It makes payroll so much easier by providing perfect reports. The interface is easy to use and actually intuitive! Pros Timeclock Wizard is AMAZING! It's very easy to use, the mobile app is super-convenient, and the support staff is absolutely perfect! They're extremely helpful! I know there are plenty of improvements that could come from the software but for now we stick with it because it's familiar to us and good enough. Pros It's an immediate upgrade from the old school method we were previously using so the time tracking and even the GPS tracking of employees is very helpful and valuable in that regard. It is also helpful for payroll purposes now that I have become familiar with navigating the different tabs and confirming all info is correct. Cons It is generally a clunky software and works best on desktop which is fine for me but not ideal for the employees when they are typically clocking in and out on their mobile device. There have been so many times were our employees are unable to clock in or out because of a mobile glitch and they have to close out the app or re-download it altogether. That becomes very frustration after the first few times and having to stop and figure out how to fix this "IT" issue. Reason for choosing Time Clock Wizard It was a product that was on the less expensive side compared to some other options. August 9, 2018 5.0 Pros I use this software as employee to track my times at the office. The software is very easy to use, it allows you to see the hours that you´ve worked in an organized time card with the dates, start and end hours and the duration of your shift. The software is very useful in order to track your next payment because it calculate it according to the hours worked. I know it has an schedule feature but I haven´t used it so far. For me the program is easy to understand and it is a practical software to track your hours and payment. Cons If you forget to reload the page after a couple hours and you do a clock in or clock out it doesn´t work so you need to remember to always reload the page in order to be able to perform any action (this is in the case that you left the page always open in your computer) Review Source Jennifer C. The free version even tracks and uploads to sync with your time sheet which is incredibly helpful Cons I honestly cannot think of any cons, this is one of the easiest time track apps I have used with any job. It did take some time to figure out, but the tutorials and help section was very helpful. " August 8, 2017 5.0 I can easily catalog when my employees arrive without relying on pen-to-paper transfer or memories, and I can quickly spot trends or patterns in attendance. Pros The simple interfact and "use anywhere" features are fantastic. I love that although they've implemented a paid subscription, they've kept the basic features free, as I've come to rely heavily on this tool! Cons I understand that business needs change, and when I signed up and saw their "forever free" promise I was skeptical. Normally I avoid using features I don't intend to pay for because I don't like to become reliant on them .... but I absolutely found myself feeling a real hole in my HR space when Time Clock Wizard began charging for their amazing features like tracking tardies, having employees submit time-off requests, etc. It's definitely worth charging for -- it's a robust and straightforward platform -- but I do miss having those features available for free in my tiny office. February 26, 2018 5.0 Easy to use, easy to teach to the employees. The interface is easy for employees and management to understand. Pros Easy to use, can grant employees to "punch in" on line from remote locations. It does a great job of reporting time. We used it for time off tracking as well. Cons Your PC needs to be on and running to punch in. Ie: My employees were often punching in later than their actual time because they were waiting for system start up, or windows updates. We ended up having to go to a stand alone time clock since we were victims of bad internet connections in our office. We are at the end of the internet circuit and lost several channels. Now that the internet is fixed I would not hesitate going back to this once the stand alone time clock outlives it usefulness. Review Source LF Lora F. I think the Wizard would work best in a professional environment with employees that are responsible enough to handle remotely clocking in and out. Pros The best feature of this software was that it figured hours, and the time sheet could be printed, with hours already added up. Cons You could not update more than one day at a time. There was no way to make multiple corrections for the same employee, during the same week, at one time. Making corrections was a time consuming process. Review Source AM Andrei M. We customer service of this company was very rude about this incident. Pros There is really no pros. There are plenty services out there that offer better features and cost much less! Cons There are a lot of glitches in timesheet function. Just selecting the right employee in timesheet is a challenge. You will be dealing with their bugs that they never fix forever. Costs 3 times higher then their competitor pricing. They increase the subscription price without any notice and you are locked in if you selected a yearly plan. Review Source TL Tina L. July 18, 2017 3.0 Pros I liked he ease of the software. It was very easy to add and delete employees. Adding in the time for employees was easy as well. Cons The only thing I didn't like about it was I had to do 2 different time slots for each employee when logging time. Accounting Manager Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Bait and Switch" October 10, 2017 4.0 Pros Ease of use and timecard reports I was able to print for our one hourly employee before they changed their policy to not allow printing on free accounts. It has other features that I do not need that might be helpful to some. Cons Started out free for up to 3 employees. We have one. 4 weeks later I go to print her timecard and it won't print unless I pay. I know that is not a lot of money but I felt like my information was being held hostage for money. Customer service said they put a notice on the website but I guess they don't realize that all managers don't log in before doing their payroll reports. Did screen printouts of this pay period and will look for a different program.
