Pros I really appreciate its savvy integration with other cloud-based solutions. It approaches the connection and bonding experience in a playful, yet professional manner. The company I work with is active with Salesforce and Google, so we discussed a crucial need of ours. The business needed our concepts and data to be quickly recorded into an excelling application. That's where EverNote Business came in. I was already familiar with EverNote and informed our company of the new technology extension. We moved forward and were impressed by the results. Within a month, our projections were progressing by a 20% increase. Our thoughts and visions were compiled, together, in a single database that simplified our workflow. The collaboration functions on the teams version is incredibly helpful as it aligns everyone to their respective actions / points to update. The transfer from device to device is seamless, and never has an issue with sync. No issues from my perspective. But also for all of my personal notes, lists etc. It is my go to software for anything I want to wrtie digitally. Pros I love the ease of access. It's so easy to set up a note and to tag it according to its theme. I have been using it since 2016 and now it is my go to software for taking any kind of notes. In fact I use Evernote more than I use MS Word, which is saying something, since I grew up using Word everyday. It really is a beautiful product. Cons Just one thing: It doesn't have an autocorrect (especially, the "auto-initial-caps" facility!) That means, it doesn't automatically capitalize the word after a period. I don't know why they don't include that now. When it started, it made sense, because the primary usage of Evernote was to take quick notes. But now, it has evolved to being so much more! It was groundbreaking for both consumers and, especially, for small business owners looking for record organization karma. It was a bliss for me for more than a decade. I loved the multi-device support and simplified web-clipping the most. I also loved the dark mode in the app and the web, although the desktop took longer to implement. Cons In the past few years, the UI started to get confusing and bloated with poorly organized dashboard elements. It felt crowded and a little messy to me. There were bugs in design synching between the mobile app, desktop software, and web interface. Their own spelling tool grew inferior (it was behind many modern terms). My last straw was a sizable hike in pricing this year, from $74 to $130 per year for me. That's 75%! I switched to Zoho Notebook which comes included in Zoho One that I use for business, anyway, at no additional cost. With this feature, our team is able to easily and effectively collaborate on different projects - we use one "Space" for each unique project. Updates to the team members are generated automatically. For each team member, we can and have set different levels of permission, i.e. view, edit, invite (others). The "Areas of Responsibility" template makes it really easy for us to assign tasks and keep track of them. Cons At this stage, I cannot think of any feature that is missing or lacking in Evernote Business. But I am getting more and more frustrated with the constant decline of the user experience. Pros Evernote search enables me to scan very quickly even through my largest notebook, which has more than 18k notes. The API enables very useful tools, like Kanbanote, to integrate nicely with evernote. Cons The user experience is getting more and more clumsy and cluttered. For example, for many years the button "New" created a new, which made sense. Now it opens a flyout menu that lets you choose between creating a note or a task, or a sketch or even an attachemet (but attached to what?). This is an extra click that you typically don't need. After having created more than 20k notes, I don't like extra clicks in the process. In the past, new notes had the option to be populated from templates, which made sense. Now the very first button in a new note is "Add Templates." It lets you add Evernote templates to a Gallery. The button has nothing to do with the note at all. Very strange. Review Source Torre C. It is the place I store literally anything I could ever want to remember later, and the information is completely unrelated and a mess in there, but Evernote's search feature makes it completely functional with no effort required on my part to organize the data. Cons I'm not in love with the new layout, to be honest. I feel it overcomplicated and clutters the screen. I found it seamlessly integrate with Microsoft platform along with other apps like Outlook, Gmail, MS office package, Calendar, Google drive etc. Cons I'm afraid Evernote Team is quite bulky in features, and perhaps, for this reason, I experience slowness to load in my Samsung M31 phone. Being a windows user, I can't comment on the functionality of MAC systems. I believe it should be the same.
