I have actually looked at leaving and using other platforms, but when I really compared everything, I realized how much Kajabi already does. I like being able to keep most of what I am doing in one place instead of piecing together a lot of different systems. There are definitely things I would improve, but overall I think it is a strong platform, especially if you are building courses, a membership, a community, and other digital resources. Pros I really like that Kajabi has so much in one place. I can have my courses, community, emails, landing pages, offers, and other resources without having to use a bunch of different platforms. I have looked at other options, but I keep coming back to Kajabi because it really does have a lot of what I need and gives me room to grow. Cons The biggest thing for me is probably the price. Kajabi has a lot of features, but it can get expensive, especially when there are still a few things you may need another platform for. I also think there are so many features that sometimes you don’t even realize everything you already have access to or how you could be using it. August 14, 2025 1.0 Cons For the last 5 days, I’ve been locked out of my account despite showing proof of previous months’ payments. Their reason? I’m unwilling to pay them 2 months at once, including charges they cannot justify and that are currently in dispute. The first support email I got came only after posting my review of their terrible customer service. This 5-day unethical lockout has meant I have: • Lost access to my intellectual property • Been unable to process client business through the platform • Lost valuable time and opportunities Kajabi’s refusal to restore access while this dispute is ongoing is causing direct financial harm. Their lack of urgency, accountability, and customer care is unacceptable. To any entrepreneur, avoid at all costs. It is very confusing for potential customers. It tells potential customers to input their info at the top to purchase and then all the sales information about the offer at the bottom of the page. Overall, I'm willing to pay more to use Kajabi because they are professional, the site is easy to manage, and I have access to marketing strategies I would otherwise have to pay a lot of money for. Pros Kajabi looks professional, is easy to use, and has all the marketing and business tools you need in one place. Cons I don't need most of the marketing features right now, so I'm paying a lot more for my website than I would like. Since I can't sell physical products, I have to use Shopify - this is frustrating and time-consuming. I absolutely love the friendly customer service agents, but they can't solve technical issues quickly. It can take several days, which isn't acceptable when your customers expect your site to function seamlessly. I'm probably going to have to move to another company because I need to be able to solve problems immediately, but it looks like I won't be able to transfer my content since I built it on their site with their templates. When there are other tools (say Systeme or Landingi) offering similar (and more) solutions for a very low and affordable price, Kajabi needs to rethink its pricing model. But I first experienced Kajabi a few years back when an online course I bought was hosted on Kajabi. I really enjoyed the experience. The interface was very appealing and easy to use. So, I was glad when my client informed me earlier this year that she was switching from another course platform to Kajabi. Overall my experience on the administrative side has been quite satisfactory. Pros As an all-in-one platform, Kajabi is pretty cool. At the moment, we are using it for a few courses; a podcast; lead magnet landing pages and the automatic emails that go out when people sign up for the lead magnets. (We use a separate platform for our weekly newsletter.) For our purposes so far Kajabi has been working out well. And the Kajabi team is continually building out new features. For instance, the podcast feature just came out earlier this year, and they recently added a coaching module. On the occasions that I've needed help figuring stuff out, Kajabi's chat support has been very responsive and helpful. Kajabi also has their own self-service knowledge center with help articles and video tutorials. In addition, Kajabi seems to be quite popular and you can find multiple creators on YouTube with in-depth series covering all the different features of the platform. Cons I came across multiple challenges using Kajabi's new Podcast feature. Since Kajabi's podcast feature is relatively new, my client felt more comfortable uploading her episodes to another more established platform. The initial RSS import of existing episodes from the other platform to Kajabi was easy enough, but new episodes are not automatically added Kajabi. Each week I have to manually upload the audio file and copy over the the show notes. Furthermore, our show notes contain multiple links, which we want to open in separate tabs. Kajabi's default is for links to open in the same tab, and there is no option to change our preference globally. So again, I have to set each link manually. Finally, you can upload a transcript as a text file, but you can't format the transcript at all - such as bolding the speakers' names. This plain-text format is challenging to read. It means I no longer need to pay for external things like landing pages and video hosting. The mobile app and marketing pages make it well rounded solution to teach online. It is an impressive all-in-one platform. Pros We wanted to offer online classes. Kajabi has a lot of features that add to the online classes like marketing and payment. Our main concern was giving the students the content. We easily added audio and video to the course. Payments worked smoothly with Stripe and has many options to customize the price and discounts. It keeps track of the students in an easy way. The best part of Kajabi is the helpful and welcoming support. They really go the extra mile and are patient. Their caring attitude helped me setup the custom domain. Customer support makes Kajabi one of the best choices. Cons It does not have an attendance system. Even though it does have quizzes/surveys, tracking attendance will require extra manual work. The price is high (about $120/month) but if you have a hundred students every month, then price is not an issue. You can customize the look and use the templates. Owner E-Learning Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Too many limitations and very difficult to get support" September 5, 2022 2.0 See above Pros At this point the problems overshadow the benefits Cons The cost for this learning management system is higher than its competitors but given the limitations we’ve experienced, with no support, I wish that we had chosen a different LMS option. For example, our students need to write a quiz and achieve a minimum of 80% before the next lesson is unlocked. If a student achieves under 80% there is no way to indicate what questions they got wrong so they are working blind and become very frustrated. The only work around is to show all of the answers - the correct and incorrect answers which defeats the purpose of having them write a quiz. I have asked a number of times for support and get passed around from person to person. This reflects poorly on our company. If I had to do it over I would choose another LMS. Unfortunately I didn’t know what I didn’t know. If you are considering Kajabi, try to find find people/companies using Kajabi and ask what they don’t like about the it. The inclusion of so many other tools such as Zoom, videos and more, it's perfect! Having your website entire migrated over to kajabi would allow everything to be in one space. Pros I love the versatility of the software to create my course and coaching offerings while maintaining brand cohesiveness. The integrations also are super so that I am able to keep everything organized in one space without needing separate video hosting, etc. For my courses and coaching. Cons I find the price is quite high and with the advent of member spaces through squarespace, I can't necessarily justify the additional cost.
