I was using Xero and QuickBooks but our small business doesnt need half of what they offer so was paying big dollars for little use. Reckon is PERFECT for my small business Cons I have only been using Reckon One for a couple of months, but at this stage there is nothing i dislike. The migration went reasonably well with one issue being resolved quickly. The learning curve was made easier with the tutorial videos. Overall Reckon One has made it quicker and easier to manage the day to day bookkeeping and accounting. The invoicing app is handy too. Pros Features and pricing when compared to other accounting packages. The included features cover everything business needs without the 'extras features' (and extra cost) we had with the old package. Cons User interface is a little different to our previous system - tutorials are worth the effort and are well done - most questions are answered. There are quirks but balancing cost and usability this came out the best fit for our needs. Pros Its very easy to setup and use. While there is a learning curve associated it is not steep and one can navigate through quite easily. Very good value for money for small businesses. Very simple setup so many feratures were simply not needed. Also needed to be Mac compatible. The pricing model offered matched my business requirements and there is an increasing range of applications available. Pros For my business model (many employees with low payments), no other price model option seemed to compare. Cons It has been tricky to find someone to resolve issues at times. At other times though the responses have been quite timely.
