On samsung digital signage screens. Pros Easy to set up - includes all the best functionnalities for dynamic screens. Reliable so far with a month of use. Cons I noticed a bit a video compression when uploading high bitrates. It may be possible to override though. Only noticeable when close to the screen. For one-off signs managed outside of our main (locally hosted) signage system, this is an easy solution. Pros Ease of use. Requires little to no training. Very easy to submit remotely managed content. Generally just works. Cons It is a little limited in what I can submit easily. Pros Easy scaling for us. Only pay for what you need. Running a non-profit event, this is critical as we only need the system once a year, but when we do it's dozens of screens to setup and manage. Clear pricing and the editor is easy to use. You don't have to be a programmer or seasoned graphic designer to start narrowcasting using Play Digital Signage. Pros Play Digital has no-nonsense embedded into it's DNA: clear website, transparant pricing and the tool is as plug-and-play as it gets. Building digital signage designs couldn't be easier, and the integrations like Vimeo are a nice touch, allowing us to manage certain content in one place, instead of having to upload these to multiple platforms every time. Cons None so far. We've set up a playlist and will be launching Play Digital in production next week. From the look so fit this section will remain empty. I had a screen registered and content laid out and playing within 2 hours. Pros The ease to register a screen and to create a playlist made the initial setup simple. The fact it works on multiple platforms also opens up the option to repurpose devices. My favorite is the offline signage feature.
