File sharing is also convenient, making it easy to distribute meeting materials and important documents to board members in one place. Cons The platform can take some time for new users to become familiar with all of its features which can cause a little inconvinience. Now they simply vote from their phones and it tracks what they voted for for audit purposes later. It locks down the data so I am not worried about security threats as often. I can also use the tool to create a new meeting document by copying an existing meeting document which is the only reason I am able to get this done so quick. Pros I was somewhat surprised by how well the minute maker worked and it did not destroy all of my other tools. I have a lot of food debris on my desk, but the agenda builder allowed me to drag file into the app without any delay today. Cons Setup took forever (I thought I was going to throw my laptop against the wall lol). Automatic numbering of agenda item is a disaster and looks terrible every time I add a new section. I've worked with several fantastic people in the past and present to maintain our account and solve problems. Pros Both functionality and usability are excellent. It is simple to use even with all the bells and whistles. Our company meetings are sometimes held in here. Its easy to use and create and join any meeting. Cons It is annoying because the meeting feature doesn't integrate with Outlook's calendaring. It impedes effective user-to-user communication over RSVPs for meetings. creates more work for everyone. Decent design. Cons There has be worse portal software out there somewhere, but it's hard to imagine. Antiquated login procedures, attachments don't always stay attached, doesn't function at all with Android phones, hard to print from it. None of our Board members are happy with it. Almost surely it would be better if NASDAQ didn't own it, in fact maybe it was better before NASDAQ owned it. Review Source HS Heather S. Pros What I like most about NASDAQ Boardvantage is their customer support. Not only are always helpful and pleasant, but they are readily available. Cons The software is super easy to use. I have guided people over the phone. What I don't like is my company's point person keeps changing. I am not sure if they are moving to other positions within the company, or they have high turnover. Pros Functionality and ease of use are both fantastic. With all the bells and whistles it is easy as a user. Cons None. Cons The learning curve for new members could be a bit steep but our company has done a great job of developing learning tools as well as leveraging the e-learnings available on Boardvantage to flatten that curve. Pros Nasdaq Boardvantage is a great place to safely and securely house Board of Director materials. The application is very intuitive which makes for easy use of the application either on a laptop or ipad. Customer support has always been helpful when assisting in any type of question or issue. Cons Only real con is that with the pandemic and everyone meeting not in the same location, Nasdaq BoardVantage does not offer audio/video conferencing along with being able to present content similar to WebEx from a laptop or ipad. I do enjoy being able to edit files in the software and my favorite feature is the Presenter Mode. Cons Any issues I have had with the software has been related to my browser, not the software. At the moment I believe I am receiving way too many emails from Nasdaq it is a bit overkill there are 1 or 2 and sometimes more in my In Box for Nasdaq every day. On top of all the other emails I am receiving it does not give me sufficient time to look at them all. Pros It saves me a lot of time. It is pretty user friendly. I have always found the customer support to be fabulous. Cons The log in process is what I like the least about this software. Email system is not comfortable because I cannot see the precious email when creating new email.
