Pros

Great Pricing model for non profits, really easy to get set up. I appreciate all the different devices that are supported by their app.

Cons

While it is certainly frustrating you can't upload a powerpoint presentation, you can upload a .jpg of each slide as a bit of a workaround.

Exceptional. It filled the need I had to add dynamic content to our front lobby monitor with very minimal involvement on my end. I love pulling weather information and social media content in real time without having to lift a finger.

Pros

It is easy to use and very affordable for us.

Cons

The thing I like least about Play Digital Signage is that it wasn't available sooner!

new to it, but using it as of now, though it is a new service, and so we don't have a lot to say about a brand-new service.

Pros

the control I have in use. software is new to us and we are just onboarding it as of now but it seems great.

Cons

none so far. Seems pretty easy to use so far. I'll update in the future if I find a downside. but as of now... none

Good system, easy to upload own designed content although design within Play seems complicated at this stage.

Pros

Simple software and easy to use and integrates well with Amazon TV Fire Stick. Pricing seems ok so far.

Cons

The design software is tricky to use so most of the time we upload our own MP4 from Canva although to be fair we haven’t tried that much.

Used in a multi-screen environment, for lobby info/graphics. Easy to assign specific playlists to specific screens.

Pros

Flexibility, ease of use. It's pretty intuitive and has a lot of features built in. Used it weekly for a few years, and had no issues.

Cons

Sometimes, the menu options are slightly clunky. Not a big issue though, as it just takes a little patience to find things sometimes.

easy tu use once installed, at the beginning it was complicated downloading the tv app, had to do it twice.

Pros

Easiest way to manage my device long distance!!! Changes appeared immediately, no need to reset or do anything extra.

Cons

activation took some time, at the beginning it was complicated downloading the tv app, had to do it twice. Then it worked perfectly.

Easy to learn and deploy from the get go. Easy to use with a short learning curve. Reached out for tech support a couple times and had really fast responses.

Pros

Ease of access and apps available in multiple operating systems. I can run screens on a computer, via an Amazon Fire Stick, Google Chromecast and AppleTV.

Cons

Not being able to edit a playlist on my mobile device, yet. And that my "dumbest" device, a Chromecast, can't handle many of the "extras" (video, transitions, etc.) since it has a simple processor

### "Amazing for church digital signage!!!"

About 4 years ago I did a Google search for digital signage for our church, at that time there wasn't the amount of digital signage companies that there is now, but Play Signage caught my eye. We are a small church and our finances were a little tight so the free version caught was right up our alley! It was a perfect fit immediately! The interface was so friendly to use i was able to teach others how to use it with a snap! The App on the Firestick was easy to download and displayed all of our upcoming church activities. We used our own art programs to produce the pics and uploaded them to Play. Creating the playlist was was a breeze as well with there easy to upload feature! the slides we used for our church slide show in the sanctuary easily fit the format to Play's format. We were ecstatic when we found out that we could also upload short video clips, they make the entire presentation come alive! I looked at other digital signage presentation programs, but when it comes to the "Bang for the Buck", nothing compares!!!

Pros

The clean easy to use interface was a snap! Being able to upload short video clips brought our presentation ALIVE!

Cons

It would be nice if I could incorporate our Canva account directly to the "Library Uploads Area" so I could grab our artwork directly from Canva.

Pros

We used Play Digital Signage to set up an info screen in our showroom, and it worked perfectly. The software was incredibly easy to set up and get started with, and we had our screen running in no time. Highly recommended!

Cons

Honestly, we have not found any real downsides yet – the setup, usability, and performance have all worked flawlessly for us.

Pros

I got it working very fast, simple things are kept simple. Updates of content happen really fast on players, very good when trying things.

Cons

Dividing into zones for example RSS is a bit different than I am used to but probably I have yet to learn better.

Pros

klar strukturierter Aufbau der Software und weit verbreiteter PlaySignage Player, z.B. bei Google TV auf Sony Fernseher.

Cons

alles in allem finde ich bis jetzt keine negativen Aspekte in dieser Cloud-Lösung. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lösungen ist PlaySignage mein Favorit.

Overall it is very user friendly and easy to navigate once you have a basic understanding. I don't have a lot of "technology" experience but did not find it too overwhelming. Having this software allows us to showcase our schedule and other elements remotely, eliminating the need of having to manually write on a dry erase board.

Pros

The website and program are very user friendly. I loved the videos that are included to help navigate setting up the software.

Cons

I wish there was a way to be able to make updates to the playlist from a mobile device. I have to make sure I am at my desktop every time I need to make an edit.

Overall very easy to use and self-explanatory platform. Would definitely prefer to use this over other plug-ins that are available.

Pros

Ease of use and overall platform! We love it! Makes uploading and changing content out very easy! Liked the ability to schedule content.

Cons

The fact that some images and content is pixelated. Not sure if this is a content issue, or a platform issue.

Pros

The UI is very easy to use and intuitive. Simple to understand and I like the live screenshot setting.

Cons

The free version does not have as many features as I would like. The one thing that staff found confusing was how to get a video to loop.

Love it! 100% would recommend. It's not the bait and switch stuff where if you need one free screen you also have to buy a bunch of stuff or get a subscription you don't want.

Pros

It is easy to set up. VERY versatile and reliable. I use it in my chiropractic clinic lobby, and people love being able to see the weather, time, our complimentary wifi information, and I can stream episodes of my podcast. Perfect. Up and running in 20 minutes.

Cons

There were some issues with forcing the YouTube app to work at high quality, but there are simple workarounds.
