Adding widgets on my phone to instantly add a quick note or reminder, creating multiple notebooks with ease, & how superb it is to add entire documents inside a single note. Moreover, searching through a document's content came in quite handy & has absolutely become my #1 time-saving feature in this app. Cons Ever since the last few updates, the loading page of the Evernote (on Brave browser) takes a tad longer than before due to its newer UI. While functionality isn't affected overall, this aesthetic change felt a bit unnecessary to weigh down the platform. Pros Whenever you are managing a team, especially when directing them at a specific goal, task collaboration is really important, having a tool to collaborate, to track progress and set flexible deadlines depending on the process becomes critical, when you are managing a remote team alongside an in-office team it gets really critical to provide a collaborative tool to plan around everyone's schedules. Cons It can be a little difficult to integrate with people who use different software for notetaking such as google's proprietary or one note from MS Office. Review Source Josh D. I think they've missed some key opportunities over the years to really take off but they are still the best note-taking platform you will be able to find. Especially if you want to give it to all your employees instead of having them just use the free, personal version. Pros This is the best "external brain" on the market. It allows your employees a great place to take notice, store documentation, and generate ideas. While they have tried to branch out and add features for task management and communications, those haven't provided much value but the core of Evernote is still great. Especially their search. Being able to quickly search for your notes and also be presented with other company docs and coworker notes is very valuable. Cons Work Chat is a joke and they need to get rid of it. Sharing notes with other coworkers is also a bit of a pain. I would also love a whiteboard-style note where I can add images, text boxes, drawings, or whatever I need across a blank canvas. August 9, 2022 5.0 I actually really like Evernote teams. It feels very modern and expensive, but it should for the price! It's easy to share notes but I rarely need to anyway, everyone at work can access them. Transitioning was easy. I don't know what we would do without it now. Pros I like the project and task lists that everyone has access to. If I need to work with someone on a case I don't have to worry if they've done their part. I can make a to do list and keep track of it. The way the notes are displayed is nice. I can find any one in a few seconds. Images can be searched, definitely a plus! If I need to finish something at home I sync and continue working with my phone or home desktop. Evernote teams helps improve the way you take notes too. Cons The project and task manager needs to be changed a little. No kanban board... Price wise it's just not realistic for everyone. We write every single day, most of the day so it's okay for us. July 25, 2022 5.0 Since my experience was brief due to the abovementioned horse and buggy tied around my ankles, I don't have much I could say. What I did use and was discovering, I loved enough to try and plug to a team that was still hammering stone tablets. I wish they would have been more receptive because I feel like the program could have done away with a LOT of undue phone calls, texts and overcommunications in other mediums. Pros Love that all you need is your evernote login information to be able to have access to many different facets of your work- to do lists, progress, docs, communication. It was all there! Cons Honestly, I have no gripes about it other than the team I was working for in which I was trying to implement using Evernote was not co-operative whatsoever. They were stuck in their ways of pens and post its and I finally just gave up- (and then eventually left! ;) Reason for choosing Evernote Teams I had had a brief experience with Evernote which was how I knew about it from another employer I had worked with. " February 21, 2018 5.0 Innumerable benefits! Definitely the single-most used platform on daily basis for me. I have referred and onboarded multiple colleagues and friends onto Evernote. It's scalable, I obsessively keep on noting down everything on Evernote, to the point that I have stopped using MS Word and basic 'Notes' operations offered in MacOS. The biggest value that I have been deriving is the ability to capture photos of books I read and store them on cloud. The captured photo allows it to preserve that shot like a scanned image. This has truly allowed me to capture important pieces from books I regularly read. Pros 1\. It's superbly easy to organize your notebooks, have everything visually cataloged 2. Tagging notes with keywords really powers great search experience 3. Scanning pages etc is great, really captures great notebook shots 4. Instant public sharing from a single click 5. The fact that I can easily collaborate with people without any friction. Moreover it's fairly simple to grant people access to specific notes. 