It makes payroll so much easier by providing perfect reports. The interface is easy to use and actually intuitive! Pros Timeclock Wizard is AMAZING! It's very easy to use, the mobile app is super-convenient, and the support staff is absolutely perfect! They're extremely helpful! It's helpful to outline and determine where time is being spent and how to quickly categorize that time. Cons I wish it had a web interface. I know there are plenty of improvements that could come from the software but for now we stick with it because it's familiar to us and good enough. Pros It's an immediate upgrade from the old school method we were previously using so the time tracking and even the GPS tracking of employees is very helpful and valuable in that regard. It is also helpful for payroll purposes now that I have become familiar with navigating the different tabs and confirming all info is correct. Cons It is generally a clunky software and works best on desktop which is fine for me but not ideal for the employees when they are typically clocking in and out on their mobile device. There have been so many times were our employees are unable to clock in or out because of a mobile glitch and they have to close out the app or re-download it altogether. That becomes very frustration after the first few times and having to stop and figure out how to fix this "IT" issue. Reason for choosing Time Clock Wizard It was a product that was on the less expensive side compared to some other options. October 1, 2024 4.0 I've had limited use of it, only for self employment. If you are looking for something free and want to do short term payrolls it's useful. Pros I used it for self employment purposes, it was really useful to track the time as it automatically does the billing calculations for you. It also includes breaks too. The free version even tracks and uploads to sync with your time sheet which is incredibly helpful Cons I honestly cannot think of any cons, this is one of the easiest time track apps I have used with any job. March 25, 2019 5.0 Best time tracker I know of. An app that works great with an excellent team backing it up. I have had nothing but excellent customer service each and every time I have called. The agents are always quick to help and very knowledgeable. I can't believe we didn't sign up earlier! This is such a great and easy app! Pros Time Clock Wizard has really simplified the payroll process for my clients. Like magic, all the reports appear, and what used to take hours can now be done in just a few minutes. All the employees love it too, they know they get paid for every minute. Cons I have not fully utilized Time Clock Wizard, so my cons may be due to my lack of experience or understanding. But, overall, I believe the product is beneficial and works reasonably well, it just takes a bit of getting used to the format and reports. Review Source PL Patrick L. Pros Easy to setup, and the paid version is very customizable, with lots of features, tools, and controls. Cons Started free for unlimited users with all the basic tools one would need for a time clock. Then they changed the platform such that only three users were allowed (one of them being the account manager), unless you wanted to upgrade to the paid version. Most recently they eliminated ALL reporting...unless you pay for it each month. They are now holding my data hostage as I refuse to pay even a paltry fee for what was promised to be free. Pros Time Clock Wizard is very easy for the people who need to clock in and out everyday! Requesting time off is easy as well. Cons The average user who wants to run basic reports will need some instruction to get it right and to know what hours are calculated into the totals and which are not. Pros Nothing I see is good about this software. Cons 2 things - I requested a negative message to get off my home page and you have done nothing! When I clock in, if it 40 SECONDS after 8, it clocks in at 8:01 AND IF I CLOCK OUT AT 4:29 AND 40 SECONDS IT CLOCKS ME OUT AT 4:29. IT SHOULD DO IT THE SAME ALL THE TIME!! fIX IT OR DON'T SELL IT!
