The Elium team are very responsible to queries and offer sound advice on implementation as well as ongoing advice and support on how to best leverage the capabilities the platform has and the new features and capabilities that they are constantly adding.

Pros

It is an easy to use platform for the user who is consuming content, the person who is uploading or contributing the content as well as the Administrators. The multi language capability is important when it is being used with global teams. The Answers AI module that was launched this year is very useful in helping summarise data within a large database like ours.

Cons

As with any platform, aligning new features with out business needs is an ongoing, rewarding challenge.

You have a problem in your question above as ther is no option to select unknown or i cannot say. All other vendors in the process is subject to an NDA but it was an exhaustive process It was by far and away the most suited to our needs and also allowed for future growth in our needs (Implemented in 2015)

I have been working with the Elium solution and its teams for seven years now. The platform evolves with the times and our needs. User feedback remains at the core of future developments. Additionally, user groups are always insightful: they provide a clear understanding of the platform's direction, allow us to learn about ongoing developments, and inspire new ideas to improve our content and ways of working.

Pros

The content creation interface is very intuitive and easy to use. Highlighting content, either by featuring it on the homepage or distributing it via email, is a real advantage for a communicator like me!

Cons

Being required to use the Microsoft 365 environment (group tool), better integration of Teams, SharePoint, and Viva Engage would be a valuable addition. Additionally, a graphic redesign of the "spaces" view and/or the tab-based layout in the left navigation bar, starting from the homepage, would provide a smoother navigation experience.

Nous sommes ravis de notre expérience avec Elium. Pour nous il y avait un véritable enjeu à choisir LE bon 1er outil de knowledge management : simple, intuitif et efficace et qui remporterais l'adhésion des équipes rapidement. Le pari est réussi !

Pros

\- Support client très réactif, échanges fréquents avec les équipes produits qui sont très accessibles (et supers sympas) c'est d'ailleurs l'un des points forts qui nous avait fait choisir Elium face à ses concurrents. - Beaucoup de transparence et de visibilité sur les améliorations proposées, la roadmap produit, etc... Une vraie "communauté" d'utilisateurs active, c'est très agréable (et peu commun). - Très bon moteur de recherche et IA intégrée - Expérience utilisateur agréable et interface très intuitive - La construction de l'outil avec le référencement par "tag"

Cons

\- La mise en forme des contenus mériterait d'être améliorée (gestion des titres accordéons & des tableaux) - Lors d'une recherche via l'IA on visualise les documents sur lesquels se base le résultat mais pas la partie du document concernée, ce n'est pas optimal pour être sûr d'avoir la bonne info et/ou l'améliorer au besoin - Intégration Teams en bêta avec certains bugs - Il manque la possibilité de pouvoir dépublier du contenu et le repasser en brouillon (VS l'archivage) - Pas assez de custom de la page d'accueil disponibles (ex : pouvoir organiser l'ordre de visibilité de ses espaces VS ordre alphabétique automatique)

L'outil me pertmet de s'informer sur les sujets de developement en cours ainsi qu'avoir un vue sur l'historique de nos projets repartie par année et par domain industrielle grace à la taxonomie prevue dans le logiciel. La recherche de l'information ainsi que 'ajout du contenu est intuitive et ne demande pas de connaissance de spécifiques commandes. L'interface du logiciel est moderne. L'application mobile fonctionne bien.

Pros

Nombreuses possibilités de personalisation de la plateforme selon les besoins de clients. L’outils est facile à utiliser. La recherche de l’information est efficace. Le support technique en cas de problème est rapide, les clients sont bien informés sur le developement de nouvelles fonctionnalités de la plateforme.

Cons

La fonctionnalité d'export de données vers les documents internes dans l'entreprise a ces limitations.

Elium est déployé depuis plus d'un an auprès d'un périmètre donné et a permis divers apports : - Réduction du temps d'accès à la connaissance - Augmentation des recherches ayant abouti du 1er coup - Réduction du délai de mise à disposition d'une connaissance - Augmentation de la qualité d'une connaissance - Réduction du temps de montée en compétence d'un collaborateur - Réduction du temps de maintien d'une connaissance - Réduction de la moyenne d'âge des connaissances disponibles - ... et d'autres ! Nous sommes donc désormais en train de réfléchir à un déploiement plus global sur l'ensemble de la société. Le produit est un des meilleurs du marché de mon point de vue (étayé par la consultation fonctionnelle que nous avions menée en juillet 2023) et les équipes Elium sont disponibles et compétentes pour accompagner leur client. Cependant, le déploiement d'un tel logiciel doit s'accompagner d'une démarche de Knowledge Management cadrée au sein de l'organisation afin de permettre une utilisation optimale car, l'un ne va pas s'en l'autre.

\- Ergonomie du produit et facilité de prise en main rapide - Maturité globale du produit et l'équipe - Fonctionnalités disponibles permettant de couvrir quasiment l'ensemble des étapes du cycle de vie de la connaissance - Produit en constante évolution - Personnalisation du produit à la main du client (logo, couleur, template, zone d'accès à l'information sur la page d'accueil, gestion personnelle des notifications, ...)

Cons

De par notre contexte multi-équipes, le produit n'est parfois pas adapté, voici quelques exemples : - Le rôle d'animateur système est sous exploité, il serait nécessaire de le revoir pour lui permettre de réaliser des tâches actuellement réalisables que par les administrateurs système - Impossibilité d'utiliser l'intégration Teams car celle-ci ne peut être activée que sur un unique canal Teams - Pas de possibilité d'agréger les statistiques de plusieurs espace de connaissance (on peut voir les statistiques par espace ou pour l'ensemble de la plateforme)

J'ai intégré elium en 2009 au sein d'une entreprise spécialisée dans l'aide à la décision en tant que responsable du KM, de l'information stratégique et de prestations intellectuelles de veille stratégique. Elium en est toujours le pivot central permettant le traitement des données et la diffusion aux clients finaux. En 2018 j'ai facilité l'intégration d'elium au sein d'une école formant les professionnels de l'information stratégique que j'ai rejointe en 2024.

Pros

Client d'elium depuis des années, j'ai particulièrement apprécié deux points clés m'ayant amené à la choisir comme solution centrale de knowledge management : la performance globale de la solution et l'état d'esprit de l'équipe d'elium. Performance : interopérable, elium s'est très bien intégré à l'environnement applicatif existant. Sa facilité d'administration et d'utilisation ont été un "gros plus" pour embarquer les équipes de tous niveaux grâce notamment à une esthétique et une organisation réussies des espaces de travail, cela a facilité le démarrage et l'appropriation individuelle. Les possibilités de traitement de tous formats et de description avancée ont été plébiscités par les utilisateurs. En tant qu'administrateur j'ai particulièrement apprécié le module statistique qui s'est révélé être un précieux atout pour comprendre les usages et adapter le contrat aux besoins évolutifs. Le second point très positif a été la grande disponibilité de l'équipe d'elium appuyant mes besoins spécifiques tout au long de ces nombreuses années en tant que client, avec un niveau et une qualité de prise en charge excellents. Les demandes ont toujours été rapidement traitées. Par ailleurs elium a permis à ses clients intéressés de pouvoir échanger entre eux, c'est très utile pour identifier de bonnes pratiques et les intégrer.

Cons

Difficile de répondre à cette question car sur le fond je n'ai pas expérimenté de déception. Peut-être proposer plusieurs modèles d'interfaces clientes selon les métiers des utilisateurs finaux ?
