the interface is not really drag and drop as it advertises, to edit any component requires a series of clicks that makes using the templates incredibly frustrating. For example, you cannot even drag a text box to move it half an inch up the page. To edit a box, you can't click on it, you have to hover until you see the edit and click directly there, otherwise you get a highlighted box that you can't do anything with. It is obvious the system is really just a glorified email handler so the process does not follow a logical path for anything else, like creating a landing page and then setting up the email campaign to add users who have clicked a CTA, and starting an automation sequence. It's like having 4 different systems pieced together haphazardly. To make matters worse, the system freezes on a regular basis. This is a huge disappointment, as the concept is brilliant (one system to handle email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and surveys) but the actual system falls way flat. And if you're on a trial, forget support - they don't care at all about helping new potential customers get the most out of the experience so they will buy. Forget it, don't waste your time. It helped me keep in touch with potential customers. Pros The software allows the user to set up many separate campaigns. Each one can be manipulated to send automated emails of any things you wish on whatever day u want. It’s easy to design the emails and pick the days and to implement the software for personal or business use. Cons The software was more complicated when using the mobile web version to design the emails. I used the desktop computer instead. Also the Speed of response and always being there available is a game changer for me. GetResponse support is really fast. they are kind and knowledgable, which makes it really easy to solve any issue. Cons We had a problem with MailChimp not keeping an up-to-date list of our contacts, requiring us to call numerous times to have the list "refreshed", and because of that, switched to GetResponse.The lists on GetResponse can be a bit "clunky" to get used to, with search options specifically. I understand that you get what you pay for, and in this case, that's exactly what happens. Cons The dashboard is really confusing and it's not very user friendly at all. It's weird to me that they have this as an email option and CRM and yet building out emails is so difficult. I enjoyed the simple UI and specific features that allowed me to meet all my needs. Cons Overall, the software is great and the UI is simple which is easy to use. It is not great for complex reporting on your email sends. It allows comparison analysis but only between two emails. I would have liked to see some more robust reporting module. You can easily conncet it with other software and CMS systems. Cons I've worked with MailChimp and ActiveCampaign too which are direct competitors to GetResponse and I must say that I like these two alternatives much more. There is just something with the GetResponse design that bothered me so much that I switched to ActiveCampaign as soon as I could. Pros I like Get Response, because it's an easy to use autoresponder with a great landing page creator with many different customizable templates. It's all drag and drop, no coding necessary. Cons I don't like how the price goes up significantly when someone's list grows. The plans start out cheap but the pricing is an issue once the list grows big.
