Pros When it comes to document signing it's a crowded market with lots of options - where signNow stands out is on price. It does pretty much the same as the others - but for at least half the price. This was the main reason we picked it. Cons The dashboard looks dated and takes a while to get familiar with - but past that it has all the same feature as it's competitors. We enjoyed the feature as it worked, but there were many flaws with the API including expiring keys, and some connection downtime. Pros was a helpful tool for our business because it allowed for digital signatures, which helped take our business in the virtual world. Cons I least liked SignNows customer support. Whenever we had an API issue, we had to go back and forth via email with their admin team to get it resolved. I would have preferred a phone call. The customer service folks do not understand the meaning of the words "customer" and "service". Pros If you've used another eSign service, it is fairly simple to use. It is expensive though and not worth it in my opinion. Cons They are still working things out. I spent over $1000 sending a simple bulk send document which didn't work because there was an optional hyperlink (for more information) that if it was not clicked on, the document would not progress to the next signer. This was not stated in the instructions anywhere and I now have over 1000 documents that are "stuck", that I paid for, that are useless without the second signature. If you need something simple to capture signatures, this is absolutely a good option. It's something I only used occasionally, but if I needed to use it on a more regular basis, I may seek something more robust. Pros SignNow makes it incredibly easy to get a signature on a document through a mobile device. The app itself allows you to store signed documents, in addition to exporting documents to the cloud or downloading them to be used outside of the app itself. Additionally, it is easy to request signatures from others when needed. The interface is simple and easy to use. Cons Editing documents or templates on a mobile device can be tricky. When our needs increased it was no longer a good option for us due to extremely high costs. Pros It is user friendly. The interface is nice and clean and straightforward. I like that you can use signing links. Cons Cost. Super expensive for what it is. I wish their was a simplified version you can purchase. Having all my signed documents in one place has proven to be a significant benefit. It is simple to create and send documents to many recipients. It's simple to learn and doesn't take long to master. Setting signing orders is a popular option I use to incorporate document inspection into the signing process. I can tell the product is still being developed, so when I log in, I'll find that something has been changed or tweaked to improve its usefulness or usability. The app is simple to use. Pricing is reasonable, significantly lower than DocuSign and comparable alternatives. The signing experience provided by DocuSign is superior and appears more professional, but SignNow is not far behind. Cons It is not as popular as other services such as DocuSign, which makes it confusing when people receive a signing link. Furthermore, I wish it were easier to change the user who should receive when my contact is not the signatory. Clients occasionally have trouble navigating the invitation we send to fill out the form. Sometimes a client's invitation is routed to their spam account, slowing our office's ability to receive completed paperwork. Clients will occasionally use the word DocuSign and expect the email to come from that service, despite being told that it will come from SignNow. This is not a problem with a straightforward solution. Furthermore, selecting a platform that does not have the same brand recognition as others creates uncertainty and mistrust. Their plan only charged when the document was fully signed -- while that remains, they've made smart fields, etc a part of the enterprise plan which made API access worthless. It has helped us with getting documents to customers and getting them signed, which is essential for our business. Pros Fairly quick set up process. Easy to edit templates once they are set up. We have several people using one log on, which has worked well for our purposes. Cons The only negative thing that I can think of is some feedback that we have received from customers that we have sent forms to, and that is that you have to download the app in order to fill out the forms. We have found out that you don't actually have to download the app, but the link to take you to the forms without downloading the app is not in a super obvious place. They will probably say, "Oh he had a trial account." My response: If you prohibit trial users from accessing support how can they adequately \*try\* (as in "trial") your product? A "trial" means I have the opportunity to explore and experience all aspects of a online service. If I (presumably) must pay first before I can access any kind of support, why offer a trial? You have many competitors, so it's not like potential customers can't just delete their SignNow account and find a better product/service. That's what I did. Pros Nothing. I tried to use it three different times but the instructions were practically nonexistent, or if available, the company does not make it easy to learn how to use their product. I'm sure they will say, "But look, watch this video or read this KB article, etc." But if a customer has to search, not find what they need, then go to reach out to support only to find that there is no support, a post-hoc explanation does not do me (or other customers) any good. Cons Zero support. Your only option is "SignNow University" where you can search in vain for answers to your questions. No support chat. No support phone number. No support email address.
