Cons my issues were towards the Hardware side using a 2025 Insignia FireTV, using playlists and streams made the app crash after awhile, even with the auto launch setup went into a weird cycle. Cons Interface takes a few minutes to understand but not hard if your computer literate. If you are able to use and iphone the setup is not too hard. It is easy to use, and supports all the platforms, resolutions and functionality I have needed. It is a one-stop solution. Pros I am hardly scratching the surface of what Play Signage can do in terms of advanced functionality, but even the basic ability to run the software on all major platforms we need (notably Android), and playing back at 4K resolution, puts it ahead of many other platforms I have tried. There are enough pricing options to cater for most levels of requirement, and when I've reached out to customer services, they have been extremely helpful. Cons No real complaints to speak of. June 7, 2025 5.0 I needed a signage tool running on Windows that could output a series of slides in random order on HDMI which I feed into a digital cinema projector for pre-show. Play does it perfectly and best of all I can update the slides from any web browser anywhere. Pros So easy to get started, and it provides EVERYTHING I needed, all in the online app. I don't even need to spend ages prepping graphics, there are resize and crop options and so on built in to Play that were good enough. November 24, 2025 5.0 We are a ski club located in New Hampshire and we use the software to publish a Google sheet of the room assignments in our club house. We have a tv in the lobby where members who have reserved a room are posted. The person in charge of reservations can view and update the spreadsheet from anywhere and it will update the tv in near real time (this is a Google sheets limitation and has nothing to do with Play signage - this was handled by the Play signage tech support very professionally). It has made room management for our members more efficient. Pros What we really like about the player is the cloud app. Building the template and adding sources is intuitive an easy to do. Publishing changes happens in real time so it takes a lot of the guess work out of the design. Also, the free screen forever promo is not bad!
