Their philosophy is a good one, in that they encourage you to use social proof in an honest way, and in a way that doesn't seem spammy. FOMO is fairly easy to use, especially for basic social proof, and with a little technical knowledge, you can do almost anything you want. I do wish their widget types were greater and there was easier integration with a few more tools. Pros FOMO doesn't overwhelm you with options. It is powerful, but doesn't throw everything in there. This might seem bad, but if you just need social proof popups and similar widgets, it does it, and it does it very well. I also love that it offers options for integrating with virtually any website or online system. And the onboarding is very slick. Cons Integrating FOMO can take a little more legwork. It can integrate with virtually any website, and bring in data from most places you would want, but it's not as easy as some other tools. You don't have to be a developer to integrate it, but you do need to dig into the code a little more. And many integrations require development knowledge through APIs. It’s made a big difference to our company and provided invaluable social proof. Pros Love the ability to send custom info from my CRM and customise it fully so it’s most impactful for future patients. Cons Sometimes can be confusing to change settings as some on top menu, others in hidden right menu. I get the lay out but sometimes when setting something up I find myself checking loads of pages to find the next step. Reasons for choosing Fomo Customisation available. We tested a number of other social proof and fomo apps but none of them had the number of features that FOMO has. Additionally, we found FOMO to be significantly more customizable. We were also incredibly impressed with the support team at FOMO. They were friendly, responsive, and very helpful. We are very happy we chose FOMO as our social proof partner. Pros Excellent support. I have tried other similar tools and Fomo was by far the most flexible and easy to set up. It has only been a few months now and we look forward to the months ahead as we push their capabilities more. Pros The three things I like most about Fomo are: 1. It has the flexibility to do what we need for each of our websites and enough options to even keep our designer happy, which is no small feat with anything out of the box. 2. Easy implementation, even for an non-tech person. I was worried about being able to do it myself, but the dashboard is well laid out, the instructions were easy to understand and the structure in mercifully logical. 3. Great support, always prompt and helpful. Cons As we look at rolling out some global campaigns I was very concerned about being able to support a per transaction pricing model, however, they showed me how I can mitigate that and still have effective social proof, and Fomo offers generous support for non-profits. So far I don't have any other cons to report.
