Pros: Ease of use with the ability to interface with any CMMS or EAM. Capability to release multiple RFQ¿s to vendors with no cloning or duplicating by the purchasing agent. And the best part¿ the quick identification of best cost and delivery options to help organizations save money.

Cons: Have not identified any cons after multiple uses.

Overall: During a system (CMMS/EAM) implementation purchasing/procurement deficiencies were identified. The system steps to develop Request For Quotes (RFQ) to multiple vendors was a manual process. This was too time consuming for the Purchaser and eliminated any opportunity to comparison shop routinely purchased items.

Recommendations to other buyers: Look at what your sites purchasing agents must do to get the necessary parts to your site. Is it quick, easy, and affords the opportunity for them to identify cost savings? If not your wasting money¿

Pros: Easy to use, I have used other tools in the past that were complicated and not intuitive and slow, Contraqer is a fast web based application, from requesting pricing to invoicing it does everything in between to manage our IT VAR Business. I was able to use my existing forms which I had originally designed and Dwight was able to re-create the forms in Contraqer so that when I was either quoting, cutting purchase orders or invoicing, I was able to keep my same forms that my customers were accustomed to.

Cons: Dont have any.

Overall: We evaluated different tools that would help us to manage our NASA SEWP V and contract and we found Contraqer met and exceeded our needs. We use all the modules and we could not ask for a better product that is easy to use, we use it from requesting pricing from Vendors through the Quoting process all the way through Order Management to Invoicing. The support we get is fantastic, whenever we have had any issues, I can pick up the phone and they help me immediately, you are not left on a long hold when calling in, like other manufacturers you get to a live person to help you to resolve any issues. The other part of Contraqer that I really like is that it can scale as you grow as a company and you add other contracting vehicles, you are not limited to just one contracting vehicle. Overall, it is one of the best productivity tools that I have used for our business as a Federal Government Reseller of IT Products and Services.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would definitely recommend Contraqer to anyone who needs an easy to use and intuitive tool to manage your VAR business.

Pros: It covers all aspects of a selling organization

Cons: color schema- find the white background harsh

Overall: Contraqer provides a comprehensive software solution to sales organizations that source product, issue quote requests, provide quotes as well as it coordinates all the supporting functions that are a result of selling. Every step in the selling process has been captured in the software. Greatest benefit would be realized by businesses that deploy this software first in their new business to maximize the return on investment on the tight small business budget. Contraqer can accommodate big data allowing for future growth and is a more comprehensive and budget-wise choice than other name brand software offerings.

Pros: Easy analytics when comparing multiple quotes from a variety of vendors. There are dozens of feature sets that manage the procurement cycle from start to finish.

Cons: We utilize Contraqer as an add-on to our CRM system (Salesforce). Because of this, workflows can prove difficult to manage from one system to another. Thankfully, the support staff has been working closely with me to help us realize a tighter integration with our CRM.

Overall: The company, I work for currently hold several large military IT contracts. These contracts have a great deal of complexity and requirements to manage. One of the contracts we hold is particularly difficult. It requires submissions to an online catalog of individual part numbers for ever part you intend to use on a given RFQ. As you can imagine this requires maintaining a huge database with literally 100's of 1000's of part numbers from every vendor that will be used on the contract. Not to mention trying to manage the life-cycle(s) of multiple OEM product lines in order to keep our contract catalog up to date. Contraqer has done just that in stellar fashion.

Recommendations to other buyers: The control this software gives you in managing the procurement process is unparalleled. Great features and well thought out. Two thumps up!

Overall: Overall this a great software package. It makes our job as administrators run more efficiently. The Contraqer team is an extension of our team as it relates to problem solving. When there are new contract requirements, policy or regulation they work with us to come up with a solution to meet the new challenge head on. Contraqer is innovative and always evolving to create the perfect solution for all their customers.

Comments: Contraqer ended up saving us a tremendous amount of work and money that we needed to invest for the management of our Federal related catalog based contracts. Pros: User Friendly Interface

Overall: This software enables our sales team to manage their catalog on the contract versus having a specialized IT resource engaged daily for the purpose of managing a specialized upload when a new quote/bid needs to be submitted. Contraqer listens to it's customers' needs and is continually improving the product to help us simplify our internal process. Thank you Contraqer!

Pros: Well thought out functions and features.

Cons: Configuration can get a little confusing but, with the help of their support team, becomes very logical.

Overall: We recently added Contraqer.com to our corporate CMMS as an add-on. We found this to be an excellent addition to the CMMS in regards to our needs to primarily purchase maintenance items. Contraqer has given us the ability to shop around the world for our industrial needs and allows us to compare costs to save the company money. The people at Contraqer.com have gone above and beyond to assist our organization with integrating their web-based system into our existing CMMS. Support from Contraqer has been exceptional for lack of a better term. I highly recommend this web-based procurement management software as stand-alone or as an add-on to existing CMMS software.

Recommendations to other buyers: Price of the software is based on percentage of purchases but is designed to greatly save organizations money in controlling spending. Gives buyers a very good picture of where companies can become increasingly efficient and save money.
