Overview

### What problems does Plesk solve?

Plesk solves the complexity of managing multiple websites, domains, databases, email accounts, and server settings by centralizing hosting tasks in one dashboard. Plesk is fairly quick to onboard for teams with server or hosting experience, helped by an intuitive interface and training through in-person sessions, live online sessions, webinars, videos, and documentation. My overall experience with Plesk is great. I use it to manage small project websites. The integrations, such as Laravel, make it easier than ever to manage websites. Coupled with built in backup and the ability to pull websites straight from Git, makes this a dream to work with.

Pros

Plesk is a feature rich web hosting platform. I like how simple the setup is of Plesk as well as its integrated backup features.

Cons

It can be overwhelming, as there are many features to Plesk, but with a little perseverance, you can achieve what you need with it.

Reasons for choosing Plesk

Plesk was included with my VPS offering, so gave it the benefit of doubt.

Pros

Plesk is indeed a great tool. It's complete, it's secure, it has a good performance so yes, it's a great tool. I just don't give it 5 stars because I feel cPanel to be more complete.

Cons

In my opinion, cPanel is a more complete solution and simpler to use. Have been using both systems for many years now and I always feel that options in cPanel are more intuitive and require less clicks to reach where we want

Plesk has accompanied us for the past years with 100% satisfaction. We recommend wholeheartedly.

Pros

Plesk interface first of all is so easy to use. Secondly, we managed to perform multiple website migration, following server migration. Restoring our WordPress instances, with zero error is seamless with WordPress.

Cons

The updates are tiresome. It would be great if this can be automated.

Generally very pleased, tried a few similar softwares/OS's and this is the first one I have found that I think I will stick with.

Pros

Found it easy to deploy, GUI is easy to navigate with a bit of a look around and I like that you can brand it with your own logos.

Cons

Some functions like scheduling could do with more functionality and setting up monitoring was a little difficult.
