Pros: Office wise is able to save product titles and price to quickly fill out the po and send it out.
I like that it is fast and easy to use. You are even able to email right from the PO.

Cons: I don't like that there is a new area that has to be set of what folder you would like to have it in after it mailed out. That slows down the process.

Overall: Its nice to be able to reference each PO just by looking it up in the search box by the PO number

Thank you for your review Caleb! Not sure what you mean by setting folder you would like to have PO in after it is mailed out. If you are referring to approval folders (i.e. Inbox, Not-submitted, Rejected, Pending) the system should assign automatically depending on the approval status of the PO. I will follow-up with you to make sure I understand and help resolve.

Overall its fine but i dislike having to use so many different pieces of software.

Pros: Office wise is easy to use and fairly intuitive for the most part. the page is smooth and rarely gets hung up or has timeout issues.

Cons: The PO can be a little glitchy when adding multiple line items at the same time, it creates a weird overlap on the job number field.

Pros: The ease of creating purchase and sales orders. Also like tracking the sales orders/purchase orders and to get a history.

Cons: It can be slow but can't tell if its the software or our network.

I am not able to track by project. If we do samples orders for various projects I am unable to look up by a project to see what sample requests are being worked under a specific project.

We have not received any other reports of our site being slow and we closely monitor performance metrics to make sure it is working fast so there might be an issue with your computer or network. That said we are constantly trying to improve the performance of our site so I will follow-up to see what else we can do to speed things up on our end. For project tracking I recommend using "Tags" or creating a custom field on the order form and will follow-up with you to show you how this can be done.

Pros: Very easy to use and negotiate your way around the software. I also like being able to customize the dashboard.

Cons: You can not print a detailed PO from your dashboard once it is approved. You have to go to Home then Purchase Orders, search for the PO then print them. Wish there was a quicker way to do this.

Overall: I can track the expense and purchases for each location

Thank you for your feedback Susan! Once a PO is approved you should be able to click on a link in the approval notification that will take you directly to the approved PO where you can print it. From the list of POs you can also set filters to see only those purchase orders where you are the requisitioner which may make it easier to find POs. I will follow-up with you to further discuss these solutions and how we can improve.

Pros: User friendly and easy to navigate. Timely notifications when there are items to review for approval.

Cons: Searching for specific items without knowing an exact date or purchase order number is slightly cumbersome.

Pros: I like the efficiency of it in the office setting. It is nice to be able to have a place to submit everything you need and it can be sent to the person who needs to purchase the orders. I like how it sends emails notifying you when something has been sent to you or approved.

Cons: The description box does not allow enough lines to type and you cannot add the same approver more than once, which is a little inconvenient in some circumstances.

Overall: You benefit from having one central location to put in all the orders you need to purchase for the office, as well as, let administration know what id going on event wise.

In cases where the description exceeds the character limit we usually recommend attaching a file with the description to the purchase order and referencing the file in the description field of the purchase order. Pros: the ease of use and the ability to copy POs. I love that I can copy POs that I make to the same vendor and though I need to edit it, it is much easier than starting a new PO.

Cons: that if I am in my inbox, I have to go to 2 screens in order to access POs, I wish I was able to access POs on the sidebar, but I can only get to other boxes in my inbox (submitted, rejected, pending, etc)

Overall: it's an easy way to keep track of POs and I can go back and research or find POs and re-print or mark as received.

Pros: Free and easy to use. No annoying advertising. Works on all web browsers. Service has been reliable - never tried to use it and couldn't.

Cons: Some things could be even easier if the interface were redesigned. Haven't used it a lot - I can get our POs out which is all I need to do with it.

Overall: Lets me generate POs for vendors that require them.

Pros: Having the order history saved and being able to call up previous items. Also, having the ability to look at old purchase orders and see what has been fulfilled

Cons: It's difficult to correct a mistake on an item once it's entered. Also having to approve an order that you personally ordered seems redundant.

The system should allow you to correct any mistakes on an item within the PO while you are creating it or by editing the item record and there are a few different ways you can make it so that you don't have to approve your own orders. Pros: It was easy to use and easy to implement. It does all we need it to do. We are very happy with this solution for the price. We did not need a real robust solution. Just something to track and communicate the company purchases. I only needed to call support once and I cannot really remember but I think it was a good experience.

Overall: It makes it very easy to track our purchases and approval process.

Pros: The software is very user-friendly. Easy keyword searches on past purchase orders. You can copy previous purchase orders and resubmit with minor changes, so it makes PO entry quick. You can give everyone in a department access to see past PO's of other

Cons: We have had trouble with the approval process. You can select multiple approvers in the PO, but rather than going to the next approver, our POs will go back to the original person submitting the PO each time an approver approves.

