Any drawbacks are seemingly outweighed by the amount of time and money saved by being able to quickly integrate and automate processes between various services and platforms. Pros Make's ability to integrate with a wide array of services and platforms that may or may not be integratabtle otherwise has really helped our org streamline the creation of some vital business processes as well as streamlining the actual processes themselves as well. The tool is highly reliable and intuitive to set up and use. Cons Some of Make's UI can be a little frustrating to work with (in a very minor way) from time to time. Auto-saving and versioning features could be better as well. I did in 2 hours what I imagined would have taken me 1 month. It's crazy easy to setup Pros I love the fact that you can connect to any other tool to get data, and the webhooks setup is extremely simple. There is an almost endless amount of compatible apps that you can connect to and the workflows are easy to setup. Also, the benefit for startups makes it a really attractive deal for founders who are starting on a budget Cons Make is a great connector and automation tool, but it's just that. It's just a tool in your quiver, and you have to have active accounts on all the other platforms. it'd be great to not having to deal with it, maybe with an Oauth or similiar. It has expanded my horizons to workplace automation and operational efficiency in ways I didn't think were possible. Pros Make is a game-changer for business of any size, and has allowed our team to supercharge its workflows. We've created automations that are far more powerful than any native integrations on our platforms (i.e. Jotform's Monday.com integration, which doesn't support all column types like Make does). Make's customer service team is also top-notch and goes above and beyond to help problem solve. Cons The only thing is that I wish the error reporting information were more direct/helpful. That being said, if you read the documentation provided it explains everything. Sometimes the error reporting just goes over my head and/or can take a while to troubleshoot. November 29, 2023 2.0 Overall, integrating this with a custom developed platform was a painful process. It is an excellent tool for small to medium businesses that need to automate light processes (like requesting feedback after an order was placed, or autoreplying); but it falls short when it is needed for integrating with other custom APIs; as an example: a JSON schema cannot be defined upfront, it can only be inferred from an actual endpoint call - meaning that the model that Make suggest, may not reflect the actual response that will be received in various scenarios. The model definitions, are stored in a data store (which is also part of the platform), but the data store is extremely limited in terms of what it can store vs cost; so for custom solutions the costs will increase rapidly. Pros It provides a friendly and easy-to-use interface for defining and maintaining simple flows - these are called scenarios and they are comprised of tasks. It has connectivity with a wide range of services (pretty much all mainstream social apps, chat apps and email apps) The interface also allows you to see the general status of the execution, along with stats like number of running instances and an overview of completed/ failed scenarios. Also, the fact that this is provided as a SaaS solution made it appealing from a setup & configuration point of view. Cons It is lightweight, meaning that anything above defining a simple flow that sends messages to a number of persons is extremely hard to implement. Although it has support for JSON or for calling web APIs, this is cumbersome, even for a technical user. In a similar fasion, it comes with the ability to define webhooks, but these are generally focused on mainstream social media platforms. Additionally, the active scenarios overview is extremely light, it does not give information about the actual tasks, only about the scenario itself - at times, this made it hard for the business users to determine what had gone wrong. Para mí es la clave de tener más tiempo libre y menos trabajo. Pros Llevaba años buscando la manera de automatizar mi negocio, y nunca encontraba cómo, lo cual me frustraba. Hasta que me encontré con Make, que en 2021 se llamaba Integromat, y de repente me estalló la cabeza. Las posibilidades son infinitas, el único límite es el que tú te pongas a la hora de pensar qué y cómo automatizar... es más, la primera tarde que conocí esta app no me quería ir a la cama de todas las cosas que se me empezaron a ocurrir.La versión gratuita ya tiene muchísimas funciones con las que poder automatizar miles de acciones, yo acabé cogiendo la de pago, porque me sale rentable dada la cantidad de cosas que tengo delegadas a esta aplicación. Me parece ridículo de hecho pagar 9$ al mes por algo que me quita cantidades altísima de trabajo, especialmente administrativo, que lo podría hacer cualquiera.Desde que lo conocí no lo he parado de recomendar a autónomos y colegas, para hacerles la vida más fácil. May 18, 2022 4.0 Make is an excellent product overall, and in my opinion has the best mix of features, usability, features, etc. It also comes at a much lower price than Zapier for most uses. This