The Sites application, in particular, is a great value for the busy pastor. Tithe.ly has historically been reliable for payment processing and donor management. It is a must for on-the-spot tracking of church income vs. budget. Pros Sites was easy to understand and quick to set up. Customer support was both responsive and key to understand how to start it from scratch. It is a must for a busy pastor who needs the splash and feasibility of an attractive but user-friendly site. Cons The background checks still need some work to make it more intuitive to the user. The recent integration with MinistrySafe, in this regard, is still being perfected. July 17, 2025 5.0 Overall I would say this is a product hard to beat at the price point it is being offered. In addition, it seems things are only getting better as new features are added. Pros All else aside, Tithely is the best giving platform out there for churches. In addition, they include a feature set that is hard to beat. Price is doable for all size churches. The features are immense (pretty much has all you will need). The app and website are easy to create and are attractive to the eye. 2-way messaging is great! Cons Over the years it seems tithely has partnered up with other companies to increase their feature set. Great! What is not so great? Some are still only 1 way integrated, or not integrated at all. At some point ministries need all these features accessible from a singular ecosystem of person data. Truly there is no match when it comes to the value for the money. Any time that I have an issue or need help understanding something, the customer support has been excellent. I know this application is ever evolving and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Pros I like how everything is here in one application and the payment processing and donor management is easy to understand. The membership management is also very nice in how everyone has a profile where we can add notes such as allergies or whatever. The new check-in and forms features of Breeze has been phenomenal. Cons While I love everything is here in one application, the navigation can be tough to understand and train people on who are not actively using the software on a daily basis. I know we are about to upgrade to the new Lithely 3.0 which has a new user interface and from images and videos it looks like that will be much easier to understand. As a church leader, I often get contacted about trying other products, but I can't beat what Tithe.ly offers. Any church, especially small churches, really need to give Tithe.ly a serious look. Pros What isn't there to like? The All-In Package has everything that a church needs. Their price fits a small church's budget. Their customer support is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Tithe.ly. Cons The level of consumer customization feels limited in some areas. It isn't bad thing, as I realize most small churches don't need a lot of customizing. As someone who like playing and tweeking, I would like to see more, but not that big of a deal. Non-techy members of our staff have no trouble updating the church website now and we don't seat the random code releases breaking our website like we did with wordpress. Pros We migrated our church website from Wordpress to Tithely and couldn't be happier. Their website builder is SO user friendly and easy to make look clean and professional. Their customer service is also excellent. They're always very responsive. Cons Inserting images into the posts is a bit tricky and not intuitive. Hopefully they will update that process eventually. Pros The platform is user friendly once set up by Tithe.ly team. You can customize almost any premade template and it is clean cut, helping others virtually discover the space God has granted you. Good resources for helping you navigate the website. Fun conferences and giveaways keep things interesting as well. Pre-loaded pictures. Cons Processing fees, template designs (you don't have full control on tiles and certain features). Some things are a little complicated on the back end to locate. The monthly cost for using it. Think it should be a little less. Since my time of being a customer with Tithe.ly there has been a lot of changes for the better. I love that the team is always trying to meet the needs of their customers and being competitive in the marketplace without the need to break the budget of the consumer. They are responsive to my needs and honest when something isn't working and lets me know when I can expect a fix if there is a problem. Pros Honestly there are a few things about Tithe.ly that makes them stand out to me. The quality and affordability of the product, the ease of use along with the helpfulness of the customer service and support team. Cons Having two giving platforms for Tithe.ly and Breeze if you are using both products. I'm still trying to find the benefits to both. It's probably because I really try to figure things out before inquiring for assistance, I'm sure there is a reason but that's just me. If churches can afford it, they should definitely purchase. Pros Tithely is very simple to run, especially Sites and Messaging. Cons Tithely should consider merging People and Elvanto. Since they are separate, we have to keep two databases with messaging happening through People and Giving/Directory stuff happening through Elvanto. We have used other CHMS products and the strength of the tithe.ly suite is that all of the products tie together. Cons I have not had any issues up to this point. I realize the internal integration of the differing apps will become more seamless as time goes on. If you find yourself needing help with the website or any of their products, the service you receive is always fast and friendly! Pros I love that Tithe.ly has products within their product family that you can set up and use seamlessly without making a monthly commitment for products you may not need. Our church uses the giving platform the most and we love it. It gives our members the freedom to give elcetronically and on their own time. They can also set up recurring gifts with automatic draft. This company and their products have been a Godsend for our growing ministry! Cons The Tithe.ly website is not as user friendly as I would like and it switches between the newer and older version at times and it can be very confusing. There are also times when you are looking for something on the site and you would think it was under a certain heading but you look for it and its not there. Cons Right now the only con I have is the connectivity between Breeze and Tithe.ly. I have to enter names twice if I want giving records to enter Breeze correctly. Have considered other options to reduce the fees, but have yet to do so. Pros Works very well. Trustworthy after years of use in 2 churches. Simple to use and set up. Great option for card or remote givers. Cons Perfect for small, ~$50 gifts. The fees begin to be fairly large on bigger gifts, and serve to actually de-incentivize large donors. Perhaps consider capping the fees at a maximum dollar value? (I.e. Maximum fee of $10 per transaction.) February 18, 2025 5.0 When we decided to make the change from SubSplash to Tithe.ly we initially had some reservations but we were very pleased once we got over the learning curve. Pros Tithely meets all of our needs and the staff is extremely professional and patient! Cons The learning curve was a bit longer than anticipated but with the incredible support, I really don't consider it a con.
