Almost perfect solution for the fast sharing of browser screenshots. It mostly works well. Sometimes I need to do logout/login when it jams. Wish there were more annotation tools like callouts and highlight in Snagit Editor. Also, please think about making a Windows app.

1\. Cloudapp takes all of the screencap tasks that a support agent needs to do every day, and puts these tasks in one application. (instead of using Giphy or inbuild screencapping) 2. Saves time! 3. Once a screencap is made, the pointer tools look professional and are easy to use. They make my screencaps look a lot better and more clear.

Pros

I like Cloudapp because it consolidates screenshotting, Gif creation, and video creation. I don't have to run three separate programs to get these three tasks done. It's all in one place.

Cons

I like everything about CloudApp, but I wish it had more webinar recording features, maybe a more developed video creation tool.

### "Works pretty well, some odd parts"

Pros

I use screenshots ALL the time.. I currently have a folder that is probably a few gigabytes of just screenshots from over the years. CloudApp makes it easy to scan pictures and manipulate them in ways, like adding notes and such. Also, they make it easy to record your screen and create narrated tutorial videos. A friend recommended it to me, and I've been using it since!

Cons

I forget to use it. I'm just used to taking screenshots how I used to and I always catch myself not using it when I should. Also, I purchased CloudApp through the Apple app store and it constantly asks me to upgrade when I already HAVE upgraded.. I do not know how to resolve this. Eventually it fixes itself but it takes me awhile to log in and log out for it to recognize that I in fact have paid for the app.. When doing a screen recording, I don't like how the tool bar is hidden if you try and do full screen. Small feedback for the developers.

CloudApp helps me share screen quickly. All I need to do is press the shortcut to capture. And the link to the image is ready in the clipboard.

Pros

I like how quickly you can capture your screen, annotate the image, and share the result to your colleague or friends. All that you need to do is to use the default shortcut or custumize one yourself.

Cons

I wish that CloudApp can remember the last capture area so that we can create a series of screenshots based on the changes of one specific area.

Convenience. It's nice to have if the price is right.

Pros

CloudApp is essentially a glorified screen capture/recorder combined with Dropbox. It's nice to have if you do screen captures once in a while, but it's invaluable if you're doing customer support.

Cons

There's no way to numerically set the dimension, a must when you want to capture certain area multiple times (e.g. preparing how-tos). Also, the website is a bit slow to load.

Pros

Cloudapp is one of a few tools that I use on a daily basis. I love that I can quickly upload large files and people can comment on them. I'm also excited to see the recent addition of webhooks which can be used in conjunction with Zapier. Other things I like: - Allows me to know if a file has been seen. - Capture + Do option.

Cons

Heres a few things I would love to see: - A mobile app & CTA buttons on uploaded files so you can roll your own Bonjoro style tool and greet customers with personalized videos. - Better document analytics - Better options for creating full page screenshots

Pros

Super easy to use. The toolbar thing makes it super easy to pull up. The automatically-created link makes it super easy. The annotate feature is super handy and robust enough. The video record / gif create features are super clutch, too.

Cons

One thing I wish it offered, and that I"ve never seen before, is the ability to create a screenshot of an infinite scroll. So for example, rather than just be locked into screenshotting something I can see on my static screen, I'd like the ability to tell CLoudApp a portion of my screen to record, then scroll down, and have it stitch multiple screenshots into one long image.

Pros

CloudApp has saved me hours in editing screenshots. Also, I commonly need to show my team how to do a certain task, and that´s where I use CloudApp to tape short tutorials that I can share in seconds. It has been my most used app in this pandemic.

Cons

theres is nothing that I have disliked so far

I talked with their support and they promptly replied on that and asked me to join their beta testing program so that I can always share my experience about the bugs. I believe they already have fixed bug. Who knows may be some day I will give CloudApp another shot again

Pros

This software is pretty easy to use and does the work pretty neatly. Store the screenshots in the cloud and also shared weekly analytics of those screenshots. Have annotations feature which is also pretty neat.

