Overall, my experience with Culture Amp has been great. The platform is user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate for both administrators and employees. I particularly appreciate the AI Coach feature, which provides helpful guidance and support throughout the performance management process. One area for improvement is the manager rating scale. Currently, there is no clear option for employees who meet expectations but do not necessarily exceed them. The scale moves from "Does Not Meet Expectations" to "Exceeds Expectations," which can make it difficult to accurately assess solid performers who are successfully fulfilling the requirements of their role. Adding a "Meets Expectations" rating would provide managers with a more balanced and accurate way to evaluate employee performance.

Pros

I've had a positive experience with Culture Amp. The platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and easy to navigate for both administrators and employees. The AI Coach is a valuable feature that helps support managers and employees by providing guidance and suggestions throughout the performance management process. Overall, the system is straightforward to use, encourages engagement, and makes performance conversations and feedback more accessible across the organization.

Cons

One area for improvement is the manager rating scale. The current options move from "Does Not Meet Expectations" directly to "Exceeds Expectations", which can make it difficult to accurately assess employees who are consistently meeting expectations by not necessarily exceeding them. I am very pleased with the ease of use of Culture Amp, the support they provide, the interpretation of results and the data analytics available post survey.

Pros

Before selecting Culture Amp as our survey provider, we explored several others. The value of the services offered by Culture Amp far surpassed what was available through the other providers. The ease of use and availability of tech support when needed was also something we found highly beneficial.

Cons

The language and semantics can sometimes be confusing, particularly when it comes to launching the surveys. It helps to have tech support close at hand.

Pros

What I like most about Culture Amp is that it’s not just about collecting survey data, it actually helps you do something with it. It combines strong people science with really practical tools, so you can understand what’s driving engagement and then support leaders to take action. I also think the focus on manager enablement is a big plus. It gives managers clear insights and simple next steps, which makes it easier to turn feedback into real change. From a P&C perspective, it’s a nice balance of strategic insights and practical application. I also LOVE the chatbot - one of the best ones I have used.

Cons

One limitation is that it doesn’t support a structured probation review cycle. For organisations that rely on formalised probation check-ins or documented milestones, it means you need to build workarounds or manage it outside the platform, which adds a bit of complexity. Given the annual cost, I think it's a given it should be offered.

The experience since we starting engaging with Culture Amp until we started using it has been great. Our employees love the product and we are exploring how we can make more of it.

Pros

Easy to use for the team and employees, AI summary of comments from the survey is invaluable. Customer service is great. Gives us great insights into what our employees are thinking.

Cons

We had few issues when we launched our latest survey with the hierarchy and it took a whole day to get it fixed which has not been great as the survey was live. Otherwise I can't think of anything else :)

Overall, my experience with Culture Amp has been very positive. It is a robust and well-designed platform that helps simplify many People Operations processes while still providing meaningful insights into employee engagement and performance. The platform is easy to use, visually clear, and integrates well with our HR systems, which saves time and improves accuracy. I especially appreciate how straightforward it is to manage employee-related workflows and access reporting and analytics. Culture Amp has been a valuable tool for supporting employee experience initiatives, and despite a few areas where additional administrative flexibility would help, I consider it a very complete and reliable system.

Pros

Culture Amp has a very intuitive and user-friendly interface, which makes it easy for both administrators and employees to navigate the platform without extensive training. The layout is clean, information is easy to find, and the overall experience feels very streamlined. One of the features I value the most is the integration with our HRIS, which helps keep employee data synchronized and reduces manual work for the People Operations team. It also makes processes such as surveys, performance reviews, and employee management much more efficient, and the ability to schedule surveys is also valuable.

Cons

One limitation I have noticed is that once a survey has been sent to an employee, there is no simple way to fully cancel or delete it. Having the ability to retract or remove a survey after sending it would be very useful in situations where a survey was triggered by mistake or needs to be adjusted. In some cases, a bit more flexibility around survey management and administration tools would improve the experience for HR teams. Aside from that, the platform works very well overall and I had never experience any bugs or issues.

We use CultureAmp to collect and provide semi-annual peer and management performance feedback. The platform is relatively simple and straightforward.

Cons

At times I have to go back and forth a bit until I find a review I'm looking for. I'd look forward to an updated menu system.

Experience overall has been great. We use Culture Amp all the time it really helps with managing and understanding our team engagement.

Pros

I like that with Culture Amp it provides surveys to use, edit or you can create your own. The functionality is great and love the AI insights.

Cons

When reviewing survey results in Culture Amp, I'd like to see not only the percentage breakdown showing favorable, neutral, or unfavorable responses for each question, but also the individual response weights. Essentially, while maintaining anonymity, it would be helpful to view each person's answers without names and understand how their responses contributed to the overall scoring.

They are great! they have a simple product, their team is the BEST at reaching out to our staff or just explaining new highlights or features. They are just a superb company!

Pros

I think it is a great software for most companies! They excel in simple company surveys for any size company.

Cons

I think they need to have a couple more options for the 1 on 1s for managers to use, and maybe some more basic simple surveys to just use more daily or trainings.

Pros

I love that culture amp allows me to provide real time feedback to my colleagues, specially to recognize their great work and how it impacts my role.
