Pros All the data and the way it's analyzed in various ways. We love Flex Fields and Notes. Wish they displayed better in the results field. The analysts! People are always helping us get answers. Cons There are some bugs I'm experiencing with Query Builder which \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is working on. I'd like for the spreadsheets to do a bit of better formatting on their own - sorting, column width, etc. I have to spend a lot of time on editing reports. Our contact did everything possible to help us make the product work for us and was a great advocate. Ultimately, the product was expensive and extremely limited compared to other software that did the same thing. Pros Software presents new opportunities daily in a very convenient email. You can prioritize and categorize as needed. Easy to customize searches. Customer service was very good. Probably the best part about the service. Cons Much of the information you would use to look forward isn't very good. Found that most of the data was incomplete or not useful. We used this for state bidding and it feels like the federal side was more important. Reason for choosing Deltek GovWin IQ Our current product was purchased by GovWin so we stayed with it. Principal Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Use of system for Business Development and Marketing tool" November 5, 2021 4.0 We have used Deltek for well over 10yrs and it has become our "go to" in the sense of holding all our prior project history and experience. It has become an invaluable tool. Pros It has the capacity to handle multiple searches at one time, making it easy to track clients, projects and individuals for ease of contact and dialogue w/ others internally. Cons We have yet to figure out whether it is possible to zoom in on the screen to make it larger and easier to see all the functions and information on a small laptop. The research and customer support is second to none. Pros GovWin is the most comprehensive source for US public contracts, rfps and entities/companies that hold contracts in the public sector. Cons The ease of use could be improved. If I haven't used the software in a while it takes some time to refamiliarize. Pros Ability to save searches. I can't think of many positive aspects after 8 months of use. Cons GovWin primarily functions as a web scraper, gathering 'opportunities' from various online sources. However, its user interface is not the most user-friendly, and the data often lacks verification or refinement. Many of the presented 'opportunities' either necessitate third-party memberships or provide imprecise and incomplete details. Pros Onvia continues to update and make improvements that reflect the customer and ease of use. The search features are so easy to customize and navigate. Contracting oppurtunities! But it is a financial strain on the Small Business I work for to keep it fou to its exorbitant price. I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of expertise that the account managers have and their timely responsiveness. You can learn anything about a potential opportunity, and you can even identify teaming partners to help you execute on the project. I always consult GovWin IQ first whenever i try to learn about a new opportunity. Pros Ease of use, ability to query for opportunities, document repository (old contracts, RFPs, etc.) Cons It's hard sometimes to perform a detailed search using multiple search terms.
