Pros

Since this is a free software, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I brought it on board to our small company and I like it. I will likely move to a paid service in the future, but for now, it is a good service. I love the color coding on my tables/charts.

Cons

Just that it's really simple and doesn't have all of the features I would like in the future. Great for a beginning company, though.

Easy to maneuver, user friendly, reporting is good

Cons

Does not calculate OT automatically. This is crucial for my semi-monthly payroll. Paid for an entire year and because I did not cancel within days I did not qualify for a refund, even for unused months

Since our customary payroll system was not available for some time, we had to switch to Time Clock Wizard which enabled us to punch in/out our hours easily.

Pros

We needed an alternative method for logging our times for payroll and Time Clock Wizard helped us greatly. I love the fact it is compatible with Quickbooks so it makes my life easier!

Cons

I wasn't able to seamlessly connect Time Clock Wizard with Microsoft Excel since Excel is the popular software for spreadsheets and accounting.

Pros

My employees can clock in and out using the mobile app! Effective at keeping track of where my employees clock in and out with the gps tracker!

Pros

Started out free for 3 or less users and you got basic printed reports. Easy to setup. Customer support was helpful & free.

Cons

Now they charge for any type of printed report or support. Very slow response time Difficult to navigate reporting system.

None, even though they said there was a free version, it is unusable without having to upgrade to one of their highest packages.

Pros

Looks nice, has nice features. If it wasn't for the fact that they trick you into the free program before stripping you of all features, this would be a great time clock option.

Cons

You can't use any of the features without spending some amount per month. Can't even run a report showing how many hours have worked. They claim to have a free plan for under 3 users but it won't allow you to do anything so it's pointless. Can't believe how greedy this company is.

Pros

It's web-based and you can clock in. Setting it up on workstations was easy.

Cons

There are just many better options out there than this. Reporting is not good. Adding people is not quick and easy. It's really just not very good software at least at the time we used it which was about a year ago. TImeclock Plus is definitely a lot more expensive, but just a lot better.

Pros

I no longer like anything about this software. It's useless at this point. Initially it seemed great since we're such a small business, but all functionality has now been stripped from our account in an effort to force us into a paid subscription.

Cons

Extremely frustrating to sign up for a "free" program just to track time for two employees, use it for a few pay periods, and then suddenly discover that every menu option on the site requires a paid subscription. AFTER getting both employees accustomed to the program and learn their logins. RIDICULOUS. Not expecting anything major from Time Clock Wizard. Just expecting to track time and print total hours worked per pay period for payroll. I was initially able to circumvent them restricting me from printing actual reports by just printing the screen. Today I couldn't even print the screen.

Time Clock Wizard is easy to setup, allows multiple users as well as admins with varying levels of access/authority. It is simple to navigate and integrate into a small business.

Cons

We have not experienced any major issues with Time Clock Wizard so far, which has been great for the small business.

I've used the free version of timeclock wizard for about 1 1/2 years and I give it a high rating in all categories. I think it's a great tool. I am however a small business and I feel like their new pricing model has priced me out of the system. Yes I can still use the basic version for free, which is just that, very basic. I think it's a great service and I wouldn't mind paying for it, but I believe the pricing model is far too high, or maybe needs additional levels. I think a 3 user pro version for $9.95/mth would be easier to swallow as a small business and still provide them with the paid model they are looking for. To go from using the software with access to all features for free one minute to having to pay $/mth for the same use is absolutely ridiculous. It's just not a viable solution for me anymore.

I have no words to say that I like least about the timeclock. Iliked all functionality of timeclock.

ease of use - employees had a very easy time using the system and clocking in and out. Administrator appreciated this

Cons

We needed a system that integrated with our payroll and HR system, this product was used as a very satisfactory interim product while we set up the permanent system

Time Clock Wizard it's very user friendly! Customer services is amazing! CSR called me back quickly and he was very helpful and friendly.

Cons

I have only used it for a month and a half. I will a better understanding when I get the chance to look more into it.

I love the ease of use of the software. I am very busy and I need something that is easy to use. My staff has been able to clock in and out with very little problems.

Cons

Some of the features can be a little hard to use, but overall, this is a great and economical program to use!
