November 27, 2018 5.0 used Evernote for quite some time - and found the interaction across multiple devices - their tagging system and over UI - the teams hare mentality - ALL to be indispensable for any business where keeping track of notes - research and data are a must. Pros Evernote leads the pack in form and functionality - there tagging system is second to none - Cons customer service is honestly a bit sluggish to respond - and there are some issues in resolving pesky issues that linger - Webclipper issues plagued them for along time across various platforms (esp safari) - but they seem to have squashed that bug. It provides simple ways to organize notes and create notebooks. It is also easy to capture information from websites and save pdfs and other documents into the notes for future use. You can colour code and highlight text too. Cons An improvement would be to provide the ability to organize notebooks within larger topics. We were able to have a remote meeting and share out notes live to each other. Pros My team was able to send me a lot of information using Evernote to collaborate. Pros I love the amazing search features. The search feature can scan images for words. Also the tagging feature is helpful for organization. Cons At times the syncing can get a little hairy. When I work on a project on evernote desktop and have the same project open on evernote Ipad it will not always know which copy to save and sync other to. Pros Evernote syncs across all your devices. You can also install an extension in the Windows Chrome browser to save webpages to evernote, which is useful if you want to keep track of things. Pros As a person who tends to forget tasks easily, Evernote has come to be pretty handy. I don't only use it for work-related tasks but pretty much for any activity that requires note-taking. Highly recommend it to anyone who feels related to forgetfulness. I like it for keeping my thoughts and ideas. I write stuff down when I can, but when I don't have my notebook on me I just put it in Evernote on my phone. Cons The free version just supports apps on two devices. Cons While it is a great app, there has been little innovation with the app in over 2 years. I used mostly the online version and one year I bought one of the Moleskin notebooks (super fancy/expensive, but worth it)! Pros It was always easy to search and find any information I was searching for - even months or years afterward. Cons Like any organizing app, you need to have your own system of how you collect and organize your information. Mine evolved over time, so earlier notes and comments were hard to reorganize/find. Pros Evernote is a straightforward note management tool, very useful for those who take notes in their meetings using tablets and later want to have access to them on their desktops, laptops, cellphones or even on the web. It's like having a log book of all your meetings without having to transcribe them again. A very practical functionality is the "Web Clipper", an extension of "Chrome" that allows you to bookmark a web page, copy it completely or partially into your notes, and that it also works as an screen shot tool to make screen snips. Cons Sometimes after making a "web clip" on a web page, the Windows "clipboard" gets disabled, which causes problems when trying to do a "Copy & Paste" action, but this issue gets fixed by refreshing the web page. I love being able to insert photos, pdf and different files other then just typing in it. It makes the process of getting the relevant information from a website and sorting this information to a file just by a click. It helps in saving all your photos, notes, videos to notes which can be organized further as notebooks. You can share all the notes with your team or a person at ease. It is easy to access than other cloud computing service providers. The premium version is indeed, very cost effective. Cons Its difficult to share document with a person who does not have the application. The formatting of text gets changed when pasted to some applications like MS Word. It does not support Linux OS. Evernote Business let's you use the same client for both personal and company note-keeping. Data can be organized in notebooks and notebooks in stacks. The more data you put the better. Evernote has quickly become the best way to share our knowledge base in our team. Great product" January 16, 2018 5.0 Great product highly recommend. If you only need to use on 2 devices this is perfect! Pros Evernote is a game changer for me and my day to day schedule. I have a lot of random ideas that pop into my head during meetings etc and evernote is a simple solution for note taking and scratching down my ideas. Very simple/clean design. Cons If you need your information synced across multiple devices, you have to choose 2 in order to maintain a free account. The only downside i can think of is I have to manually copy and paste some of my notes from my macbook pro to my mac mini as I chose to have my macbook pro and my iphone have Evernote but not my mac mini. Evernote is very easy to use, thing like built in search engine is what makes this app so wonderful. I use it daily for my work related to-do list, grocery list, to compile documents for various people and so on. Evernote also takes bug fixing very seriously. Cons Sometimes notes are self-deleting and i have to rewrite it from the scratch. There is no text alignment option and no option to paste simple text.