Cons

At the time I left using this software, they had bug in their screen recording function. From that day I am using another program instead of it.

I can share screenshots, create annotations, record my screen, share files and store them! There is no way you can't benefit from all of this, you will be amazed and your team will be even faster!

Pros

The ability to record video including my camera and screen, it's awesome! I can also create gif instead of videos, and share them with everyone.

Cons

One of the main features is to "whitelabel" your links, and that is only included in higher tiers, but even if you are using the free plan, you will have in your sleeve a great tool that will help you improve your performance.

Pros

It is easy to use, You can take screenshots, capture images and videos very simple and fun, every information you save goes directly to the app. This function is excellent since you can have access to it every time and you will find in the cloud all your information saved and complete.

Cons

The fact that it doesn't have a mobile app and also is not for all devices. Aside from that, there are no huge cons about this software.

It cannot be easier to take screenshots or videos of your screen. The latter in .mp4 or .gif

Pros

You just hit 3 keys in order to take a pic or a video from your screen or rectangle parts of it. The result is automatically stored in the cloud. In my case up to on 1 TB. You can download everything and whitelable / brand the links with a domain of your choice like : "links.my-domain.com/xyz123

Cons

The software seems to be rather new. In my beginning there where some bugs. But obviously those bugs are gone now.

Cloudapp is very easy to use and it helps in Screenshot Video and GIF creation. The output can then be shared in one click and we have the possibility to customize our links !!! With Trello integration, it is a must have for Product Managers

Cons

Lot of crashes and instability in version 4.2.3, hopefully new version 4.2.10 is out. It would be great if screeshot can detect page blocks like Clipular or the new Firefox tool.

CloudApp has allowed me to quickly share files with clients without the multiple steps is takes with other cloud storage services.

Pros

I first used CloudApp for just sharing files and it is the fastest way I've found to share a file. I like how it automatically copies the link to the clipboard so it's ready to paste and share. I've recently started using hte screen recording feature and again have found it to be the quickest way to create and share a screen recording.

Cons

It can be a little laggy while processing the screen recording for upload.

Time saving and clearer communication

Pros

CloudApp has every feature I need as a customer support professional. I can share gifs, annoted images, and screencasts quickly and easily, which saves me time typing, and reduces confusion for the customers I email. Also, their customer support team is always very speedy, helpful, and responsive. I couldn't be happier! It's so valuable. It's hard to imagine doing customer support without it.

Cons

It would occasionally be handy to have the option to save a screenshot to my desktop instead of the cloud sometimes.

We really like CloudApp. We needed a way to easily show our customers features of LeadIQ's, and CloudApp's screen shooting makes it really simple and easy. We've been able to cut down our ticket times using their gif recorder. With it you can record actions inside our app, and just send a link to the customer to show them how to do something. This speeds up the back and forth.

Pros

Very easy to use, high quality capturing, and really cool analytics on the files you upload.

Cons

Once in a great while, we'll have customers that get confused having to open a Cloudapp link. The good news is, the more they use it, the more comfortable they become with it. It's naturally like the evolution of a product.

It's great for screencaptures.

Pros

I used CloudApp years ago, and switched to another service, but I'm happy that I came back. The configuration options are good, it's cross-platform, and never has server connection problems like the last service I used.

Cons

I have contacted customer support a couple times and never heard back. I know they are actively working on the product, so there is support in that regard, but personal inquiries don't seem to get addressed.

I bought CloudApp as a LTD on AppSumo and, especially for the price, it's been well worth it. Unquestionably worth it. And their support team was very helpful when I had issues so kudos to them. Felt like they really cared about making things work.

Pros

It's fairly easy to use and has made communicating ideas with people SO much easier. With my digital marketing clients and especially with tech support teams. Instead of trying to describe everything in words, I do a quick 60 walkthrough of my issue, send them the video link in an email and get much better feedback right away. Also easy to download the videos if I want to pull them into Camtasia or something to edit. (Or put them on Youtube)

Cons

Sometimes I've had issues with my graphics card kicking in and the interruption makes my CloudApp video crash. Haven't had that for a while though.
