Really fun tool to use in presentations to keep people engaged and provide questions to the audience

Cons

Nothing really, it is incredibly intuitive so there isn’t a learning curve. The results you get from the surveys is instant and easy to share

my overall experience with Slido has been quite positive. It begins meetings, quickly gathers data and shows analysis of the data in lifetime, which is nice because it quickly shows what is a general consensus of the feelings of the people in the meeting. When it was used for less serious topics and more about breaking the ice, it was also really fun to use as conversation starters. Because it could also be anonymous, it really allowed people in the meeting to express your thoughts.

Pros

What I like most about Slido was how it quickly brought together meetings with surveys and polls. With this feature, we were all able to see the data collected and analyze very quickly, and it became a start of specific conversation conversations. Especially if it was an open discussion forum, using Slido gave the meeting an opportunity to gather topics for discussion.

Cons

It’s hard to say what I’d like least about it because it was really easy to set up from the back end and the user end.

Easy to integrate with PowerPoint as a presenter, and easy to use as an attendee. Mobile and computer-based interfaces are equally straightforward.

Cons

Sometimes it is tricky to advance past a leaderboard of responses. This feature is not appropriate for all presentations.

10/10 they really nailed it, and my company is happily using the app for many years at our events and workshops (both live and online). It supports simultaneous inputs of 300+ people (in our case), and no bugs appeared. It’s really an industry standard and can recommend it

Pros

It’s a perfect tool for having polls on live events as well as on online meetings and webinars. Their PowerPoint integration works seamlessly, which is of great value so that you don’t have to switch screens when ending presentation and switching to the poll. Slido is intuitive and easy to use, and shows live poll results in a great way. Collecting data and inputs is very easy and just scan the QR code, which opens live poll on their mobile web browser (no registration or app needed). Their Q&A tab also works nicely, allowing users to ask questions during and after the poll ended, which makes transition from poll to q&a part of the workshop seamless

Cons

I can’t say much about the cons, as the app is really good. It’s important to download slido app for integration with PowerPoint, but once that’s done, it’s very easy to add polls you created online to PPT

I have been using the free version for several years now. A speaker used it during a presentation years ago and I simply fell for it. I have been using it a few times a year since (hence my reluctance to go for the full version...I do not need it extensively). An amazing product , easy to set up and eaysi to us durin a live presentation , virtual or face to face.

Pros

This one is sooooo easy to learn! For me, and most importantly , for the participants! And versatile! Surveys, quizzes, word clouds... you name it, you've got it!

Cons

Limited options on the free version but hey... Some functions are more difficult to use on a cell phone that they are on a tablet or the desktop version. Nothing that would prevent me from using it on a cell phone, however. But one has to practice in advance as this could be a be disconforting in fron a a live audience.

Overall happy with slide and great results from using it in a pitch. Good reaction from those listening to the presentation and a great way to interact without disrupting the flow of the deck.

Pros

This was very user friendly and integrate well with google slides. It’s a nice way to make your presentation interactive. Due to the integration it doesn’t have glitches with switching platforms like some of the other survey extensions. The free version works great for most use cases.

Cons

The interface is very basic and doesn’t have many customization options as far as aesthetic. It is free so I can’t complain but ideally I would like to be able to make it look like a branded part of the greater slide deck/presentation.

My experience with Slido as been positive. It has enhanced a number of meetings I have fun, helping engagement and testing learning.

Pros

The ability to make surveys, word clouds, quizzes, etc and embed them into PowerPoints to use in presentations and meetings. I love the speed of the answers appearing on screen live and the way the answers are saved online after.

Cons

There are many limitations with a free version of the app, but it is still very helpful. I found it difficult to duplicate questions and make changes that then use a different QR code for participants.

Pros

It is a decent tool for engaging meeting participants with various interactive tools, such as Live Polls, QA, Quizzes, etc. It not only makes your meetings and presentations impactful but also helps you to measure the success of the same with its great analytics feature.

Cons

Slido ensured that the event was perfectly prepared and made more impactful. It enabled us to deliver an engaging and fun experience and effectively engage the audience.

Pros

Slido has a clean and easy-to-use user interface, navigation and setup are always simple. Slido is great for preparing engaging and effective presentations before virtual meetings or events. I loved the ease of setting up live polls and syncing them with presentations, which added great value to our pre-meeting preparations, enabling us to engage the audience and respond to their questions early on.

Cons

No negatives at all, always look forward to new Slido updates that include ideas and integrations that simplify the workflow even more.

Pros

This software is integrated nicely into PowerPoint and facilitates audience engagement.

Cons

Slido is located in Slovakia. In my case, my bank balked at using a business card for their products. I requested an invoice to see if I could pay that way: the only other solution was an overseas bank transfer, which appeared suspicious and unsafe. However, they unlocked the product anyway and billed me later for it - I had no idea that in requesting an invoice, I'd committed to use of the product and payment by bank transfer. This is the only software product I've ever known to give access to a product without payment first: I believed I was using the free version for that reason. I did not use the full functionality of Slido because I did not know I had it but was billed anyway. They've been relentlessly hounding me about this for weeks since then.
