" January 11, 2018 5.0 Pros It's easy to use without oversimplifying a lot of features that are necessary for accurate ' effective donor management. The plugins are also a huge bonus, as well as the potential ones to come. The price is also great, compared to what we were paying previously for a service of lesser quality. Honestly - I am recommending this software to any non-profits that I know of, especially those looking to switch over to new systems (or who are getting started). Cons I think that tags are pretty much worthless and the email templates are not great. I also wish you had a better peer to peer and or crowd-raising platform. It was easy to import our donor information from Excel to Keela. I like the ability to track all of our donor contacts we make with them. Links with QuickBooks. When we called to set up a meeting, the rep had done his homework and was knowledgeable about our website and organization. Cons I haven’t found anything I dislike about Keela. Pros The CRM itself is pretty intuitive and it gives us the most "bang for our buck" when it comes to the needs of our small Non-Profit Cons Nothing yet. I am still working through some issues with adding names to contacts that were imported without names, but that may be \*my\* issue. Will know more in 2 weeks. President Philanthropy Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Organizing our donor base" May 19, 2019 5.0 We are able to communicate more frequently and with a more targeted message to members of our donor base. Pros Easy to upload our data from an Excel spreadsheet with the click of a few buttons. Keela also merged all duplicate files belonging to the same person (due to a different prefix, use of first name vs initial, etc) I was expecting it to take me hours to clean the data and it was automated beautifully. Cons It does take some time to orient oneself to the intricacies of the software. They have email templates already created for communication to our database, ways to track donations and respond accordingly, task management, and more that has easily integrated multiple features into one product, reducing our need for several different systems. Cons For us, the downside is the limit to email customization, however even in the last 5 months of use they have already made changes that have given more options for customization. Very centralized in its overview, especially relating to data and event management, which are the 2 modules currently being utilized. Cons Looks like some programming details (ie dates such as 01/10 or 10/01) still have some glitches which has been brought up with the programming team. there has been no follow up on this inquiry. The video tutorials are great, and we like that we are able to track many data points that are relevant to our organization with one piece of software. Keela also prioritizes adding new features that are repeatedly requested by its users. Cons As with any new tool, there has been a bit of a learning curve.