Pros: Nice layout. Dashboard is handy. Ability to send emails right from the PO generation screen is helpful.

Cons: The search doesn't populate results for me. The ability to store costs for repeat purchases would be cool.

Pros: The fact that it is very user friendly and supports what we need to capture purchasing and approvals for those purchases. Having the ability to download actual copies of the invoice is a plus, because it allows the approver to make a conscious decision in making an approval.

Overall: An excellent purchasing approval method. The software creates a great way to monitor purchasing.

Pros: The point and click aspect of it along with the customizable features for our different plants. we have been able to use this over three plants with being able to customize for each.

Cons: cant run old web browsers with . Had some problem with working with older web browsers that some employees had .

Overall: We took a manual PO system that was having to hand signed and went with this and now its all electronic. Took from a 3 day time frame down to less than a couple of hours.

Pros: The email notifications are nice because it is an easy for me to know when an approval is needed from me.

Cons: I would like for the PO's to show the current spend on a project along with the current budget for a project so that I can make sure we are spending within our project budgets.

For budget management we recommend using "Groups" for tracking spending on projects which will allow you to run budget to actual reports for the project and set over budget alerts that warn you if you are going over budget. Pros: Simple interface and keeps track of everything. The line item memos are great for justifying purchases. New Items can be created on the fly.

Cons: A large amount of our ordering is random one off items from places like amazon or eBay, I would like better support for these types of purchases. It would be great if we could put in tracking numbers to know when orders will come in.

Pros: Readily searchable, multi-user platform that serves our small 27 person well. We track all our requisitions and purchases for raw materials, detail parts and lab-ware that are procured daily from over 30 suppliers around the globe.

Pros: abilty to sort the POS. The ability to filter. The ability to attach files to PO, add comments to it

Cons: Have to use the Admin to manually add the Project ID to align the PO to that project in order to select it from drop down list.

Overall: the ability to filter out my PO's to report on end of year expenses.

Pros: Easy to learn and use, the features we need are built-in and we didn't have to do a lot of customization!

Cons: We still need to learn how to integrate the software with some of our accounting systems - we feel that training would help. Hopefully, we are able to find some help with this. I'm not sure we have been able to reach a live human yet - but maybe we need to try a littler harder.

Overall: Officewise has helped us take control of our spending which has helped increase profit within the first few months!

Pros: the filter and sort fields make it easy to find any Purchase Order quickly. The ability to email a PO straight to the vendor cuts down on repetitive actions!

Cons: When I close a PO I would like the screen to refresh to the main PO list instead of having to close out of the closed PO screen.

Overall: we didn't have a customizable PO system before officewise

Thank you for your feedback. To end up on the main PO list page after closing a purchase order we recommend closing the purchase order from the list page which you can do by checking the box next to the purchase order, then click on the More button at the top of the list, then click on Close option. This feature also allows you to close multiple purchase orders at a time. Hope this helps.

Pros: The ability to create professional Purchase Orders is invaluable. Also, the benefit of creating products which can be applied in future PO's.

Pros: Ease of use. Keeps good history. I love the ability to send by email and get ccd on my invoice that was email.

Cons: I think you should offer at a lower price. I only do 2 or 3 invoices a month. How about charging by each invoice?

Pros: It has been a great too for tracking the cost of products and services purchased for projects. I have utilized it extensively for some time now and am happy with it's performance as an end user.

Cons: The search function in the items module could be a little better defined and allow for searching for a portion of a name or part number.

Pros: This software took our company from a convoluted excel based system to an organized and easy to use software platform that we love.

Cons: This software lacks a few features that would be helpful but overall not critical. Being able to track lead times, order numbers, and being able to pull that list by project would be very helpful. The software would also benefit from being able to communicate with other software systems, like quickbooks.

Overall: Organized our procurement process in a beneficial and productive way.

Pros: The software is easy to use, understand and to show others how to use.

The ability to email POs with terms attached makes ordering very simple.

Cons: Some of the reporting is limited. It would be nice to generate a report that provides invoices by sales rep. Also, a report showing remaining open balance on a sales order.

Some of the parameters in setting users up is limiting. I have a need for letting people view all sales orders but not be able to change them.

Pros: The software provides inventory control, sales, and purchasing tools all in one easy to use application that is not overly priced.

Cons: The inability to modify inventory type (inventory vs non-inventory) after creation. It would be a major improvement to allow you to change the type instead of having to create a new item.

