### "A wonderful low-budget option with cheap startup costs!"

Our company is now able to provide important updates (departments working this weekend, upcoming events, important announcements, etc.) at the snap of a finger to all of our employees. We have over 4 screens and will continue to add more in the future. Managers and HR can update the screens with their own account from their own computers and our employees LOVE the modern entertainment and announcements we have on our screens. It really was a game changer for our company. The VP said these screens make us look like a fortune 500 company, which is so true!

Pros

The fact that this can be ran off of a fire stick is a game changer. You don't have to purchase a big, expensive computer and mount it behind a TV. Instead, you purchase a $30 Fire Stick, plug it in and open the app. That's it. I also LOVE how you can manage all of the content from any computer and update the screens automatically. The built in editor is pretty nice too with a lot of interesting plugins and features. Support with this company is incredible. I reported a background music bug and within a month it was fixed and I was emailed an update from the tech team.

Cons

I wish you could edit playlists on mobile devices or tablets. It would be nice to have better templates to start with. I had to create all of our screens from scratch. The learning curve was very small though.

Cons

For how inexpensive it is, it's a GREAT product. We looked into Yodeck and ScreenCloud, and we might've gone with them, but we wanted fast and simple and inexpensive deployment. If that's your needs, you can't go wrong with a simple Fire Stick and . My boss was very impressed, too!

Pros

It's so simple to get it set up. I had beautiful digital signage going in about thirty minutes -- and that included the setup of the Amazon Fire Stick, too! I appreciate that it's simple to use but has more bells and whistles still to explore and utilize. I love the ability to schedule a slide for certain time frames. Love that you can do video or images. I believe there's even the ability to add widgets!

Cons

There's a little oddity when slides transition -- particularly with video slides. But cutting down the display time by half a second takes care of that. It also wasn't totally clear to me how to get the content from my computer to the TV the first time (with asset uploads, playlist creation, deployment, etc.). But once I understood it, it was a piece of cake.

Inexpensiveness, ease of deployment, and because you can't test out Yodeck without committing yourself to purchasing their equipment (no returns). Fire Stick and Play made it inexpensive to test and we could always return the Fire Sticks if it didn't work well.

Pros

I like that this service has been easy to use from the first time I tried it. The number of apps available for various OS/platforms was a plus as we could bring our existing equipment over rather than having to purchase everything new. The desktop application makes management simple.

Cons

Devices can get disconnected from the signage system, usually after some time offline, and need to readded to play content. This does not happen often.

Overall we like the product and will continue to use it. We will continue to trouble shoot the issues that we have been having with getting the screen to sync with the TV that we display the graphics on.

Pros

I most like the fact that I can update the screens from anywhere and choose a variety of different designs, fonts, and sizes to show what needs to be shown.

Cons

The thing that we like least about the software is that it can take a while to update from our laptops to the screen that we have the Signage displayed on. Sometimes it fails to update altogether.

Working remotely as a Marketing Director this has solved many of our in-office marketing issues. All of our screens are synced, easy to update, and it is so easy to update specials and flash sales.

Pros

I like that I can update the signs any time of the day. I work remotely and I appreciate that with this software I don't have to coordinate with a team member over the phone to make sure the software is working, or walking them through how to update it. The tech support is by far the best I've ever had. The team responds within minutes with very detailed answers to any of my questions. I even had a representative go above and beyond by researching our TV and the player we wanted to use to see if it would be compatible.

Cons

It's a bit of a pain to have to buy a player for every single screen we want to use (not all of our screen are smart TV's). However, I understand why it is that way and couldn't think of a better way to do it.

The experience is excellent. I first tried the free chrome sign builder tool but it is impossible to get professional results and the reliability that offers you. You do not depend on having your own server to host the content, the programming update is immediate and you can also pay for use.

Pros

What I like the most is the ease and speed with which you have your content on the screen. The editor is a great help to create new content if you do not have previous knowledge.

Cons

At the moment I do not miss any specific functionality. Would change the way the content planning calendar is displayed. Changing the rows by columns as it is now.

It was very easy to finally have a tool that shows the content the way I wanted it. The content is displayed with the maximum ease of use and after I deployed it myself, it was really easy to transfer knowledge to the ultimate owner of the system, who is self supporting and never needs any assistance or help.

Pros

What I like most is the simplicity, the ease of use and the fact that it never let us down. We haven't had a single downtime second in the 2 years that we have used the product. We have deployed Play on an Amazon Fire stick and 2 displays show content the way we want it without a single interruption.

Cons

I could see a nicer integration with some images banks, external sites, or some other tools, but all of these are less relevant to the real usage we have.