is very important. Pros Make is one of the most flexible SAAS products on the market. Its interface is more intuitive to me than Zapier. I love the workflow diagram structure. It works with a huge number of different apps. When I started using it, I needed Zapier to fill in some of the gaps where Make could not complete the needed integration (at least natively). Since that time, Make has added nearly all of my required integrations. It also has the flexibility to work with the API directly. Cons Support takes a really long time to get back to you. Often times the response leaves something to be desired. Other times, the response is great (though slow). The transition from Integromat to Make was not handled very well. There are tonnes of complaints about problems caused as a result of the transition. Some of the complaints are warranted, others are overblown in my opinion. Would love the ability to run an automation again when things go wrong. This is currently missing (there may be a complex solution that I'm not aware of). Review Source Saira Y. Not the case here: I was able to completely Pros Integromat is, to me, more advanced and way better priced than Zapier. It supports a whole lot of apps, and has an excellent support for JSON and external APIs. It also provides webhook support. Their free tier has been very useful to me for years, and now that my needs have expanded I'm finding value in their next tier. Cons I still feel limited by the pricing scheme. The lower tier has enough operations and bandwidth for my needs now, but the time interval is 5 minutes, which adds up on my workflow. The next tier lowers the interval to 1 minute, but is significantly more costly (because it also adds more operations and bandwidth). However, it is still less expensive than Zapier and actually works for my needs compared to other cheaper alternatives. I've now moved all my automations to integromat as it is far superior to anything else on the market. Pros Integromat packs a punch when it comes to automating your business or personal tasks. The scenario builder, which allows you to visually build multiple routes with filters, is top notch. I use the app daily for me and my clients. Whenever I get stuck, I reach out to their support and they always amaze me with their fast responses and helpful advice. Their support makes this app, which can be a little confusing, very user friendly and easy to use. Cons Integromat is not designed for the everyday user. It is an advanced level automation app that does take some getting used to, and requires coding knowledge. I really wish they had more 'human shorthand' to simplify some things such as formatting dates, times etc, such as appending '+2h' to a time to add two hours, like zapier does. This would speed up and simplify making some scenarios. I've also found a few of their help docs are a little sparse and I wish there was more detailed documentation available. The trade off of needing to code certain data is that you truly can manipulate it anyway you want - if you know how to write the code to do it. And the shortfall in documentation is made up with their stellar support. Testing is another issue, as you cannot easily test scenarios, or re-run data through them. I love, love, LOVE using Integromat! It is so much fun to work with. The visual workflow is very intuitive, and makes it easy to visualize the complex workflows that I've been building. As mentioned in my Cons, the poor documentation made it very hard to learn some of the quirks of the platform, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. I highly suggest you do the same! Pros The awesome visual design makes it really easy to visualize data and workflows. The interface is much easier to work with than the typical list-based interface of major competitors. I've been really impressed with how much thought and polish has gone into this product! Integromat clearly understands the needs of data automation workflows, and it shows in the intuitiveness and powerful functionality of the product. Also, Integromat's free plan is very flexible, and allowed me to test the product with ease without having to worry about running into limits. Cons This is a big one, but I'm glad I didn't let it scare me away. Integromat's documentation is currently VERY poor. There are a lot of little quirks in the way Integromat works, particularly with handling arrays and objects ("collections"). It was only after a lot of trial and error and a few support requests that I figured out how all these things worked and was able to competently build the workflows I needed. I really hope they can work on improving the support docs, because this is the biggest thing holding them back at the moment IMHO! The platform is very affordable and so polished so I have been very happy with it. Pros \-The interface is very attractive, and the animations when you are creating a flow are really cool-Client onboarding, once I click to create my first scenario (Add a row in Google Sheets) I got a pop-up video with the instructions, they also sent the tutorial to my mail even before I ask.-Very affordable-Few apps scenarios and triggers that only found in Make Cons You really need time to understand how the system works and how to take advantage of so many settings.