Thank you for your feedback Lisa. I understand your point about allowing users to modify type so that you don't have to create a new item if you want to change. The tricky part is what to do with past transactions since they would have been handled in the system based on type when they were recorded. We think it is important to be consistent with how different types of transactions are handled in the system but also feel it is important to maintain the integrity of historical data. That said we are always open to new ideas on how we can improve the system and I will follow-up with you directly to further discuss.

Cons: The only con we had using the software was the limited availability for the free user. We ended up using a different software that was free with full function.

Cons: Sometimes when I do a Search for a past vendor, no information comes up, but I know that I have completed a PO for the specific vendor.

If you enter the name of the vendor in the search box and click button to search then any purchase order for that vendor should appear in search results so not sure why you are not seeing. Alternatively you can use filters to see purchase orders for a particular vendor and further filter on other criteria. Pros: I like that it saves prior purchases and details. It is also easy to see where your order is being held up and notifies you when it has been sent all the way through.

Cons: I least like that if you make a simple change to an old order you have to make a whole new product.

To reduce the risk of duplication the system does prevent users from creating new items that have the same Item ID as an existing item but we understand sometimes that is not enough to prevent duplication. To further reduce risk and maintain consistency in part name/number we recommend limiting which users can add new parts through roles so that only certain authorized users can add new items. Pros: It allowed us to keep vendors saved for future use. We were able to reference different orders to the PO numbers. It allowed us to continue to reference old PO's to see what transaction happened that had taken place before our hire.

Cons: The search engine was very specific. If we were looking for drawstring bags and it was entered in as draw string bags the search field wouldn't find it. I wish that a bit more information about the order would appear in the list screen. We would place multiple orders in a day from the same vendor. If we were searching for a particular item but the search feature didn't pull it up we would have to search through the many PO's from that particular vendor click in and closing out each one until we find the right one. Where if there was a column that showed the notes or possibly 1 line item in the PO that would help find things quicker.

Overall: organization and communication was key when communicating with my co-workers on multiple projects. This helped us keep all of our orders in one location so that if one of us was not present that the others would know what had been ordered.

Cons: having to hit submit after hitting save after filling out a new PO. I wish it would have a pop up after hitting save, that would ask if you wanted to submit.

Pros: It's easy and able to be personalized to accommodate the needs of my company. I was very happy that when I did need to reach out to explore more options--Ryan was readily available. He scheduled a time to help me out and took the time to thoroughly explain the options I had.

Cons: I don't have anything that I don't like--but that is because I only create sales orders. If I were to be on the accounting side, I might find some things that I would like changed.

Pros: We are a small office site on the other side of the Country of Armenia corporate location. Having office wise makes submitting peels and receiving on them to our finance office like they're sitting in the next office down.

Cons: Wish there was a way to remind me to revive my po's through email or remind me when I log in. If there is it is not very easy to see.

Pros: The simplicity and pleasant GUI make doing my job easy. I can find my assigned Purchase Orders in seconds, open them, and make any adjustments I need to.

Cons: Haven't really found anything I dislike about it...If I had to say something perhaps the "more" button on the dashboard could have some of those items as separate buttons, or it could be customizable because I have to print PDFs a lot.

Pros: The ease in the use of the software. Several fields can be populated by typing the first letters of a vendor's name. The item numbers also can be populated with the first few letters on the company's item numbers.

Cons: There was an update to the software a few months ago. There was no training on the changes to the software. It was difficult to determine where items needed to go. It took sometime to figure this out.

Pros: The software allows a paperless and more efficient process in ordering items. The approval hierarchy is great.

Cons: Some changes to the website adds some difficulty in maneuvering through to find other pages. Example, I had to edit the authorization of a new hire and it took me a while to find where that section was moved to.

Overall: We now have a paperless process in executing POs. The process is now more efficient, we maintain a history on our purchases and the time saved is better served on other projects.

As for making edits to approved purchase orders the system requires that you resubmit for approval so that approvers are able to approve the changes. To avoid having to resubmit purchase orders for approvals I recommend using Bills to record any changes and will followup with you to show how this can be done. Regarding the ability to delete purchase orders there are pros and cons to this and for now we feel that it is better to allow users to void purchase orders rather than delete them but we are open to reconsider. I will followup with you to further discuss.

Thank you for your review. As a point of clarification you can use alpha or numeric characters for the Item ID. To avoid adding item numbers each time you create a purchase order I recommend creating a generic item record that you can always use. For example, you could create a generic item record with Item ID "Consulting services" and map it to your consulting services expense account. That way you could always select the "Consulting Services" item anytime you want to add it to a purchase order rather than creating a new item each time. I will follow-up with you directly to make sure this resolves the issue.