Reason for choosing Play Digital Signage

The fact that it is easy to use, doesn't bulk with functionality that you don't use and immediately deploys. Also, we noted after a few weeks, that it was always up. We have not had downtime, so we never considered an alternative.

We have tried multiple sign programs to operate our digital sign in the front of our store and this one by far is the easiest to use and looks fantastic. One of the biggest pros for us is that it allows for both vertical and horizontal use. We absolutely love it.

Pros

The ease of set up and use for daily ads and promotions as well as the ability to set weekly schedules to best fit or needs makes this program one of the best we have found. It also allows for both horizontal and vertical displays to fit our specific needs.

Cons

It is a few dollars more expensive than other programs but it compensates for it in the fact that it is so easy to use and works well for both small and large businesses.

We use Play Signage player for over 3 years. We like the set of functions offered always with a beautiful UX. For us flexibility is the real value of this software. Fire stick TV, Android, iOS, raspberry, linux etc - you can install everywhere and deploy a signage network in a bunch of minutes!

We needed the ability to have multiple sites where we could create different groups for management of screens. We also needed the ability for video walls in various formats. Playsignage was great to work with us and help us work through issues along the way.

Pros

Playsignage is a great product from the ground up. It can be installed on many hardware configurations. The software is versatile and users pick up the management quickly. Pricing is very competitive and support has always been responsive.

Cons

There is not anything that stands out as something we do not like.

I am very happy with this product. The creator and I worked together for the implementation, and it is great I can still reach out to him if I have questions. Although has a great team to work with. I like the one-on-one aspect.

Pros

We got in at the beginning of this companies expansion. We have been able to grow with Play Digital and expand our reach with the system.

Cons

I would like to see an app for smart phones for controlling . You can manage from a web interface, but it is a little cumbersome on a smart phne.

This allows me to manage our sign, plan to expand to multiple signs, without worrying about a significant amount of time sink into development, implementation, and monitoring. As someone who operates as a one-person marketing department, this was critical.

Cons

Nothing to dislike. It's easy, intuitive, accessible, has great functionality for both beginners and advanced users - and offers excellent flexibility for content.

Our experience with has been very smooth and simple thus far. Highly recommend!

Pros

Play is user-friendly, easy to learn, and looks professional in our lobbies and in our ATM lines. We are very pleased with this choice of product of digital signage. We highly recommend it! I love that we can manage any of our screens in multiple locations directly from the Play website.

Cons

We typically do not create in Play. We create images, graphics in Canva and simply upload as 1 image for each frame in play. This is still a very simple process.

Game changing! is a new and important part of our internal and external communication strategy.

Pros

This software as a service was simple to configure and is highly scalable. We started with a pilot project on two screens using the free trial mode and are now expanding the use of the system to each of our 16 offices. Also, the quality of the "help" documentation is exceptional!

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about the software. We tested multiple other digital signage platforms and found that met our requirements at a competitive price.

Reason for choosing Play Digital Signage

The software was more stable, easier to use, better documented, and feature-rich.

Pros

The cloud based interface is so easy to use, and this was why I originally choose this platform as I wanted non technical staff to updated and publish content.

Cons

The only part of the system I would like to see improvements is on the scheduling side of the platform its not as intuitive as other platforms I have previously used. I would also like to see real-time data of what is being displayed on all the screens at any one time.

So far it's really been great. I was able too get support alost immediately, and I am impressed with tht eease of use and functionality PDS brings to digital signage..

Pros

I like that it was easy to set up and can quickly update menus remotely.

Cons

I only wish it was free :) When I purchased screens for our lobby, I thought I would just have to plug in a thumb drive and use the media player. That would have been fine. Because of Amazon crippling the device, an app such as was the only option. I'm very happy with PDS, but it's costing more than I had anticipated

I love how easy it is to use. It lets you know when it's not working which is rare. I love how you can control many screens from on place.

Cons

The only downside is it is not easy to get a hold of someone in customer service. No one to call and had to wait a while to chat online.

This program is easy to understand and works as it should.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about it is, that if you want the text to be a different size than another word in the text box, you can't. You must create a new text box.

It took me (systems admin) exactly 45 minutes to get the first playlist up and running in a test environment they offer.We were looking for an affordable and easy to use information display solution. Most others are a complete solution which includes the display, the software and the maintenance contract. This software only needs a client which is available on many platforms like Google tv, android, windows, mac etc. The management is cloud based, so anyone can maintain the slides from anywhere, accounts can be secured by a 2FA solution.

Pros

This software is very easy to deploy, the price is right, the help pages very usefull

Cons

The asset part could be more intuitive. While the upload is very easy, the navigation is somewhat less intuitive
