It is very easy to set up these campaigns and get started. The social sharing function has improved in the last year. Reports are plentiful but exporting requires a fair amount of data manipulation. The front-end UI is clean, crisp, and no frills. I wish there were more capability to change the UI-ie , add video (without just embedding a video in the text area) and to have a full scrolling 'honor roll' of those who gave (currently just the last 5 are shown). The small processing fees can't be beat which keeps our administration budget low (which everyone loves). The customer service is quick and personal. The only negative I've found is the campaign pages are limited in their design ability, which can also be a pro for those with little experience in design and coding. I've rarely contacted their customer service which is a testament to the ease of their product, but when I have my questions have been answered swiftly. Their backend is organized well and it is easy to find the information that you need. The one downside we have found so far is the financial reporting when connecting through third party apps like Stripe to Xero is less organized but not difficult to figure out. " January 23, 2017 3.0 Right now, we are unable to accept ACH payments, which is something we'd love to have the capability to do. Also, having only an option of "on behalf of" and a comment box doesn't always meet our needs for gifts, which are often given "in memory of." We end up with many customers putting their own name in that box, so it's clearly confusing. Customer service responds promptly and helps us when they can, but if feels like we spend a lot of time and money working with other vendors to help us do things that Donately doesn't. It's very affordable (no fixed fees!), which was a big consideration in our startup phase. We also get top-notch customer service - The support staff is super responsive and always gets me the answers I need. I was excited to learn about some of the new features planned for 2017, especially the more robust campaign functionality. They've built a quality team behind this product and it shows. October 29, 2016 5.0 The dashboard and setup is very functional and intuitive. Integrations are very helpful as well. Makes managing new and reoccurring donations a snap. What I wish this platform had is better styling options as I am not very good with CSS. Sometimes it's not as mobile responsive when embedded in a pop up. As with anything more integrations would be great. Keep up the good work. Pros I like that it is stripe based. I like the campaign fundraising tools although we have not yet used it. It seems that the creators of Donately get what most nonprofits need with easy-to-create donation forms that are responsive, embed into Wordpress, and equipped with peer-to-peer campaign functionality. October 28, 2016 4.0 We were looking for an all encompassing product that both encompassed merchant processing as well as some of the other administrative sides such as tracking donations and sending out donation letters to donors. This was a fairly simple sight to integrate with our website and use on an ongoing basis. Pros Their explanations about how to embed a custom form to your Wordpress or other website are really easy to follow! I was having a problem getting the form to appear on my screen, and Andrew sent me the script corrections right away! Otherwise, it's been really easy to set up donation pages. It doesn't have all of the features of some other donation management applications, but I found that the simple tools that works really well provide a much better overall experience than a complicated suite of half-baked settings, integrations, and profiles. Donately is a clear, honest solution that anyone of any skill level can setup and begin receiving donations quickly.