6. Access the account across multiple platforms, I have all of my devices synced and absolutely love it. 7. It just seems like the most scalable platform for notes taking. I literally don't use any other platform other than Evernote. Cons While Evernote basically covers all of my immediate requirements, the only thing which I feel that Evernote can solve or better optimize themselves for would be the "Check-list feature". This would really allow me to better manage my 'To-dos', essentially making Evernote a one-stop solution for all of my personal notes and to-do requirements. Review Source ML Mark L. Superior alternatives exist for time management although the app does have the characteristic Microsoft flair and quality even if its features leave things to be desired. Pros Evernote is a reliable if not unremarkable app with easy integration into Microsoft Teams. It especially excels in its ability to seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Teams. When meeting with certain clients over teams I consider Evernote to be crucial in helping with project planning and direction. The ability to interact with clients in a "chat" like environment is an especially strong point of Evernote. The ability to store files locally is also a welcome change from other project manager apps. Due to the ability to integrate with Microsoft teams it also gains the ability to integrate seamlessly with other Microsoft apps. As a Microsoft heavy user Evernote is the best all in 1 project manager for clients also using Microsoft products. Cons Whilst there are no glaring issues with the app, it unfortunately occupies the middle of the park and mediocre class. The app itself is simplistic yet as a result falls short of being the "all in 1" perfect app for project management. The ability to plan out tasks and determine specific timeframes is almost non-existent which is unfortunate as the rest of the app does allow for client discussions very well. In general the app does the job of a project manager app although is generic with no real innovation. There are better alternatives for project managers although only Evernote can boast the integration with wider Microsoft products. Review Source Suhailah S. Pros Using this application for managing my notes, idea and daily task is the best as it is very simple to do it all from this single application. Separating all my notes into its own category help me to find my notes back quickly whenever i need it back. Saving screenshot of article on website using the web clipper also one of thing that is really useful with this application. Cons There are not many difference on feature for the basic account and the premium account which make it a little bit wasting to upgrade to the expensive premium account. The file format of this application also can't be read on other software and if i need to share the note to my team or my colleague, they also need to have this application for it to work. You can attach documents and draw in the middle of the text without any trouble, it’s very simple to use, have a great design to. There are many features that big managments products have for a pretty cheap cost, considering the quality of the program. It really helped me and my team to meet our deadlines and improved our productivity. I love the integration with other devices (iphone, ipad, desktop, notebook). Cons It could have more customization options and sometimes, when I’m reading, I accidentaly change something that was wrote, it does not have a “only reading” option, so you have to be carefull. Cons What i like least with Evernote Business is, there are no option to open the note that i am saving outside the software. There are no feature or option to export it or saving it to other format that can be read on third-party software. It took us a couple of weeks to take advantage of it to improve our productivity, but it was completely worth it. The results were excellent. It's really great for capturing all the ideas you have in a conversation, without having to worry about anything. Pros Synchronizing the notes of an entire team in the cloud is the best way to increase productivity and improve communication. Evernote is the application I know that perfectly fulfills the idea of a group notebook, each member of the team can access all the notes and modify them as needed. It's very easy and quick to create new notes with various types of files, which makes them very powerful notes: audios, photos, fragments of web pages and a text editor that allows you to customize everything written. You can even take notes by hand with a pencil suitable for the device. The iOS, Android, Windows and browser applications are great at performance. They don't consume a lot of resources and sync perfectly. Cons It's hard to start using Evernote. It has many powerful features and learning them all is overwhelming at first. Technical support takes several days to answer questions about Evernote's operation, which is a bit frustrating. But when they do, they offer good service, so it's not all bad. When two people are editing the same note it can be a bit confusing, as there is no kind of distinction between one user and another when they are active at the same time. Pros I really appreciate its savvy integration with other cloud-based solutions. It approaches the connection and bonding experience in a playful, yet professional manner. The company I work with is active with Salesforce and Google, so we discussed a crucial need of ours. The business needed our concepts and data to be quickly recorded into an excelling application. That's where EverNote Business came in. I was already familiar with EverNote and informed our company of the new technology extension. We moved forward and were impressed by the results. Within a month, our projections were progressing by a 20% increase. Our thoughts and visions were compiled, together, in a single database that simplified our workflow. And most of all, we were able to work faster. EverNote trimmed unnecessary time away. Cons My only minor setback, with the software, would be the design possibilities.
