We use it to assign students to specific classrooms based on their level of need each week. For example, a student with missing work, or needing to retake a test, or needing additional assistance with class content, can get assigned to a specific teacher to get the help they need during the school day. AchieveMore helps logistically with getting our students where they need to go. Whenever we have questions with the technology/logistical side of the software, the AchieveMore staff has been FABULOUS. So professional and prompt. I will sing their praises. Cons Some of the technical components were cumbersome or hard to learn (as with any new software). Sometimes there were a lot of "clicks" just to get one step of a process completed. It was particularly helpful in scheduling in-person interactions during the pandemic. It is effective for scheduling student-teacher sessions for weekly intervention/make-up sessions for 3300 students. Pros Ease of use, UI intuitive, speed, student tracking, notifications, very responsive and quick customer service Cons When I first started using the software, there were a few clumsy database actions. After consulting with the developer, those features were streamlined and the product performs very well now. The software was customized to our needs. I feel that \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] really listen to our needs and requests and work diligently to meet those needs by designing custom approaches and software. The whole process from concept to delivery was done by closely working with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. I always felt that they took the time to really understand our needs. Pros This software has become an integral part of how we offer additional help and support for students during our dedicated M.A.S.T support time each week. Each week teachers assign a small number of students to get help during the school day in a dedicated support time. Teachers and students needed a tool that would easily assign them to a room and teacher, while keeping track of the assignments and notifying teachers of potential multi-booking conflicts. We also take attendance during this time, and we needed a system that could both track attendance and notify parents when students did not attend. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], were and continue to be, outstanding to work with as they listened to our needs and built a custom product that delivers on all our requirements. In addition, they continue to be very responsive to making improvements and supporting the product if needed! Cons The one item that we are hoping for is a more robust integration with our rostering software. It would be ideal to have any student who is in our Skyward record system be able to automatically have an account created and managed in the MAST software. Staff members create their sessions and students go on the app and select the session they are going to attend. This works really well for us and what we need. I would encourage any school that is looking for a scheduling app or platform for managing intervention sessions to look at AchieveMore as an option. Pros The program is simple and user-friendly for staff and students. Their customer service is great and very responsive to any questions or issues. They are open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve their product or help you as a customer. It also met the needs we had a school...we wanted to create learning sessions for students during the day and have the students scheduled/assigned into these sessions. AchieveMore does this for us. Cons I think any issues or concerns we had when we started a few years ago have been addressed and resolved by the company. They have been very proactive in collecting feedback from us and catering the program to meet our needs. We used Google Docs and found our staff using most of their collaborative team time just managing the scheduling process. We turned to VACAVA to help us design a flexible scheduling application. They designed a program that allows us to easily set up multiple sessions, allows students to schedule themselves into those sessions, and allows us to send out alerts to students about the sessions they are to attend. The application is so easy to use that our staff can now devote their collaborative team time to instructional work, rather than scheduling work.
