Worked in past with it also on windows and does great job both on linux and windows server. Pros It's easy to install, it even has a once command installer that does all for you, more it's easy to use even for not so technical people on server part, it does automatic updates for you, security it top notch even checking for sql injections. You can even integrate it with git and pull your website fast and easy to the server. Cons Nothing, I like all about it, it's perfect. It allows you to manage hosts on both Linux and Windows easily. It's much. better than Cpanel and other ancient looking tools Major Pro's 1. Pros Powerful web server administration that is loaded with features, in an intuitive, flexible, and easy to use package. Cons Costs of extra add-ons can be discouraging at times. Reason for choosing Plesk All other platforms feel confusing, outdated, and lacking in full visibility to see and understand what is happening on your server. The application of SSL certificates is also a lot simpler and restoring and mainitaining fiels within a website is much easier, either with the file management interface or the FTP access point. Cons The backups can take a while and the recovery process can be an issue. It is not so easy to take remote backups and space issues can cause problems if you run out before a backup can complete and you will have no notification that this has failed unless you are monitoring the site. I can monitor performance and lot of other tasks from the same place. Pros Plesk is an incredibly amazing hosting control panel and platform for the IT admins, developers, content managers and digital agencies. There are a lot of Plesk extensions available, that really extend the functionality of your platform. Cons All options of Plesk are really easy to use and understand, I never found any kind of issue during the use of this amazing control panel. For me the plesk is perfect, without any kind of cons. Having docker and node.js features really helped me in managing several different website needs in just 1 server. There is also a Wordpress Toolkit that is very helpful in managing many wordpress-based websites Cons Updating php, mysql, and some components to the custom version is rather difficult in this hosting control panel. Pros Nice and clean UI (looks better than c-Panel) It does have lots of documentation Easy to use It has all "must have" features and extensions for free (some of them do cost a bit) Cons Support is not always the most helpful/knowledgeable. Pros Plesk is more affordable than some of its competitors, and is incredibly easy to use with its great looking UI. Cons Plesk does lack some advanced features that can be found in competing products, and isn't so intuitive for the admin side of things. For basic use this is pretty good however if you want to start running a medium to large hosting company or if you have a lot of site this may start to add up Pros It does what it says and its foolproof. Pretty much anyone over the age of 13 could setup this software with a little bit of networking knowledge Cons I didnt like the fact that if you want to go above using basic functionality you would have to pay.
