They offer a wide range of compatibility, including RaspberryPi, making it very economical. Cons Not as many fonts as I would like, but I can create elsewhere and import graphics as images. September 15, 2025 5.0 Afier scouriing the web for answers on how to play USB content on my new Samsung signage display, I stumbled upon Play Digital Signage. It seemed to tick all the boxes I needed and I would look to use it again on future signage projects as it negates the need for a dedicated signage player for the screen. Pros I was impressed with the ease of setting up slideshows an scheduling them. The free single screen suits our bowling club well. I have so far found no issues with the software. Publishing to the screen is fast. The tutorial at the start was very helpful. Cons Probably that it took a bit to find it... Also, the pricing options are not clear on the signup pages. It very user friendly, and easy to set up. Will definitely recommend to friends and colleagues. The display also looks really good at our lobby entrance. Cons Nothing yet, so far so good. We haven't really used it to its full potential as the venue is not open yet. But after speaking to our AV team who set it up, they don't foresee any issues, and they found it easy to manage. I am pleased that I can quickly and easily switch from one playlist to another without disrupting the physical setup. Pros Easy way to manage content and switch quickly from one playlist to another in between press conferences without disturbing the physical setup.