Overall: I have not used customer support nor do I pay for the service - another person in our company does that portion and can comment further. I enjoy using the service. I have run into trouble when needing to edit an item that has been received already or incorrectly - to where I was left with negative items as a balance. I'm not sure of a quick fix on this but perhaps providing summary data of what was received prior to pursuing the 'receive' function would be helpful.

Pros: The simple design and ability to use a variety of categories to search through data.

Cons: I preferred the lighter color scheme Officewise had before the most recent design update. I also need to be able to type in a partial purchase order number in the search section and have any purchase order with that info pull up in my search.

Overall: Officewise offers more functionality than I expected considering it's such an affordable price. The interface is simple and very user-intuitive. My entire office is able to input data and keep things organized and up to date. We use the purchase order feature the most. The product is consistent, so I have never had any error messages or glitches like I do so often with another, more expensive software we use in-house. My favorite thing about Officewise is the ability to cross categorize my searches. The only thing I'd like to see in the future, is being able to pull up data that has any part of what I enter in the search bar, rather than having to have exact searches. Thanks for offering such a great product!

Comments: Two issues I have with Officewise. I have to modify scans to upload them. From color to grey scale. I feel the system should be accepting of both. I wish the system would allow modifications to an invoice, should we notice and error. In stead of having to wait for a month plus for a company to reject it.

Pros: Ease of use. I have no secretarial, business, or accounting background and I was able to figure out how to use this program.

Cons: Not mobile friendly. At least with my phone. May be on my end and not program's.

Overall: Overall my experience with Officewise has been good. If I can figure out how to use something, anyone can. The only difficulty I've had is when I access my account via my "smartphone".

Comments: The product changed without notice but the HELP sections were good. Our business is small and run by people who know nothing about running a business--my partner who never graduated high school and me and we were clueless about invoices and such but Officewise was a great help. I would recommend it to both novices and professionals.

Overall: There were things tat I did not understand after purchasing, contacted customer service, they found my problem, it was on my end, but they took the time to walk me through it, and fixed my issue. Can't beat their customer/ tech service, great people to work with.

Pros: Many options to choose from. Able to download a PDF of the invoice or send an email directly. Client information is saved and easily accessible.

Cons: Does not have an option to apply a discount

Overall: It was awesome that I was able to easily create invoices and quotes online for my business. Easy to use and great communication from the representative. Thanks!

Cons: Can't revision quotes without losing old quote. Wish I could put costs in quote for my own tracking.

Overall: Love the software. Version 2.0 is awesome. Just wish it have the ability to do quote versions & track cost inside of a quote without having to create an inventory item.

Comments: We were looking for something to manage departmental PO approvals for IT and were in the process of adapting some sharepoint lists to keep things organized. Pros: ease of use, the ability to edit, keeps track of all history

Cons: the mobile website version is not easy to use, the screens are hard to view and the lettering and typing of new work are difficult to see and use.

Overall: What a great website. It makes business easy and painfully easy to keep track of . Thank you. Enjoy the ability to send quotes and invoices through email and then being told when the email is opened and viewed.

Recommendations to other buyers: just address the above, I sometimes have to send something on the run and all I have is my phone

Pros: Similar to quickbooks, so if you use quickbooks you can automatically use this easily.

Overall: We Love Love Love OfficeWise. We mostly use it to keep track of orders. As a busy Design Firm we need all the help we can get keeping track of furniture orders, cabinets, tile and everything we order for a project. The report system allows us to to do a print out and mark it with expected ship dates and helps us to track what is on order for several projects at once.

Cons: I can't afford to upgrade to your higher programs yet. I really have no dislikes.

Overall: Keeping organized is a valuable asset for m business. I do Arts & Crafts at many nursing homes through the area. Part of my business is to keep track of who owes me to ensure that I can keep a running flow of my supplies. Using your invoice with my limited assets allows me to keep track of my correspondences and classes. With the app loaded on my phone lets me check an invoice in a split second as needed. I have never experienced any site problems what so ever. All I can say is THANK YOU for your wonderful service, and I will recommend you to all of my clients/friends/family with businesses.

Overall: One of the best things I have ever done concerning purchasing, etc. The fact that I can access it anywhere on-line makes it an incredible product, especially when a small business manager has to multi-task and take care of equipment ordering needs on the spot. My IPhone has grown very accustom to making transactions on the fly!! Response to questions from customer support has been very personable and quick!!

The Free Plan is designed for businesses that create a few purchase orders per month and you are right does not include the search feature. The Standard and Professional plans are designed for businesses that create more than a few purchase orders per month and both include the search feature. Overall: This is the first PO software that I have used and it makes the job a lot easier than dealing with paper. The software was very easy to setup from the beginning and the approval limits for each user is very easy to setup. This software has saved a lot of time not chasing people down for signatures.
