If your goal is to launch quickly or validate and idea, it's great. If you use more advanced features in email marketing or e-commerce, you may run into some snags. Pros Kajabi has everything you need to launch an online program quickly. More than once, I've been able to go from idea to launch in just one day. Between the email marketing, carts, and easy to use builder, it's got everything! Cons While Kajabi does everything, other than the course builder, it doesn't do anything in an excellent way. The email marketing is very basic and the shopping cart doesn't have all the features that I'd like. I have actually looked at leaving and using other platforms, but when I really compared everything, I realized how much Kajabi already does. I like being able to keep most of what I am doing in one place instead of piecing together a lot of different systems. There are definitely things I would improve, but overall I think it is a strong platform, especially if you are building courses, a membership, a community, and other digital resources. Pros I really like that Kajabi has so much in one place. I can have my courses, community, emails, landing pages, offers, and other resources without having to use a bunch of different platforms. I have looked at other options, but I keep coming back to Kajabi because it really does have a lot of what I need and gives me room to grow. Cons The biggest thing for me is probably the price. Kajabi has a lot of features, but it can get expensive, especially when there are still a few things you may need another platform for. I also think there are so many features that sometimes you don’t even realize everything you already have access to or how you could be using it. August 14, 2025 1.0 Cons For the last 5 days, I’ve been locked out of my account despite showing proof of previous months’ payments. Their reason? I’m unwilling to pay them 2 months at once, including charges they cannot justify and that are currently in dispute. The first support email I got came only after posting my review of their terrible customer service. This 5-day unethical lockout has meant I have: • Lost access to my intellectual property • Been unable to process client business through the platform • Lost valuable time and opportunities Kajabi’s refusal to restore access while this dispute is ongoing is causing direct financial harm. Their lack of urgency, accountability, and customer care is unacceptable. To any entrepreneur, avoid at all costs. I know we got some kind of discount at the beginning for being in when they updated so that was a really nice perk. Customer support was always friendly and helpful. It was great to make a website never had any issues with security. We used it for our marketing and sales funnel and further for generating lead reports. It could send out automated emails and sync well with other apps Cons Don’t really have anything to complain about. I feel like Kajabi was a high-quality product. I was very unhappy with Teachable and did not have the time to create content on my own business website. I have created more than 10 separate products with this platform and at times it has a steep learning curve. The UI looks fantastic and very professional. I love how easy it is to add basic content to a product, but wish many of the menus talked to each other much better. The workflow is often very disjointed when creating a new product. I wish they would fix this aspect. If the flow was better and there were more in app capabilities for basic data analysis (e.g., assessment results without needed a separate download), that would be amazing. Pros I enjoy how easy it is to create, upload and organize content for a given product. I also like the progress monitoring capabilities. Cons I am incredibly frustrated by the assessment aspect of this platform. It is extremely limited. It is hard to see results from assessments and difficult to set them up. You have to create your assessment before you can add it to a course instead of creating it while you are working on a course. It is a completely different menu. It is also incredibly hard to get assessment results. The Customer Service database can usually answer my questions and their agents are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they can't solve technical issues quickly. Overall, I'm willing to pay more to use Kajabi because they are professional, the site is easy to manage, and I have access to marketing strategies I would otherwise have to pay a lot of money for. Pros Kajabi looks professional, is easy to use, and has all the marketing and business tools you need in one place. Cons I don't need most of the marketing features right now, so I'm paying a lot more for my website than I would like. Since I can't sell physical products, I have to use Shopify - this is frustrating and time-consuming. I absolutely love the friendly customer service agents, but they can't solve technical issues quickly. It can take several days, which isn't acceptable when your customers expect your site to function seamlessly. I'm probably going to have to move to another company because I need to be able to solve problems immediately, but it looks like I won't be able to transfer my content since I built it on their site with their templates. Kajabi makes it super easy with their templates to drag and drop things into position and all the pages connect - plus I can create pages that are not in the navigation so I love that too. Super easy to create courses too. Customer service is amazing, their Facebook group is filled with all kinds of entrepreneurs, questions asked and answered by experts and newbies. Pros I've used Kajabi for about 6 years for my website, course delivery, and membership. Everything I need is in one place with a seamless connection. It means I no longer need to pay for external things like landing pages and video hosting. Cons There are still improvements that could be made on the cart, email system, and flexibility of landing pages. Consequently, I use some other apps as add-ons. I'd also love more templates. I think if you max out the usage of its features you can run almost all your entire business from one place. While this does increase risk (due to the outages that sometimes occur) it is something that a newer entrepreneur can use to get up and running quickly and easily. Pros I really love Kajabi and endorse the product. But, since the price tag is on the high side, I recommend you use it if you are going to make the most of all the features. This includes using it as an LMS, a website and/or funnel builder, and a marketing management system. The email and CMS features are great and they have recently introduced a coaching and podcast platform as well. Super excited to use these features! Pros If you have no strings attached to any other software, this is a grab & go. Cons The pricing is stiff. You better have something to sell from the first day. Then, you can make THREE (3) products in the lowest plan. Hilarious.
