This software has been great for us! Originally we would upload a video loop to usb drives and then play those on tv's. It was annoying because the tv's are mounted high from the ground. The cloud based platform of PlaySignage has been great!

Pros

I liked the simplicity of this software and it being cloud based with remote control.

Cons

I honestly have no complaints as of now.

I wish video worked better - we have a lot of video elements that have problems when using this software, but photos seem to work fine

We use Play Digital Signage to publish ads to our charging station screens. Play Digital Signage has made this process easy for us and we only need to focus on Business Development. The app is easy to install and their support is professional.

Pros

The playlist and screen management features from Play Signage helped us manage our screens a lot! The UI is very easy for both our team and our customers to customize contents. Besides, Play Signage makes it easy to share a playlist to our customers with proper permission control implemented. Overall, It is easy to fit Play Signage into our business model.

Cons

It would be nicer if a disconnection report can be requested from dashboard.

It was pleasant experience, even though there were things I'd want to see.

Pros

The ease of setting up the first screen and how the editor was easy to use.

Cons

Limited amount of apps available. Needs to have the CAP Alert system integrated too

I completely solved the management of the screens in my highschool.

Pros

Easy management and edition. Online storage of contents, including conversion of PDFs and presentations. Useful friendly plugins.

Cons

Really I don't know what to say. I only had a problem with one screen that didn't update contents but I reinstalled it and the problem was solved (I guess there was a wifi connection issue, nothing to do with the software).

I use to use PDS for another business and since no longer working for that business I have spoken to my new employer about using play digital signage for her business and she agreed. When using this at my former place of employment I never had any issues with the program. Set up was super easy and the functionality of the program was even easier! The customer service is top notch and easy to communicate with folks via their chat feature. Thank you Play Digital Signage for making things easier.

Play is simple to use and produces a highly polished final product, the support is amazing I just wish more companies took notice how they support their product. very quick to setup and you can use a multitude of delivery methods to keep initial outlay low, it represents great value.

We searched for a long time to find an easy solution to be able to display notices and announcements of upcoming weekly events as well as a monthly calendar of events by room in the church. We are a small congregation with a very small budget. and being able to have a fully functional software with no annual fee is the best for us. Having access to a support chat that will answer simple questions is over the moon awesome.

Pros

The best part is there is not a hundred different settings you HAVE to set up every time you want to change a display. there is a lot of control but you can just leave it at the defaults and it will give a satisfactory display. the learning curve is not very steep, if you can build a power point show you can easily use Play digital

Cons

The only con I have run into is that when setting up a schedule and you if you want to say put up the same 5 min playlist every hour there is no button for that. you need to just make a new schedule each time.

Pros

After trying various other digital signage software trials, and seeing how complicated they were to learn and deploy, the Play product was a total breath of fresh air !! I almost dismissed it in the beginning because it looked TOO simple. But the advanced features ARE there, and they work. In my case I needed to create a playlist of various WebCam web page links. The WebCam pages are very erratic in their design approaches, but I was able to get them sorted out, PLUS YouTube and Facebook integration - AMAZING.

Cons

Currently my main frustration is that the scripting feature is not available on FireTV or Chromecast, but I do understand its not the fault of the developer, more one of the Andriod application. So far it has not been a real issue.

We are a church and on a main highway. With also being a tourist town this has allowed us to tap into those riding by. We are satisfied.

Pros

This is all new to us - so we have had to learn from the bottom up. Thankfully this is easy to use. The programs provided have given us adequate start up capabilities. I see that we can add to this as needed. Overall, we have been satisfied with all of the components. Also, very thankful for the online support. When we have need help with easy and more difficult questions, they have been there for us.

Cons

Can see that anything is missing at the moment. We have only had this for a month. So we are still wading through all of this.

What I really like most about this software is that it has the most user-friendly website. I was able to navigate easily and create a digital signage in just few minutes.

Cons

I would say the pricing. I was hoping that this software is free but I understand why it's not. I love the free trial so far. My boss might purchase the subscription soon.

Pros

I tried 4 other digital signage platforms. Play is by far the best bang for your buck. Animations were key for our deployment, where other platforms didn't even offer the ability to use animations, Play makes it super simple.

Cons

Only issues I had were having to convert 4k videos to 1080p before uploading.

We needed to advise our clients of our changing opening times & services offered in this current Covid era & it has allowed us to keep them updated wherever we are.

Pros

Free single licence, ease of use, features, great support.

Cons

The WIFI connection is not detected automatically & requires setting up in the Linux screen which requires a bit of linux knowledge but much easier with an Ethernet connection.
